Unexpected Arrival

She started to walk towards the back forest. Her eyes looked around so as not to get caught by anyone as she walked towards the forest with cat steps.

'May be they appointed a new batch of maids,' Katie thought in her head.

'Yes, that makes more sense,'

'But there are already enough people in the manor. There is no need to hire more,'

'And why would they send girls to the forest where there is nothing but a broken shed. It was certainly not appropriate place to keep the maids,'

As her steps padded on the dirt puddles she was having conversations with herself in her head.

Splash!

The land has turned muddy and there were water puddles everywhere. With lack of light it was hard to but Katie kept walking on her instinct.

Maybe it was her boredom or something else but she really felt curious about why butler Reed visited that empty shed and what girls they were talking about.
