"T-Tashina," Xavier's eyes widened as he looked down at her.
Tashina inched forward, the smell of his blood driving her crazy and making her feel sick at the same time.
'Blood!' 'Give me blood!!'
The voice in her head was ten times more powerful than the last time she heard it. Her stomach churned as she was pushed forward against her will.
'He is my husband!' Tashina snapped back in her head as tears slipped out of her eyes.
"Tashina, breathe. You can do this, think clearly," Xavier's soothing voice rang into her ears but the beast in her tore it apart.
"R-Run, r-run," Tashina cracked out as her hand reached out for his neck.
Her body and mind were at parallel edges and she feared she would harm him if it continued this way but Xavier wasn't budging.
He kept his arms tight around her and stared down at her with determination in his blue eyes.
"I will not leave you. You must resist it," he shook his head.
