Anna reached home and it was already past lunch time. Lucian was as usual giving instructions to Jeremy on the phone.

Anna narrated what happened and about her meeting to Mia.

"I think I can trust her." Anna said and Lucian nodded.

"Don't worry. Nothing can go wrong as long as I'm here." He said and Anna hugged him. She knew. He was her biggest support. She closed her eyes and sniffed his scent.

But as she closed her eyes Dominic's face started to fill her thoughts.

Anna snapped her eyes open and her breathing became heavier.

Lucian, who was hugging her grabbed her chin and made her look up.

"What happened?" Lucian has felt her heart rate increase. And he knew exactly it wasn't because of their hug.
