Aviana has always wondered if the place she lived in was too good to be true, and though while others took advantage of it she just cherished it. That was one of the many reasons that set her apart from the others. After all she was just your average kind of girl, there wasn't really anything special about her.....
Or was there?...
It was just another evening in the village of Farstar. Aviana stepped outside of her house hoping something interesting would happen today.
Little did she know, in a couple days her whole life was going to change.
Aviana was walking along side of the path, gently kicking pebbles off the bumpy yet smooth road, not caring where they would end up.
She soon comes across an old man tripping over one of the pebbles she had recently kicked.
She quickly panicked but was able to catch the old man before he hit the ground thanks to her quick reflexes.
"S-sorry!.. That was my bad!.. I was kicking pebbles and you just happened to trip over one of them.." Aviana apologized to the old man, sympathy evidently blooming in her eyes as she did so.
"I can assure you that it's completely fine." the old man gave her a gentle smile "What's a young girl like you doing out here on your own?" The old man asked as he tilted his head slightly.
"Just talking a stroll around, I couldn't be cooped up all day, heh.." Aviana said, starting to get slightly nervous as she let out a nervous chuckle.
"Well I'm going to be off now. I have things to do." The old man said, ignoring her nervousness. "Be careful... A girl like you shouldn't be out here all alone." The old man warned her.
And with one reassuring tap on the shoulder, the old man left.
He was actually quite right. Aviana didn't really have anything to defend herself with if she needed to. She, unlike the rest of the people here, didn't develop her ability yet. She was starting to question if she even had any in the first place... Was she just going to be a normal mundane? Was her village going to abandon her just because she hadn't developed her ability yet? Did she already have an ability but just doesn't know it yet? So many thoughts were running through Aviana's head after the old man left off.
She soon found herself lost in her train of thought until the cracking of a branch she stepped on brought her back to reality. She looked around and realized that she had no idea where she was. She was officially lost.
"Great just great" Aviana mumbled under breath, clearly irritated.
This was truly a bad situation for Aviana. She didn't know where she was anymore, what should she do? how does she get back? Questions filled her mind as she started to slightly stress out, but she made her best attempt to stay calm in this situation.
To make matters worse, the sun was going down, which would result in Aviana being alone in the darkness which would be harder for her to find her way back so she needed to act fast.
All Aviana could do was hope that she was still somewhere in the village and not outside the boarder.
Why? you may ask, because outside the boarder held things that we're unspoken of in farstar.. things that people would rather leave a mystery, all Ariana knew is that it held great magical creatures and beings, both possibly good and bad. No one ever ventured as far as outside the border as the risks were too high, and the fear of the unknown were rising.
Aviana just kept walking forward not knowing what else to do in this situation, but soon regretted her choice.
Aviana had just stumbled upon what seems to be some sort of trap set up. And of course her being her clumsy self, ended up setting off this trap.
The sounds of ropes tightening and a sudden yelp was heard.

So there she was... Upside down hanging off a tree. Could this get any worse for the young lady?...
Oh yes.
Yes it can.
