Chapter 1

"You were supposed to marry me, Kai!" Jack yelled, frustration lacing his voice at the idea of the planning for the most grandeur wedding with his fiancé was going to be wasted. All because of some whore who couldn't keep her legs shut.

"I am so sorry my love, but-" Kai tried to salvage whatever part of their relationship was left. However, Jack cut him off, throwing away the hands that Kai had tried to grab him with and beginning to laugh hysterically.

"But nothing Kai! How hard is it to keep your dick in your pants?!" Jack's pitch and volume increased exponentially with each word that fell out of his mouth. At this point, he would not have been surprised if the neighbors across the street had heard him. He wished for God to hear him, to be him know that whatever prank he was playing, was not funny.

Kai tried to open his mouth to formulate some sort of reason to go through with the wedding because after all, he still wanted to marry Jack. Kai wanted to be forever attached to the love of his life, but the bitch who had seduced him was now coming in-between them and ruining everything he had worked so hard to achieve with Jack. He hated every moment of this fight, knowing full well that it would be their last as a couple. Every second spent yelling at each other, was a second that they could have spent cuddling and figuring out what shade of purple they wanted the bridesmaids to wear.

"You know what, " Jack screeched, reaching the peak of his vocal range, "Keep the fucking ring Kai, I thought we could grow old together!" Jack began to furiously rip the find off of his finger, almost taking the finger with it, when Kai tried to reach for him again. "Don't even think about touching me with your grubby little hands!" a vein began to pop out of Jack's neck as he viciously there the band across the room, managing to hit a vase and knock it over, shattering it.

Funny, Jack chuckled to himself, just like his world. He smacked his palm to his forehead, almost dumbfounded at how oblivious he could be. But he was over it. Over the way Kai came home late almost every night, over the way he smelled of freshly sprayed cologne when he did come home. When, in fact, Jack knew that the cologne wore off at the end of the day. Over the way their shared bank account, only meant for bills and expenses concerning the house, decreased $300 every Friday night, and Kai not mentioning the vanishing money at all.

However, now that he had thought about it, the nice receptionist wasn't as innocent as he had originally thought. He had found suspicion in the way she always wanted to have very long sit-down conversations with him whenever he came to the company. Always wanting to know how his family was and if they had decided whether or not to adopt. Jack guessed she was giving her boss enough time to clean himself up and look presentable whilst shooing the whore out of his office.

He was still in a state of disbelief, waiting for Kai to say anything. Call him a clown, but Jack had loved Kai and was ready and willing to spend the rest of his life with him. That's why he had said yes to the proposal in the first place.

But now, everything was ruined, what was he expecting in the first place? Many of his friends had told him that Kai was a prolific cheater and that he had been cheating on his last girlfriend with Jack. He'll, Jack had only found tho out when she had stepped to him read to fight, screaming about how he 'stole her man.' But this is what he deserved for not listening to second opinions. $30,000 down the drain and not a single wedding bell in sight.

Jack was gearing up for war, he was going to beat the bitches head through the flooring beneath them so she could get a good taste of what it felt like to mess with a ringed man. Speaking of the ring, Kai had hurriedly scrambled across the room to find it, and hopefully, with much luck and persuasion, put it back onto Jack's finger. Kai was hoping to go home with Jack and pretend that none of this had ever happened.

As Kai was diving for the ring, Jack shot his hand forward and, with a monstrous grip, pulled the saggy bitch back by her hair extensions. Before she could scream, with his other hand, he gave her one good Louisville slugger to the temple, and she was knocked out. Jack heard Kai gasp and turned around, he watched Kai with disgust, wondering what he could have ever seen in him, and walked out of the office planning on heading to the elevator. However, when he looked back, Kai was hot on his heels.

This made Jack reconsider his decision about the elevator and instead bolted for the stairs. Running through twists and turns, avoiding confused employees, and almost hitting two walls, he threw open the door to the emergency stairwell. This set off the fire alarms, causing frightened people to cascade down the stairs like elephants in an enclosed space. Jack, knowing that this would make it harder for Kai to spot him, melded with the crowd and began running with them.

Jack felt like he was flying down those stairs, he didn;t mind all of the people that were running next to him. He wanted to get as far away from Kai as humanly possible, he wanted to go to a place where he hoped Kai would never be able to find him. During his decent, Jack had thought up a plan to get as far away from Kai as was needed.

Bursting from the back door the stairs had led to, Jack made a run for his car that was almost on the other side of the parking lot, he had wanted to have a little 'break' in his car before everything had happened. Jack shoved his hand into his pocket, frantically looking for his keys. Just as the jangling from the slim pieces of metal reached his ears, he heard Kai calling out to him.

"Jack wait, please, let me explain!" He shouted over the still panicing crowd. Jack rolled his eyes, how could you explain be litterally balls deep in someone? How could you make yourself look good in that situation? In that moment, he had miraculously gotten his keys into the door handle and had managed to unlock and open it.

"There is nothing you could possibly say to make me change my mind Kai," Jack yelled over his shoulder, not even sparing the time to look back at Kai, "I saw you and that whore!" He finally got in, closing and locking the door behind him before starting the engine.

Before he could pull out though, Kai had somehow caught up with him and had throen himself onto the hood of Jack's car to prevent him from leaving the parking lot. At this point, all the employees were looking at them. Wondering why their boss was strewn across the hood of his fiance's car. Jack, however, didn't care. He wanted to be gone and at home packing his things as soon as possible right now, and Kai was the only thing keeping that from happenong. Jack pressed his toe on the gas pedal, giving it enough to jerk forward, but not enough to go anywhere. Kai slipped a little begore finding the crook in between the bottom of the windshield and the start of the hood to hold on to.

"Jack continued to do this until Kai eventually yelled out, "Alright! Alright, I'll get down, but you have to promise to let me explain!" Jack stopped and waited for a moment before nodding his head, knowing Kai wouldn't gp anywhere unless he promised.

Kai slowly got off of the hood and began to make his way to the driver side window. Jack waited for him to get to the window before he lifted his foot from the brake pedal and stomped the gas pedal to the floor. His tires squeaked and slipped against the ground for a few seconds, before finally finding their bearings and propelling the car out of the parking lot. Barely missing any of the pedestrians and employess that were still straggling. Wanting to be the first to get the scoop about the two lovers.

It wasn't until Jack had merged onto the freeway that he noticed his tears. They were blurring up his vision and were beginning to become a hazard while he was in the fast lane. Jack had never felt this discombobulated, he had never felt like his whole life was going to come crashing down if he even spoke one word.

Everything was coming back to him.The memories and all the times they had shared, resurfaced in his head, they made him want to turn back around and go back to Kai and apologize for the way he had just left him. But with every good mempry, came two more bad memories. Memories of the newly engaged couple fighting, memories of when Kai first started coming home late, and he had used the excuse that it was just a little extra overtime. Back then, Jack had believed him, but with every use of that same old excuse, and Kai cominghome with lipstick on his collar that one night, Jack had felt a very bad feeling arise in his gut.

It felt like denial at first, and then it quickly became jealousy, and what was jealousy breeded hatred. Jack had wanted to keep it in for the sake of his family and because maybe he was just imagining things. Kai would never hurt him like that, never abandon him for some disease infested bitch who couldn't spell her own name even when asked. But he had. He had hurt Jack exactly like that, he had left him alone and feeling abandoned for some infected bitch who was dumber than a sack of rocks.
