She can't believe this was the reality of her life.
Rosalie scoffed loudly at her own thoughts and Edwin's eyes darkened looking at her.
"You think I'm a bad person. But I'm still better than you. At Least I'm true to what I am. Not like you, who has done all the bad things one could do and then still present herself as a victim." This time it was Edwin who scoffed.
"You were always like this, just like your mother. Always conflicted and behaves like a victim but on the other hand is all evil and cruel." One corner of Edwin's lips rose. Rosalie looked at him with a dark face.
She stood up from a chair and started to leave the room.
"Is the truth bitter?" Edwin taunted her.
"Isn't it because of you? I would have turned out different if you had given some attention to me as a father. Few talks and lessons about this cruel and power-hungry life would have been enough to shape me better." Rosalie spat the words without looking back and left.
