The Kidnaping

"W-what happened that night…was my mistake," Katie said from gritted teeth.

"C-can we f-forget about livi…."

"Shhhh…" Lucian put his finger on her lips and stopped her from speaking any further.

"You admitted your mistake and that's all. No discussion now," Lucian didn't give any chance to Katie to speak anymore.

"But for now you are coming with me," Lucian said and then turned around to find Clumsy standing at the doorsteps of the cottage.

"We are living now," he looked at Clumsy and spoke. The dazed boy instantly understood and started to run. Lucian took Katie's hand and followed him. Behind a few trees was a parked carriage.

They set in and set off for Lucian's manor. In the end, he didn't even let her pack any of her clothes or things of necessity. 

Lucian wanted her back with him now, he didn't want to think about anything else. Like Katie who was afraid and uncertain, he was too. But his concerns were a bit different than Katie
