Duality.

As Jin Tian finally calmed his excitement from seeing 'The World' in person, he looked back at Long Yu who was still trying to heal Qing Ying. He thought to himself, 'What should I do? Killing them would cause an investigation to be launched into their whereabouts by their sect and it wouldn't be long until they're pronounced dead. Judging from the infamous reputation of the Black Dragon Mercenaries, we would be the prime suspects. Letting them go isn't an option either as they've already seen too much. Well, there is a third option...'

Long Yu had long since landed back on the mountain with Qing Ying in his arms, feeding her pills in hopes of healing her. Although he had sent her to test Jin Tian's power, he had never anticipated that she would get this injured. Qing Ying was one of the many weaker female disciples that Long Yu managed to bed with his strength and good looks so if she went back to the sect injured, how could he still have enough face to flaunt his strength? This was why he was so desperate to heal her.

Jin Tian started strolling towards Long Yu in a relaxed fashion as 'The World' floated behind him like a knight guarding his king. His magnificent golden aura was still raging around him and his blond hair blew slowly in the wind, causing him to look like an emperor who had just descended from his throne to enact judgement upon evil.

Looking at Qing Ying then looking back at Jin Tian, Long Yu decided to cut his losses and threw Qing Ying far off to the side so that she wouldn't get in his way while he fought. Although face was extremely important to him, when it came to life and death, Long Yu knew which one to choose.

"You've defeated Qing Ying in less than a breath's worth of time but I wouldn't be beaten so easily-"

'The World. Time Stop.''

The environment around Jin Tian went mostly black and white as everything he could see was just...stopped. The self-righteous cultivator Long Yu stopped speaking with his mouth stuck half-open, Qing Ying laid on the ground staring at Long Yu with worry on her face, and even the flow of spirit energy in the atmosphere had stopped.

To Jin Tian, even though he had seen many magical things since he was reborn into this world, seeing the flow of time itself being stopped almost stumped him completely.

A wide smile, very different from his usual slight one appeared on his face. As it widened, it turned from an unusual smile into a devilishly wide grin, something that completely went against his nonchalant behavior.

Then, a feeling of...elation started to rear its head within him. Elation that came from the fact that he was in absolute control of this power once again. Elation, that came from the reality that he was in a world where power meant everything. A stark difference from the society he was in back on earth.

It was a chance to start anew. In this life, he wouldn't allow his emotions to get the better of him and cause him to make mistakes.

In this life, he wouldn't fail to destroy his enemies as soon as possible. Death wasn't an option the second time around.

'What the hell am I feeling? Happiness, anger, pride, and determination? No, it only makes sense for me to feel these things. I am...DIO? No, Jin Tian is my name...but these memories, these experiences...they're mine, aren't they? Since when did I have a sister? No, I had a sister...'

The souls of DIO and Jin Tian were in the process of merging properly at this moment so his memories were muddled. Usually, it should've been completed before he even reincarnated but it was probably an oversight by the God that sent him to this world.

The most probable explanation for why it started at this random moment was probably because he used 'The World.' This was an extremely important time for Jin Tian as it would either change him for the better...or the worse. Either way, a monster of epic proportions was about to be released into this world.

All of this happened within the span of ten seconds which already shown that he had surpassed the original DIO in strength. Even as his mind was going through this crisis though, there was one thing that both souls could agree on.

'Kill them.'

The World instantly moved and appeared in front of Long Yu in a flash. It pulled back its hands and formed a fist as its golden aura surged, showing that it was about to use its full power to execute its master's commands.

BOOM!

The World's massive fists pounded against Long Yu's unguarded body, each one breaking any bone or rupturing any organ in came in contact with. If Long Yu could feel these hits, he would be screaming in absolute despair and agony. The World then pulled back its fist and delivered one final blow to his chest area, crushing his heart while causing a gaping hole to open up.

It was a one-sided slaughter that Jin Tian would never be able to carry out by himself if he didn't stop time. After all, a seventh phase expert that was trained by such a prestigious sect wouldn't have gone down this easily if he could fight back.

The World then instantly flashed over to Qing Ying who was still laying on the ground and delivered one full-powered punch to her head, decimating her skull/brain on impact. It then went back and stood behind Jin Tian menacingly, its fists covered with blood.

The most amazing part of that slaughter was the fact that it took place in about two seconds. Such power is just completely overbearing.

'Time Resumes.'

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Loud booming sounds rang out in the atmosphere as the sound from every blow that was delivered to Long Yu and Qing Ying all played out at once. Long Yu didn't have time to scream as his life was forfeit before he even knew it. Qing Ying wasn't fairing any better either. Long Yu's body flew back like a kite cut from its string as it fell off the mountain, causing his blood to spill everywhere and attract beasts who were lurking around the area.

'Tch. Since his body flew so far back, retrieving him would be a useless endeavor. I'll just leave them here...no...that would be reckless. Turning the woman into a zombie and sending her back to her sect would be the simplest way to avoid suspicion. But before that...'

Jin Tian just simply sat down in the sunset to get his thoughts together. If he continued like this, it would only cause problems in the future. The entire reason that 'The World' even used so much power against the two cultivators was that he wasn't in complete control of it. If he was, they still would've died, but their bodies would've been in much more 'salvageable' conditions.

About 30 minutes later, the sun finally set, and the full moon displayed itself in the clear night sky. Jin Tian still sat on the ground with his eyes closed as the process was extremely slow. To add on to his struggle, he still had to keep the spirit of vengeance suppressed before it got out of control and 'judged' whoever it liked. It was just a disaster waiting to happen.

[Two days later]

Jin Tian got up from the ground and opened his golden eyes, causing them to send a solar beam of energy piercing through the clouds. An evil purple aura floated around his body which caused every beast in a 5-mile radius to scamper away in fear. The carcasses of numerous dead beasts were scattered around him as they had tried to eat Qing Ying's body over the past few days, but 'The World' crushed each of them.

As he stood there, a small wicked grin appeared on his face as he muttered a strange word under his breath.

"Wryyy...."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

A/N: WRYYYYY! is a vampiric cry from Jojo. It would've sounded way more cringe if I had him shout it out. For those who like the reference, I'll use it a bit more but for those who don't; don't worry, I probably wouldn't use it more than five times in this ff.

-Paces are a common term that the Chinese use to indicate distances in writing. I'll end up using it later because I want to at least keep a bit of the Chinese feel. Same with the term 'breaths' which is used to measure time.

-The reason I took so long to update was that I had to rethink a part of my MC's powers and I had a hard time finding a replacement. Again though, don't worry, you wouldn't even notice a change.
