"Foolish woman, I wasn't talking to you," the man replied, appearing a bit impatient.

"Oh?" Luan raised an eyebrow, but before he could act, Ingrid held his hand and gave him a reassuring smile.

"I'll handle this." It had been a while since her last fight, and she was starting to miss beating someone up.

"Alright." Luan smiled at her and took a step back. After a brief moment of reflection, he nodded his head.

However, as simple as it seemed, as soon as he did that, mysterious laws appeared at the location, completely isolating them. It was as if they had been transported to a different place, as the people around disappeared, but the buildings and streets remained the same.

When this happened, the man was overwhelmed by disbelief; it was hard to believe that the man he had underestimated could achieve such a feat.
