Chapter 30: Liu Yun Is Actually A Girl! However... She Was Born With A Special Disability

It was already evening by the time they returned to Gong Siyu's mansion.

It didn't take long for Ji Younai to snap out of the sulkiness for having the wrong year of birth written on her ID card.

She was smiling sweetly and innocently as usual again.

The servants continuously ran back and forth, up and down, as they took out the shopping bags from the trunks of the several luxury cars and brought them upstairs.

"Young Master wants us to set aside a room and turn it into Ms. Ji's closet."

Bai Feiran was giving the butler some instructions at the side.

"Alright, Mr. Bai."

Soon after, Ji Younai took a look at the shopping bags that had not been sorted out yet in the spacious closet. Not wanting to trouble Gong Siyu's servants, she decided to pack and sort them out herself. On the other hand, Liu Yun, who had come to join in the fun, followed Ji Younai's example and helped out.

"Liu Yun, where are your parents?"

She asked curiously while hanging up the clothes.

"I don't know, I was raised by my master. He said that I was adopted. My master was a fortune teller. He was the one who said that I am born to be the bane of others' existence. I'm full of fury, and even the ghosts are scared of me. He passed away a year ago, and our neighbors thought I was weird. They called me a demon and called the Ninth Asylum to get them to take me away. I was then locked up..."

Liu Yun spoke in an emotionless manner with a deadpan expression.

"They're really too much! Just like my aunt!"

Seemingly feeling angry for Liu Yun, Ji Younai ripped the tag off her clothes forcefully with a loud sound.

"Everyone dislikes me. Younai, you're the only one who thinks my eyes are beautiful."

Hearing his words, Ji Younai's long, thick eyelashes fluttered, and she suddenly leaned closer to Liu Yun, sizing up his scarlet eyes carefully with her enchanting almond-shaped eyes.

"They're really beautiful in the first place!"

-

Ji Younai and Liu Yun were tidying up in the closet while Gong Siyu was in the study on the other side of the corridor.

Bai Feiran handed a black briefcase to Gong Siyu.

"Young Master, here's the investigation results that you wanted. The files in the hospital are not complete. I sent more than 20 private investigators to investigate, and this is what they found. It's interesting."

Bai Feiran reported with a straight face.

Gong Siyu was seated on the superior-grade European-style leather swivel chair, holding a string of valuable Bodhi beads in his hand. He slowly opened the briefcase and skimmed through the document, ten lines at a time.

There was a gloomy luster of shock in his eyes.

His thin lips curled into an ambiguous grin and he gibed, "Wonderful, I didn't expect our Younai to have helped a rich man's son, who had become stranded in the common folks' world, escape! He has a strong background!"

With a loud sound, Gong Siyu slammed the stack of documents in his hand onto the table.

There was a line written in bold:

[Yue Liuyun, 20 years old, the heir of a military army, the youngest and favorite son of Old General Yue Chaoqun. He was kidnapped and disappeared when he was less than one year old. There was no longer any news of him since then, and the Yue Family gave up on looking for him at one point. Mrs. Yue became bedridden because of the disappearance of her son. To this day, she still has not recovered yet...]

Gong Siyu knew who the Yue Family was.

The entire Yue Family was full of famous generals, all of whom have made excellent accomplishments.

Old General Yue Chaoqun's sons were all holding high positions in various major military districts. They were either Chiefs-of-staff or young and promising Major Generals.

The Yue Family was a famous and powerful family in Beijing, which even the Gong Family had to show due respect to even though they were not on par with each other.

Gong Siyu stared at the investigation results on the table and seemed to have suddenly thought of something as his eyes glistened coldly.

"Bai Feiran, I heard that my father has allowed Gong Siyi to handle the business deal of a large number of arms for national defense?"

"Yes, Young Master."

"Hah, so Gong Siyi will definitely pull connections and look for a cooperative partner to forge stronger ties, so as to seek help from the Yue Family?"

"That's definitely the case, Young Master."

He disdainfully raised his slanted eyebrows that were reaching his temples. He sneered incessantly with a scheming look in his eyes.

"Go call Old General Yue and tell him that his youngest son whom he misses is in my home now. Tell him to come quickly and bring him home."

"Old Master Yue will definitely burst into tears of gratitude after reconciling with his youngest son who has gone missing for over a decade. Then, the Yue Family will be owing me a huge favor. I was just fretting and thinking about whether there's a scheming plan that I can use to take revenge on Gong Siyi for hiring an assassin to kill me. Yet, this great opportunity showed up. I snatch this deal from him and embarrass him in front of my father. He might be so infuriated that he would become paralyzed."

Gong Siyu chuckled sinisterly with an unwelcoming menace in his terrifying eyes.

After tidying up the closet, Ji Younai and Liu Yun wandered around the mansion.

She was looking for Gong Siyu, but she was too shy to ask the servants where he was.

Ji Younai felt that Gong Siyu's servants were all looking at her with hostile and unfriendly gazes.

While she was in a daze, Liu Yun, who was not far away, had already entered a random room without permission. He popped half his head out and called out to her.

"Younai, quickly come and take a look. This room is pink in color. It's pretty."

"Liu Yun, we can't just open the door and enter someone else's room."

Ji Younai quickly ran over to pull Liu Yun out, but she was also attracted to the pink-colored princess-themed room.

The room was spacious and clean. It was obvious that it had been cleaned thoroughly.

A faint scent of jasmine was spreading in the room.

There was a pink chiffon princess-themed fabric hanging on the four European-style bed pillars. The silk quilt had a snow-white background with pink polka dots, and there was a clear and glistening chandelier hanging on the ceiling in the center of the room. There were all sorts of facilities in the room that matched a theme, and they were obviously ostentatious.

It was rather dreamy, like a room that belonged to a princess.

Ji Younai saw a photo frame on the bedside cabinet.

Thinking that the person in the photograph should be the owner of the room, she gently picked it up and took a glance at it.

In the photo, the person was seated on a swing and smiling charmingly and radiantly. Her skin was as fair as snow, and her features were defined, resembling a Eurasian. However, she was also gorgeous and exquisite-looking, as if she had just walked out of a comic book. Her long, wavy chestnut-colored hair made her look just like a beautiful princess.

Ji Younai had never seen such a good-looking person in her life.

She heard Liu Yun's cold remark.

"Younai, stop looking, she's not as pretty or fair as you are."

"..."

"What are you two doing!?!"

An elderly lady suddenly entered the princess-themed bedroom and hollered at Ji Younai and Liu Yun.

She turned around in shock. She was Granny Yang who lived in Gong Siyu's home.

While eavesdropping once, Ji Younai heard that Granny Yang had lived in the Gong Family's residence for her entire life, and she was the one who took care of Gong Siyu ever since he was a child.

"I'm sorry... we... we..."

Ji Younai was frightened to the point of speaking incoherently as she quickly hid behind Liu Yun, finding Granny Yang's gaze terrifying.

"This is Ms. Wen's room! You can't just come in as you please! The two of you, get out!"

"Okay, we'll leave, don't be angry, Granny," Ji Younai said politely.

With a hostile expression, Liu Yun rolled his eyes and chimed in, "Yeah, simmer down. I heard that old people are prone to dying from cardiac arrests. It's terrifying."

"You two are really ill-mannered!"

Granny Yang was so enraged that she glared at them.

In particular, she pointed her finger at Ji Younai and said, "I'm warning you once more. You can't just enter Ms. Wen's room as you wish. If Young Master finds out, he will be angry!"

She continued, "Don't think that you're the mistress of this place just because Young Master Gong treats you well! Once Ms. Wen is back, there will be no place for you!"

After hearing her words, Ji Younai was really frustrated.
