Chapter 7

After cleaning up the circle I took off on my bike to that park where the boys said to meet. I used my sharp hearing and eyesight to pinpoint if anyone was here prepared to ambush me or not but I didn't hear anything. And the trees whispered nobody arrived quite yet. So as I waited I realized....I was super hungry like a burning need deep in my throat.....I heard rustling in a bush the yard away and without meaning to, I let my instinct take over crouching on the balls of my feet. I sniffed the air and slowly crept forward carefulnot to give away my position to my prey. I kept creeping closer and closer until it's smell was right in front of me just behind the hedge in front of me....

My mouth starts to water as my teeth get sharper. I heard its heart speed up and I smelled the delicious sent of fear in its blood...I still, no breathing or movement, somehow it heard my last step...3...2...1...

I SPRING over the bush and I landed on the human girl.....wait!

Human? My eyes cleared as I looked at the little 6-7 year old oh shit! My fangs immediately retracted due to my shock and horror filled my features.... I started to freak out because I almost fed off another human...a little girl for that fact.....if I fed off of her then ill be more monster then human... Then I realized something else...Her head was turned at an odd angle and hear heart was slowing down rapidly... Horror grew worse deep within me because If I don't do something, anything in a matter of moments... This little  girl will die.
