At 6 p.m., inside the NBC skyscraper.
A young journalist was looking at an elderly Caucasian man, his face ashen.
Opposite him was the CEO of NBC, a true heavyweight in the United States media industry.
"Why didn't you cut the broadcast then?" the old man asked sharply. "Don't you know the rules of the news industry?"
The young journalist hung his head low and inwardly cursed his luck.
He had already directed the cameraman away from the disturbance to film the basketball star, Ewing.
But who could have anticipated that Ewing, holding a torch, would walk right into the heart of the chaos?
Everything had happened much too fast...
A young vice president watched the journalist and weighed the pros and cons in his mind.
Since his arrival from Viacom, the NBC executives hadn't shown him much respect.
If he couldn't even protect the news department trying to curry favor with him, the work he would have to do at NBC in the future would become much harder.
