"My princess" the maid called Liz who she found facing the open window backing anyone that walked into her room.
"The ball dance training will start in a minute, the king, your father; said you can attend the training lesson" the maid said and hesitated to leave. "My Lord said to tell you that if you do not obey this orders, he will kill me" and with that Liz about-turned and followed her.
She went down the hall and reached the point where maids and maidservants were restricted. The maid she was following left her to join her co-workers, while Liz walked on to the ball dance training room.
"Liz" "Liz"
She listened.
"Liz" "Liz" the whisper was becoming loud now. "Liz, it's me".
She halted and looked around but saw no one but the whisper continued.
"Liz!"
She surveyed the area and walked towards the voice until she found herself almost at the gateway exit.
It was then she remembered her father's order that the maid would die by him if she wasn't present at the ball dance training. She quickly walked back on her track.
Minding her business and walking steadily, she approached the room, but just then a squeezed paper rolled to her feet. She quickly picked it and opened it.
Surprisingly, she read Spencer telling her to meet him at the stable ASAP.
She flew to the stable in search of Spencer.
"Liz"the voice was faint.
"Spencer" she turned.
They hugged each other for what felt like forever.
"You've gotta go" Liz remembered her father's oath.
"But I'm here Liz" he said confused.
"You don't understand. They want your life" she explained.
"Liz... I won't leave here without you" he said.
"How...how did you find me?" She asked, both still holding each other.
"I researched, I looked for all the Rhyndorust and their location. I did all I could till I found you" he said and they hugged again.
"Spencer you must go but I'll miss you" she wept.
They could hear indistinct noises of guards approaching them now.
"Come with me" Spencer held on.
Liz listened to his request, looking at his hands on hers and then to his appealing face.
She had to make up her mind. She swallowed, looked at his eyes then turned to look at the visible guards now.
She had to make her choice fast and now. Either to stay in this tormenting house or go with Spencer and find a future with this wonderful lad.
