The Forbidden Forest

Third Person P.O.V.

The moment Hermione and Harry left it the rest of them to go recollect themselves. But it wasn't long before more of the Inquisitorial Squad members come into Umbridge's office. Which wasn't much when Thalia and Percy just walk in taking most of them out. It was shocking to see Asteria just mutter under her breath as she pulls out her wand from her hair. All of them took out the members before rushing outside to find them.

They all seem to have gotten to Harry and Hermione, who both had blood dripping down their head, in time. It was an odd number of people surrounding them and more than the number of people who got caught.

"So," said Ron, pushing aside a low-hanging branch and holding out Harry's wand, "had any ideas?"

"I have one," Percy says cheerfully.

"And what would that be?" Asteria says

"We could fly there," Percy says.

Asteria facepalms at his comment. Thalia freezes up as well. Harry was confused at why she seems to have been off about flying.

"That's a stupid idea. Thalia is afraid of heights and you can't be in the sky, not when we don't know about what's going on," Asteria says

"I wouldn't have said it if I didn't have a solution to that problem," Percy says pointing to a herd of pegasuses, landing near them.

Beside Asteria and Thalia, the others were shocked to see a pegasus in the Forbidden Forest. It was unnatural, to say the least.

"Well, we need three," said Hermione, who was still looking a little shaken, but determined just the same.

"Four, Hermione," said Ginny, scowling.

"But there's eight of us," Percy says.

"Don't be stupid, we can't all go!" said Harry angrily. "Look, you five" — he pointed at Asteria, Thalia, Percy, Ginny, and Luna — "you're not involved in this, you're not —"

They burst into more protests. His scar gave another, more painful, twinge. Every moment they delayed was precious; he did not have time to argue.

"Look, Percy is the one who can communicate to the pegasuses and could get us there faster," Asteria said. "And it would be safer to bring all of us instead of just you three."

Asteria motions at the golden trio and did what most of the others were thinking. She walks over to the herd of pegasuses. One was a sleek white that trots over to her and let her stroke its hair. It wasn't long after that the girl pulls herself onto the pegasus back and was sitting proudly for her accomplishment.

Harry was the one that sighs heavily as if it was no way of persuading any one of them to stay behind. With everything that was going on what was he supposed to expect to fall back and do nothing. No, he didn't.

"Fine, but with everything going on I want you all to stay close by," Harry said firmly as he walks towards one of the pegasuses.

Percy smiles as Thalia continues to take deep breathes to calm herself. Every one of them began to get onto a pegasus, with Percy being behind Harry.
