A Prep Talk For Her To Get Up

"Okay, I want you to look up now," Ren pulled Tashina from his embrace gently.

Her vision was blurred due to the tears in her eyes and she felt his hand holding onto her face as he wiped her tears dry.

"I want you to know that you shouldn't be hating yourself, rather you should hate and blame the monster inside you which isn't you," he said with his stern green eyes.

"And you shouldn't be so hard on yourself for making just a slip-up only after a week of coming here. You're a warrior and you know that before a soldier can wield a sword, he will have to have thousands of scars on his body and fall down so many times before he can be a true fighter,"

"You've only fallen once but you're unwilling to get up despite so many people around you cheering you on and putting their faith in you,"

Tashina sniffed as she listened to his words.
