Sup, my name is Brooklyn Decade....ugh, even my name is boring. Anyway, hi, I just wanted to tell you a bit about me.
I have a pretty normal life or what people claim to be normal. All my family members are still alive...except for my little sister. Her name was Adriana. She died when she was hit by a car. She was about three or four at that time. That was years ago though. Anyway, I get pretty decent grades, I have decent friends, and do decent things. I live in California, I live in a big but, friendly neighborhood. I kinda get bored with the same routine everyday. So, I have always wondered what it would be like to go out of routine for once. Still waiting for it to happen though.
A few more quick things about me you need to know is that I am 17 years old, I have a pet dog, but he's living with my aunt because my mom is "allergic," I'm quite popular with the ladies, and I am always looking for fun in one way shape or form. I think that's it.
-MORNING STARTS : PART 1 of CHAPTER 1-
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. "Goodnesses. Gracious." I say waking up and slamming down on the alarm. I shuffle my way over to the bathroom to start the shower so, it could warm up. Then I walk back over to my closet to pick out some clothes to wear. "Hey Alexa, play the waking up songs playlist!" I shouted. I think everyone should have a waking up songs playlist. Just some songs to give me life. Anyway, I pick out this black and green tie-dye hoodie, some black ripped jeans and some white and black vans. Oops the water is still on. I run over back to the bathroom making sure I grab a towel too.
-Fifth teen minutes later.-
I hop out of the shower and wrap the towel around my waist. I dry myself off once I was in the bedroom again. I fixed my hair cause it looked a blonde blob for a second. I put on my clothes and take up my glasses, my keys, and my contacts just in case. You would be surprised on how many times people broke my glasses when I wasn't looking. Finally, I picked up my backpack and headed downstairs. "Hey mom! Can you make me a sandwich?!" I ask while walking downstairs.
"No, you are a big boy now Brooks!"( A nickname my mom gave me)
"Fine. Looks like I won't be eating breakfast unless dad does it. DAD-" I was cut off by my mom.
"YOU CAN DO IT!" She yelled. Wow, when was the last time my mom yelled at me.
"I'll leave now. Toodles~" I say smiling and waving.
"Wait, Brooks! You have to eat something!" She shouted in a concerned tone of voice.
"Meh, I'm good. I'll grab something at the cafeteria during lunch." I say standing at the door.
"But-" She began saying.
"Bye, mom." I said in a stern voice. I walk out of the door and into my car. It's a Subaru out back that I got for my sixth-tenth birthday. It was green on the outside and black in the inside. I hop into my car and pull out of the driveway now on my way to school.
- twenty minute drive-
I got out of the car after I parked it in the parking lot. Once I walked to the building I open the door and I am automatically hit with a gust of cool air. "Jeez" I complained while shivering. Why is there cool air coming out when it's winter? Anyway, I was walking over to my locker when I heard. "Yo, Lyn!" He calls out. I walk over to where they are standing.
"Sup, Ethan! Did you get a life yet?"( Ethan is a buddy of mine who I believe is the same age as me but, is in a different class. He is a cool dude but can be a real airhead sometimes.)
"Lyn, sometimes you really hurt my feelings. You know that?" He says sniffing.
"Awwww, is the wittle babwy swad?" I say.
"Yes actually, the wittle babwy is swad." He frowns. I giggle.
"Well I have to go now. Bye." I say walking away to put my backpack in my locker.
"Yea, see you later." He says walking straight into someone. "Ouch! Sorry, are you okay?!" He asked. I start laughing and headed to my homeroom classroom. This doofus ran into someone who wasn't even moving.
-Five minutes-
I walk in the classroom and everyone freezes. The guys in the classroom continue what they are doing while the girls keep quiet and stare at me. The boys were obviously jealous.
"Hello, Mr Decade. Good Morning!" My teacher exclaims.
"Morning, Mrs. Thomas." I replied.
"OMG! He is handsome and polite. AAAAAA!" The girls screamed. Did I ever tell you about what I look like? No. Oops, here is a quick description of what I look like. I have two different colored eyes light green and brown, I have platinum blonde hair, I'm really pale. One time when I was 14 a kid thought I was dead. I wear glasses and sometimes contacts. That's what I look like. Anyway.. after I said hello I went to go sit down at my desk.
"I don't know why girls like you. To me you look like a dork." A girl that sat next to me said.
"Wow, Joelle. I think I'm a pretty good guy if I do say so myself." I bragged and winked at her.
"Eww." She said as she pretended to gag. I start to pretend to crying as I pick out my books for my first class. I felt Joelle's back on me. I think she was worried if I was actually crying. I turned my head back to her to show her I wasn't crying and she quickly turned her head back her face as red as a cherry. I start giggling and start stacking my books into something I can carry for three hours at least. Finally, the bell rang and the day started.
