Like My Father

Seeing everyone was way too happy, I think something must be going on here. My sister smiled as I make my way kissed her on the cheek and I shook my brother-in-law's hand.

"So what going on here? I'm sensing there's a joy here," I asked.

My sister looked at me and grabbed my hand.

"Mu Kang, I'm pregnant, so you're going to be an uncle next year," She smiled.

"What?! Sister! Congratulations!" I exclaimed as I pulled her into an embrace.

"Thank you, little brother," She said.

I reached over and gave my brother-in-law, Yuan Shuai a light hug.

"Congratulations, brother. Wait, I thought you guys were going to wait a couple of years?" I asked.

"Yes, we did. But it happened earlier than we planned, so we couldn't be happier than this," Yuan Shuai smiled.

I turned to my father, who was grinning from ear to ear. All excitement and joy showed on his handsome face.
