(Erren Pov)
I woke up in the middle of the night to see the girl before was not behind me. I don't really care where she runs off to anyway. I get up feeling groggy as hell and slowly draw my ass over to take a piss in the woods. After I finish freeing my bladder, I start to head back to sleep when I hear a voice. Curious, I walk over to the sound.
I widen my eyes in shock to see a beautiful blue glowing lake with white flowers. The full moon's light bounces off of the water and flowers creating a surreal view. There in the middle of the lake is the girl standing on a tiny piece of land in the water surrounded by white flowers. The realization strikes me that it was her singing a song that drew me here. The song is in her language and she sings it with such painful emotion that it almost hurts to listen. Tears begin to stream down her eyes as she just continues to pour out her heart. I want to turn away because of this nagging pain in my chest, but I can't. My body, my soul, my very being is stuck gazing at this lonesome girl. I don't know what the words mean, but I can tell it's a song of sorrow and pain so strong you could drown in it.
The song comes to its end and the girl drops to her knees wiping away the tears that soaked her cheeks. She looks to the moon smiling. Her eyes slowly close as if remembering a fond memory and she starts to laugh a sweet cheerful laugh. This girl who just 2 seconds ago sang a song of such sorrow, a song of such grief, a song of such pain, was laughing. This girl who just 2 seconds ago cried out a river of tears looked as if the world was such a beautiful place. For some odd reason I wanted to walk out in the open and hold her tight to my body, but my pride wouldn't allow it.
So...
I turned around...
and went back to sleep...
It was just a dream. It was just ... a DREAM?
I told myself this until I fell asleep.
