Chapter 8: Blue dyed hair guy came in the scene

Nathaniel sighed, "There is something I want to talk about..."

Putting the cup on the table, I looked at Nathaniel. Nathaniel looked at me, finding the words he could say.

"You are the woman that I want, the woman that I love but…" Nathaniel averted his gaze, he glanced down. "but you are not the woman that I need.."

I feel a lump on my throat from what Nathaniel said. "What do you mean?"

Nathaniel bit his lower lip, holding his tears looking at me. "I'm breaking up with you.."

Open-mouthed, I couldn't find the words. Tears welled up in the corner of my eyes and let out a disbelief laugh, "After all these --"

"Yes, I'm breaking up with you" Nathaniel repeatedly said, not looking at me. He wipes his tears and stood up from his seat.

"Goodbye.." Nathaniel said, leaving me.

"And cut!"

"Can we get a playback of what we shot?" the director said.

In the camera, a preview of the scene that I just shot with Nathaniel.

"Wow," the director, clapping his hands "Wow, Daphne. Seems that you act naturally around a male lead. Saw the improvements in our rehearsal, good job. Have a 2-minute break and we'll be back"

I stood up from my seat and wiped my tears. Even though, it was an act. I felt so emotional.

"You're welcome" it was Nathaniel. "Why are you crying? Is—"

"Just felt emotional for my character"

Nathaniel smiled at me, "Anyway, I'm going back to my trailer and drink." Nathaniel said and went to his trailer.

"You did great!" he added. I looked at him as he goes back to his trailer, "why I suddenly felt emotional because of you, Nathaniel?"

A makeup artist came to me and retouched my makeup, "You're so emotional there, miss Summer" I smiled, "I just felt the character"

After I was retouched, I took my phone out of my pockets and in my peripheral vision, I saw a blue with a teal haired guy, a dyed hair guy. I took a glance and he is wearing a yellow and blue stripe oversize shirt that matches his pants. His eyes landed on me, he noticed that I'm looking at him that I averted my gaze. I went back to the set and saw the blue with a teal dyed haired guy, standing behind the director looking at me.

"This is Mr. Flynn. He is the second male lead in this film" the dyed haired guy beamed everyone a smile, his eyes landed on me and give me a wink.

Did he just...

I averted my gaze as if I didn't saw it and listen to the director, I hate it when guys flirt.

"He'll be playing as Cameron in this film," The director said.

He stood up "Nice meeting you everyone, I'm Aaron Flynn" and shake each supporting actor's hand and shake Nathaniel's hand and then...

He is in front of me, he reaches out his hand and I smile back at him, shaking his hand. I don't know why he shakes my hand almost 7 seconds now and he is not pulling away. I looked at him, "Nice to meet you, Miss Summer" and wink. He casually moves to other actors and shakes their hands. How did he know me?

The world is sometimes unfair, some people knew you but you don't know them.

"Oh, Mr. Clayton. I almost forgot that you have an interview tomorrow afternoon. You don't need to come for a shoot with miss Summer. Her and Mr. Flynn had the scene tomorrow" wait, with... With this dyed-haired guy? Tomorrow? My heart isn't prepared for this.

I'm just kidding.

But tomorrow seems sudden. I look at the blue-haired guy from the corner of my eyes, without turning my head. He seems to notice me and wave at me, how could guys casually do that?

After the meeting, I went back to the set to have another scene for the film. Filming a scene in a day isn't only one but two or three, it depends. I saw Nathaniel, glancing down and his eyebrows furrowed.

"Are you okay?"Nathaniel looks up and his expression changes, he smiled. "Yeah"

The filming of the scenes today ended and Mr. Smith was sick and couldn't get me home so Nathaniel offered, "Do your best tomorrow with that creek"

"Creek?" I asked, "from trolls?"

"Uh... Mr. Creek Flynn? Yeah. He is the living creek from trolls. " I laughed at his remark. He referred to the blue with a teal haired guy as creek from trolls. I looked at him, his eyes on the road.

"What?" he asked.

"Nothing, I just.."

"You just what? You just realized that you love me?"

I shake my head in amusement and looked at the distance, I couldn't get off my mind of what Nathaniel is thinking earlier. His mood change as he saw that blue with a teal haired guy.

He halted the car and I noticed I'm already in front of the condominium.

"Thank you," I said, hopping off his car.

"Goodnight and watch my interview tomorrow" I heard him said. I halted my tracks, walking, "Goodnight, jerk" and slowly turned around, "and.." I paused.

"I don't know if I would watch a jerk's interview tomorrow, can't promise that" and he let out a laugh. He smiled, shaking his head out of amusement, "I know you would watch it, Daphne." and drove off.
