Chapter 3

As I killed the black lightning beetle, two military personnels and a doctor came into the room, the doctor was holding an hexagonal gene vial

Gene vials vary in shape and size, but their main function was to absorb the gene of the monster and then inject it into the human body for fusion.

Fusing with a monster gene was very painful and the higher grade the monster was the more painful it will be to fuse with it , but due to advancement in technology there are some gene vials which can reduce the pain during fusing , but these gene vials are very expensive .

I was then taken to a white room and was Instructed to lie on a bed placed at the centre.

As I layed down on the bed I realized that the bed was a hundred times softer and more comfortable than the one at the apartment.

The doctor with the hexagonal gene vial entered and said "This is going to be your first gene fusion and you will feel a lot of pain and seeing as your body looks malnourished you might not be able to handle it but ..... "

I immediately responded without waiting for her to finish her sentence with "I can handle it"

She looked at me surprised as my quick response but only sighed and said "It's your body and if you want to endure such excrutiating pain then who am I to stop you"

She then took the gene vial and injected it in me at first I felt a cool and soothing feeling ,it felt as if all the cells in my body were being massaged

But then I started feeling an excrutiating pain I tried gnashing my teeth together to stop my self from shouting but to no avail

AAHHHHHHHHH I could feel my cells busting as the new monster genes starting entering, I shouted at the top of my lungs

But I suddenly felt my vision getting blurry everywhere was turning black and I lost conscienceness

I woke up in a room I could see a heart monitor beside me and as I tried to raise my head I heard the doctors voice and she said

"It's a good thing your awake but am afraid I have some bad news for you "

I started to think of anything that could be wrong but I thought of nothing , I was about to ask her what the bad news was when a man in military clothes entered and called for the doctor

Before the doctor left she said "Your fully healed up so you can leave"

I decided to take the bus home because I had an intense headache

When I reached my apartment as I opened the door a letter fell fr the door

I picked up the letter wondering who the letter was from , but as I turned the envelope there was no name on it

I was too tired to open it so I decided to open it when I wake up tomorrow

I slept like I've never before, I woke up at 8 am and I was shocked because I always woke up at 6 wether it was on weekend or not .

I was about to take a shower when I saw the envelope,I then decided to open it.

The letter read ; Hello klaus this is general Max I am the general who is in charge of you , I received a message from the generally who visited your school yesterday, and the news was shocking, the report said that you are an invalid and such the military has lost all interest in nurturing you any further and you will be needed to evacuate the house in the next 3 days but the military will leave you with a list of compensation: 500 star coins and a full scholarship for your upper category in the school.

I felt light headed after reading the letter ,my legs started feeling weak and I had to lean on the wall to remain standing I felt as if my entire life was crumbled .

I started feeling as if all my hard work In the past was for nothing, I tried my best to be number 1 , I always studied with the hope that I will get a high grade monster gene and then enter the army and then I'll work my way up to general rank then I'll retire and live happily.

But I just have to be a f*cking invalid and get all my dreams crushed ,and what do I get for working my ass of for 3 years only 500 star coins , being homeless and a scholarship .

I felt so down I couldn't think anymore the only thought that was flooding my head was suicide .

I started walking towards the door although my legs were wobling I had no choice but to leave this world but when I reached the top of the building and realized the building wasn't tall enough for me to be killed if I jumped of

I imediately started laughing "AAHHH EVEN HEAVEN DOESNT WANT THINGS TO GO MY WAY WHY THE F*CK AM I STILL ALIVE ? .... JUST TO SUFFER ? I AM STARTING TO FEEL LIKE AM JUST A TOY FOR GOD,ITS LIKE AM YOUR PLAY THING THAT YOU TOY WITH WHEN YOUR BORED" I started crying and laughing at the same time and it then started raining heavily as if to confirm that god was watching and wanted to show that am his play thing I then shouted "F*UCK U GOD I AM GOIN TO SHOW THAT I DONT NEED U OR THE F*CKING MILITARY TO BECOME GREAT , I PROMISE YOU GOD AM GONNA LEAVE HERE TODAY AND IN A MONTH TIME I WILL NOT BE THE SAME PERSON I AM NOW "

As soon as i finished talking lightning struck directly in front of me as if god was accepting my challenge.

I then stood up and walked to my room I packed my school bag and poured all my book away I then packed all my clothes which wasn't much I then kicked down the door and walked out in the pouring rain and went to a saloon

As I entered I could feel everyone's gaze on me as I entered the saloon with my clothes dripping.
