'A handful of courage'

Yun can't believe what just happened.

His hands had somehow blocked the sword which was drenched with the blood of his comrade soldiers, which had stopped just before his face-

Stopping his heart, his hopes, his senses- all for a moment. But, he was still breathing with all his strength suddenly grasping the hand which was holding the blood-drenched sword.

Yun suddenly felt something. His other hand moved and stricked the attacker's hand with such a 'Thud' that the sword fell off from his hands, making a metallic sound which seemed to echo down the darkness of the forest in the moment.

But, he didn't commanded his hands to do this-

He wondered that was his own reflex or a game of puppetry. But, whatever it was, it saved him. And though RSK didn't knew that who he is facing, it was stricking back to the attacker.

Suddenly, a blow of rushing wind blew past his face- and in just a quarter of a second, a stricking fist appeared like a strike of lightening- almost shocking RSK enough to freak out for a moment.

But, this time- RSK had a little predictable consciousness of his new bodily strength, and he immediately dodged passed the lightening fist, which now had made it's user end up in a bitterly off-gaurded position enough to make Yun use of the advantage of his mobility.

RSK gathered some courage, which was an immediate result of his newly gained confidence towards his evaluation of the martial skills he seemed to have, and in the spilt second, his hands were touching the face broken neck of the attacker to the ground.

Indeed, a terrible blow had landed upon the attacker, seemingly unbelievable for the young and the bitterly shocked soul, which now seemed to have faced some overpowered skills hidden deep into the fog of Yun's pseudo-unwillingness to violence.

Well, on the other hand, the latter was more shocked than the fallen attacker, who can't make sure what just happened was done by him.

Between all these stormwinds of thoughts breaking here and there in Yun's mind, He came near the seemingly paralyzed dark figure fallen down to the ground, which had a veiled face with it's closed eyes covered with a fluid in the dark, seemingly blood which now seemed to have found its way out of the blow which stroked its owner out of senses.

As Yun closed in, some more sounds came drizzling towards the other three standing souls which immediately became alerted and uncovered their swords, which reflected a golden light over their surroundings; seemingly from the firetorches lit beside the meeting point, though it was no good to make the three know from where the sounds were coming from.

In the next second, a wave of slashing swords appeared at the brink of their views, almost catching Yun out gaurded.

Clang!

The swords were deflected by Yun.

He had grasped the fallen attacker's sword, and was standing firm against the several swords of the vanishing attackers.

In the next moment-

The clashing swords started clanging into the darkness of the night as the other three joined the heat of the skirmish-

While Dai fu rushed in towards the attackers slashing his battle-axe, Zhang caught hold of one attacker's torso- throwing him down straight to the ground with a thud.

On the other hand, Yun rushed in towards help Zhao- She was still standing without a flick on her enigmatic eyes; while a bunch of attackers rushed towards her with their blood-thirsty swords.

Yun closed his eyes for once as he reached next to Zhao, hoping he can deter the attackers from hurting her.

Little the attackers or Yun knew what she can do, or what level of expertise she had in dealing with this type of situation.

Within a split of a moment, the three suddenly fell down with a successive 'cold' thud following there fall.

Yun was shocked.

What the hell happened to the three?

He didn't do anything...

Yun slowly moved his eyes towards Zhao as a shine glared past his eyes from her side-

She was enigmatic as before, but something was strange with her hands. Looking more closely, Yun realized it was a prostethicalized crossbow, which she had kept hidden all this while- from Yun's and of course, from the attacker's eyes.

Yun was amazed, he wondered if there was something more to be shocked of the enigmatic situations he was facing one by one.

All of a sudden, Zhao turned and put her crossbow towards Yun's head freezing the poor soul out of him. He was caught in such a situation that his wits stopped working, better to say he was so absorbed in the moment that his mind became blank in a split second.

Click!

His eyes closed as his ears heard the click of the crossbow trigger unwinding the crossbow string with a hissing sound-

Swisssss...!

The sound went past his ears, stricking something behind him.

Thud!

Yun turned as the sound flew past him, which was actually the crossbow bolt flying past his ears and stricking the attacker behind him.

The Attacker fell, with the ultimate coldness letting him die without a sound from his mouth.

Yun turned back, and gave a look on Zhao's face, which looked more colder than the night sky with her smile.

But that smile was enough to melt Yun's mind out of it's frozen stance and status, which finally tickled his senses back to his hands.

As Yun's stare went next to Zhao's face, he saw a bunch of another veiled warriors appearing out of the darkness.

"Look out!", Yun cried as he sprung out his sword with such a speed that it's sound seemed to deafen Yun himself for a moment, but ending up on cutting off the attackers with it's final blows.

He had killed them all.

Though the 'Death' and 'Horrors' had struck him hard this time again and again- He was now used to it.

The Night dampened the fight, and with a moment of chaos, all things came to an equilibrium as the number of attackers fell down by exponential manner.

Some either ran, or got wounded badly on the ground.

And some, Died.

But, each and every of them where Elites for sure.

Elites enough to dare attack on the Four while they are all together.
