"Remember when I first woke up in your tower and I was so eager to kill you?" Tashina rang out as she looked down at her husband who was laying on her lap.
They were still in their room, cherishing the last moments they had with each other before the guards finished packing up her things into the car.
"Of course, I do. You were so tiny yet so fierce and it was just a flicker of my little finger that knocked you down," Xavier laughed and she felt at ease to hear his deep chuckles once again.
"Yes, I remember despising you so much then that all I wanted to do was to run away from you, and now? I can't even leave you for a second," she shook her head in amusement.
Xavier turned his head so his face was facing her stomach. He caressed her belly lovingly before he placed a small kiss above her dress.
"You be a good kid to your mother," he murmured and she kept her fingers entangled in his hair.
