The search results took a little longer than the usual time. After a minute or so the results finally showed up on the screen.

Yin Yan Ritual

This ritual is used when the energy and protection level are to be elevated at a faster speed. This is the most complex process and success rates are low

This entire ritual details came as a massive shock for me. Although without knowing the actual process i could not conclude on why Ethan had suggested this which would cause death if the ritual failed.

The details presented on the screen was enough to bring jitters and I started shivering with fear. Ethan is a monster. How do I escape from him? I only read about monsters in fairy tales as a child but never in my dreams did I imagine I'll encounter one.

" How would I get out of this place. Even with just the lights turned on without the charging counter on , danger lurks just outside and I don't think I will stand a chance if I get out"

I could no longer hold back my emotions. All my efforts so far seemed to be a total failure.

"Will I ever get back?"

I felt like ending my life without surrendering to the circumstance. But I did not have the courage to take this drastic step. I feared death.

Ray, Mum, Dad. "Oh god ! Do I really have to endure all this? "

I had to let go off my fears. If this is my destiny then let it be so.

My hatred towards Ethan grew so much . I would have ripped him apart if I had cultivated the life skills which very few people were bestowed with in my home planet. It required a teacher with that rare skill who would choose his or her student to pass the skill on.

Unfortunately I was not one among the blessed one. And with us moving to earth even if there was a possibility of being chosen, that opportunity was lost.

My mind couldn't think any more. I turned off the tab. I must have sat there blankly for many hours, my mind in complete shocked and shut state. My stomach was growling but I just ignored. The headache was back. With tears silently flowing down not knowing when I will get off from all of this , hoping all this just was a dream , I finally fell asleep. Sleep was one thing that overcame my grief.

The next day when I woke up , I knew I had overslept but it did not concern me anymore that I had lost time. I felt like a zombie , no longer active like the previous day and was just thinking of my family back home. I wanted to talk to them and wanted to try communicating again.

I looked at the tab with one last hope to see if I could get any clue to communicate with Jason. With this I turned on the tab and uttered "Search" thrice to get to the search window and then gave a search command "Parallel universe communication"

The results flashed on the screen. I never expected any results to come out of this search. I had already had gotten into a viscous circle of problems and there was no hope. I looked at the details on the screen.

Trace the below tunnel pattern from right to left to initiate tunnelling. Once the channel is established, send your telepathic message to the intended recipient. Close the channel by tracing on pattern in reverse order to avoid message dissolving into the universe.

The pattern looked like a normal spring used inside a pen.

Although the method seemed simple the chances of the message going through seemed quite vague. I had to try it out. Did I have any other choice left?

Without wasting any further time I pulled out a note app and carefully drew the spring pattern and then I closed my eyes for some time to help calm me down and clear all the thoughts which was wandering in my mind.

My mind was in a mess at the moment with various thoughts going on in the back of my head and I had to control them to avoid any distraction during the telepathic communication.

I slowly opened my eyes once I felt calmer and as per the suggested method I traced the pattern backwards. Having closed my eyes again i started concentrating on Jason and started to send him the initial message to check if he could get my message.

" Jason , this is Rachael, your childhood friend. Can you hear me ? "

I repeated this message for a few times and then I could hear something which was not quite clear enough. I tried hard to concentrate and I thought I heard something like "What's up?"

I was not sure if my message had reached him, or was my mind playing tricks. I just hoped he did get my initial message and decided to send Jason messages in bits so he could sense the urgency, if he ever received the message.

" Ray , Dark Forces, urgent, danger, help, Rachael, Teleported"

I waited for some more time to see if I got any response, but I did not hear anything. I knew and I was absolutely sure that it had failed this time. But I still went ahead and closed the channel by tracing the pattern from left to right, hoping for a miracle.

The miracle , Rachael hoped for had occurred and Jason had received the complete message unknown to Rachael and was waiting for his dad to be back home from work. He was not sure on what he had sensed a while back and wanted to talk to his dad before coming to any conclusion. May be it was just his imagination.

While back on Zon, Rachael was casually going through all the other methods. She had almost lost hopes by now and decided to surrender to Ethan , while also planning to tell Ethan the monster on the danger her family is currently in. May be Ethan would finally realise.

Also she knew that she will be forced to go through the Yin Yan ritual, so with an open mind, she decided to finally look into that method.
