Curiosity killed the cat? Not really, it was just that the cat went into depression when he got cucked and accidentally saw it.

All of a sudden! She coughed a mouth full of blood and started to scream loudly in pain.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh"

She fell down from the table clutching her eyes while she kept on coughing blood. Her white hair was in tatters and there was blood splattered everywhere!

There was blood pouring out from her ears, eyes, nose, and also from her nails.

Just a second ago she was a jolly grandmother-like woman who looked quite beautiful especially for an old woman and now!

She now looked like a goblin! She kept on moaning in pain while her husband came to pick her up. Tears were welling up from his eyes also.

"Yemi! Yemi! What happened?!"

He kept on screaming but Yemi didn't reply. She looked at him with her eyes which were now hollow.

He saw her eyes black, totally abysmal! He also fell down and crawled up into a corner gasping for air!

He kept a hand on his chest and stared at the ugly old elvish woman. Her skin was heating up and turning black even her eyes were black! They were like as if someone had scooped it out or burned them horribly!

Then he saw that Yemi was writing something on the ground with her blackish-red blood. Then she slowly started to disintegrate, the old elf man hurried towards her to hold the fading Yemi.

Tears of blood came out of her eyes. It looked like as if she was able to recognize that her husband was near! At least she didn't die alone and had someone look over her when she died!

After a few seconds, she turned into dust only to be swept away.

He then saw what his wife had written on the ground and he started to cry as loud as he could. He was feeling angry! He was in total rage mode, he started to throw everything in the shop.

Crash!

Whoosh

Crash!

Artifacts that would have been worth a decent amount of money crashed into the ground in total tatters.

He then turned his gaze towards me, he looked into my eyes with a piercing glare. If his glare was a bullet then I would be killed a hundred times.

He ran like a monkey, totally crazy. He grabbed me by the shirt and slammed me into the nearby wall. That's what he thought he could do.

He came forward running like a monkey and tried to slam me into the wall, but before he did it I disappeared from his point of sight.

Ghost Phantasm!

First form: Ghostwalk!

I suddenly disappeared from his point of view, when using this technique the user would become invisible to the person looking at him but because I am not a fairy now and I can't handle high-level techniques in my current weak demon form, all the techniques of my prior life have a lot of strain on my body.

Basically for two seconds, although I was in front of him...he couldn't see me.

I crept to his back and stroked him with my first faith sword.

First Faith Sword!

PROPERTY OF PROVOCATION

Instantly he became angrier and lost his mind completely!

This way he actually became even more dangerous, I realized what a dumb mistake I had done but now I had no choice, I am wondering if I went crazy living with the stupid ugly bitch-ass humans.

This made one thing clear to me that I seriously need to review all my senses and techniques again!

As I just transmigrated or recovered my memories I hadn't trained in my fighting techniques and only concentrated on my cultivation.

This time I have a chance to become even stronger because I have no nihility divine restrictions that were placed on me as a fairy king!

At that moment the mad berserk elf released all his mana and broke through the chains of his old age. He was using his life force alongside his mana, this way he would die!

The air around him coiled up and combusted into flames!

Numerous fireballs and a raging fire appeared!

It was true! Fire element was indeed the most common element!

The entire interior of the shop burst into flames. It was hard to breathe, I quickly saw what Yemi had written on the ground before it would get charred.

??? ??? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?

Once again I saw the familiar symbols, although no symbol was the same I recognized them immediately because the style of those letters was the same!

I couldn't help but think that there was seriously a big mystery related to my reincarnation. I was sure of that no matter what!

Firstly, no one has ever reincarnated with a half mix of their previous life body and their current.

Secondly, my soul should have been destroyed and faded but it was still intact! The page..... just what was that?!

The blazing fire as hot as the sun was going to eat up everything and destroy me along with it. At that moment Alizejh stomped her foot on the ground.

Huge pressure was created and the entire fire got extinguished!

In the middle of it was the old male elf standing blankly. It looked like it was now brain dead and used up all of his life force.

Slowly he gained his consciousness and smiled wryly looking at Alizejh before turning into dust.

It seemed like all his life force was finished!

Well, that was anticlimactic...

Both of us were dumbfounded by what happened, it was simply just too quick to register into one's mind.

Both of us stared at each other for a few seconds, this was just too hard!

"What just happened?" She mustered up from her shock as she asked me.

Of course, I could see through her question, she was not feeling sorry for the couple and instead was curious more.

Brrr... that's cold!

I like it!

I couldn't help but shake my head in dismay.

"Are you still hiding something from me?" She asked curiously.

Of course, she must have suspected, if my fate wasn't big then the old elf grandma wouldn't have gotten a serious backlash.

Suddenly cold aura permeated into the air from my body, subconsciously.

My eyes looked inside her as if they were reading her soul. Her deepest and darkest secrets, all could be seen.

She suddenly felt that she was stripped naked though she was wearing clothes and couldn't help but break into a sweat when she saw the glare in my eyes.

It was the personification of death!

I slowly but calmly spoke, "Curiosity killed the cat."

I pointed at where the old elf woman had died when she tried to check on my fate.

Alizejh couldn't help but shudder, she understood by what I meant. This time she didn't even pout or show her childish ticks.

She knew that some things in the world are better not known.

I would tell her, yes, I would tell her eventually but now was not the time for that.

Trusting a woman?

That's not a thing I would do at least for a while. I am not that naive!

Women are fickle beings, they can never hold secrets.

Although I could feel that Alizejh was different and unlike the other women I still had to take precautions at least the current me had to.

I wasn't a ruler just in name after all, I had gone through all kinds of betrayals and experiences before, and all those experiences is the reason why I am the personification of what I am today.

The page and the weird runic symbolic letters on it.... is something that even I don't know if I am qualified to know.

If I am right then it's the essence of my being, how could I tell anyone about this? Right?

Just thinking about it makes fear embrace me, it's scary! I never wanna experience going into the abyss again.

Both of us walked out of the backdoor of the shop. It was very crowded, many people had come to see what had happened. It seemed like as if the old couple had quite the reputation in the black market.

We got out of the backdoor, I gave a last glance to the store.

It was charred totally black and was almost falling down. I kind of felt guilty because it was my first faith sword which lead to the falling apart of the store indirectly.

Also, I quite liked the old store because of its old smell. It's a pity for it to be turn out like this.

On our way back, we didn't talk about anything. We were still processing about what had happened.
