Chapter 347

When everyone was returning through the array Zack stayed behind. He asked for his aquatic partners to accompany him on the next task. They were unsure of his motives, but it wasn't a matter they needed convincing in.

Zack was racing through the water with the others trailing behind him. Mero was right on his tail, but he switched up the direction abruptly. The sharp turns were difficult for Mero to keep up with, but Shiro's group shined.

'I wonder what we're doing.' Anaya glanced at their surroundings.

Their race abruptly ended by the river leading to Eden. Zack ejected from the water landing on the beach triumphantly. Not long after landing Mero, and Shiro appeared at his side.

"I don't mind a little race but why bring us here?" Shiro investigated.

"Lately I don't see you that much," Zack stated.

"It's been getting better thanks to the waterways." Mero grabbed his arm.

"I'm looking for other ways to accommodate everyone," Zack replied.

"More personal time sounds good." Fuuka emerged with Lydia.

"That's what our house is for," Lydia sat on the shore gazing over the sea.

"It would be nice if you came by more often," Anaya told Zack.

"I agree." Mika rubbed her arm.

"At least you've gotten a chance." Kim sighed.

Zack was walking along the beach while discussing his plans. They moved far enough away from the tower to start building, but close enough for the guards to monitor. With a spot marked Zack started on a new community.

Inspired by his playtime with Helena he created beach homes. The bricks of sand were aesthetically pleasing but they also possessed a sturdy defense. In a matter of minutes, there was a set of luxury villas established with an array at the center.

With a town square designated Zack continued building outward. The influx of residents has continued to be steady, and Zack wanted to inspire a new community within their borders. Given the easy access to the city, and ocean it was a welcoming sight to their citizens from the sea.

"What did you need us for?" Lydia investigated.

"I wanted to draw our residents in with some recreational, and adult sections for guests. I need input from you girls on homes and accurate mating grounds." Zack announced.

"Showing you would be a lot easier," Kim whispered.

Kim pressed against Zack's arm firmly. The limb almost slid out between her breast, but she promptly seized it in place. Zack was enticed by her unique anatomy but fought the urges. If he gave in now under these circumstances work would never get done.

"We came here to work," Anaya told Kim.

'The voice of reason.' Zack smiled at Anaya.

Anaya slithered towards Zack and suggested small pools surrounded by bungalows. After installing a privacy wall Zack sprouted some vegetation for appearances. When completed the area resembled an open bath with a small route to the ocean.

They moved down the beach and started a new project in the shallows. The bungalows worked well for the semi aquatics, but not everyone enjoyed the landform. With this in mind, they created a district of partially submerged rooms.

This was designed to have suitable spots for mating in their natural state. When finished the bed above was suitable for both parties. It was out of the water for land-dwellers to rest, but close enough to allow their partners to keep their lower halves submerged.

"Think you could model my room in a similar fashion?" Kim requested.

"I'll take care of it tonight." Zack smiled.

"You're coming back?" Fuuka jumped on his back.

"You had a turn," Lydia stated.

"You act like we can't share. I know he can handle it." Fuuka's hands began to wander.

Shiro retrieved their nympho so the work could continue. They dove back into the sea as Anaya guided Zack on a market etched into the bedrock. He held her hand and sculpted it to her exact specifications.

'Holding his hand makes me feel safe.' Anaya gradually leaned her head against Zack's shoulder.

When they finished the stairwell leading to the entrance had large nagas trailing down the sides. Next to the entrance stood stone pillars with spell work etched at the base. It provided security and allowed the water levels to be adjusted within.

Inside they set up stalls in the front corners with a tavern in the center. In the back of the cavern was an auction house suitable for all species. This new market gave the citizens visiting from Atlantis incentives for business and pleasure.

Now that a suitable city stood before them Zack and company approached the array to bring some sentries over. While Zack was directing them to the proper areas Helena arrive with Aida. She looked around eagerly at the new area around her.

"Sorry for not asking first, but she really wanted to see you," Aida told Zack.

"I don't mind," Zack smiled.

'It's a good thing we went back to work.'

"Can we look around?" Helena requested.

"I still have a few things to build if you wanna help." Zack tussled her hair.

"Okay!" Helena smiled.

Sullivan was approaching the castle in Kirkwall with several attendants in tow. After losing his city this was the only place that would take him in. Escorting him into the palace was Roderick with a band of guards. Sullivan was explaining today's events hoping to find a solution.

"Who's watching the city now?" Roderick inquired.

"I'm not sure honestly. All I know is the King of Eden is behind this." Sullivan replied.

'It's those pesky sentries then.'

"Do you know why?" Roderick investigated.

"As far as I can tell it was a response to marauders attacking them. Even so, he can't get away with this." Sullivan clenched his fist.

'Those fucking idiots.' Roderick sighed.

"We can offer you sanctuary, but there's nothing else we can do. Your fate was sealed the minute those imbeciles attacked royalty. Just consider yourself lucky that you made it out with your life." Roderick stated.

This wasn't the response Sullivan was expecting, and he assumed Roderick was being dramatic. They barely entered Eliza's hall and could hear a servant being scolded. Sitting upon the throne was an older woman with long blonde hair parted down the middle and piercing blue eyes.

"You better have a good reason for interrupting my dinner." Eliza glared at Roderick.

They shared the story, and Eliza swept the stuff of her table. When Edward returned to Kirkwall he failed to share the events of the coronation. Queen Eliza still believed them to be on good terms with the other kingdoms, and it's why this news came as a shock.

"Someone go retrieve the lying little shit," Eliza demanded.
