Hundred & Twelve(112)

There were not that many of them on Earth but there were still enough to be called a race on Earth and due to their other colony on Olympia, they frequently leave the Earth so a powerful space station ruled by humans isn't exactly a good thing for them.

With that thought in mind, James got his attitude together and followed Gali out of the facility and portalled back to the office.

Meanwhile elsewhere, a group of people could be seen walking out of a private plane. Each of them wore uniforms that didn't seem ordinary but unfortunately, they were in Elysium. A place where all sorts of beings walked and lived together, with such a unique background. The group didn't look out of place as they found their way through the airport.

"Why are we here exactly, we don't need to meet with these humans to be able to leave the planet, Phastos can probably build us a cloaking device that can hide us from them in seconds" a slightly thinner man with a weird goatee said

"Shut it Druig, you may do all but never question the Prime Eternal" a blonde man said

"Of course, their 'protector' would speak up, think for once. Why are we here, they have nothing that could ever harm us" the one named Druig continued

"You said the same thing about them a few years back…. And then the nuclear bombs were introduced into the world, you are a walking jinx, Druig" the only female amongst them said

"You say it as though the bomb could affect our lifestyle in anyway" Druig continued

"Enough, we are here for protocol… simply because Phastos can create a device that allows us hide from their perception doesn't mean that it will protect us forever" The man in the lead said, he looked way much other compared to the other three(3)

"I may not like Druig but he does have a point, why are we here in Elysium when meeting with the United Nations would be a better choice"  the blonde man said

"That may be true if only Elysium wasn't the nation building the entire thing, To be a good leader, Ikaris, means to look past the facade presented for the public" the female said

"Thanks for clearifying that" Ikaris replied both sarcastically and seriously since he appreciated the answer but he didn't need to be treated as a child to get it.

With that, the group continued on their way. While walking, anyone could easily notice that the group still continued their argument with Druig being in the middle of it all. Despite how their views didn't align much, the group still stuck together as they made their way through the crowded airport.

Soon they found their dedicated welcome party which led them to a small convoy of cars which drove them to a hotel they could stay for now, before the meeting. While in the car, Druig continued his argument but shifted its focus to another topic but the main theme was to question why they needed help from the humans at all.

Several minutes after the cars started driving, it finally arrived at its location. The Central towers, they came out of the car and, led by some staff members, they were led into the tower's middle floors where they would stay until it was time for the meeting.

"Druig stop that!" Zuras shouted when he noticed one of the staff suddenly moving strangely

"Shame…. I thought you said that this country could suppress our abilities" Druig replied with a terribly smug grin on his face

"You are only free simply because Phastos made it so, I will not tolerate any behavi…. What's happening" Zuras said when he suddenly noticed that Druig's body was slowly turning to dust

It was an extremely slow process that even he wouldn't have noticed if not for his enhanced senses. He had known everyone here long enough to know that none of them had such abilities... Sersi does have such an ability but she wasn't here so Zuras was confused at first
