Doomsday

Sphere laboratory…

The Daleks have landed and are trundling across the floor, "Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

"Daleks! You're called Daleks. I know your name. Think about it how can I know that? A human who knows about the Daleks and the Time War. If you want to know how, then keep us alive. That's all I'm asking. Me and my friends." Rose said, looking at the Daleks.

"Homura, Kyoko, I'm fine." Jared said, looking back at the two magical girls. "I've got a plan."

"What will you be doing?" Kyoko asked, taking out a Pocky.

"Just wait and see what happens. I already rigged up my Augma so I can communicate with a version of Madoka through it." Jared said, as the four Daleks have a contraption behind them.

"You rigged up a version of Madoka Kaname on it." Homura said. "That exists as an AI. The Madoka that I knew."

"Commence awakening. The Genesis Ark must be protected above all else." Black Dalek said.

"The Daleks. You said they were all dead." Mickey said.

"Never mind that. What the hell's a Genesis Ark?" Rose asked.

Yvonne's office…

"What's down there? They were in that room with the sphere. What's happened to Rose and Jared?" Jackie asked.

"I don't know. I'll find her. I brought you here, I'll get you both out, you and your daughter. Jackie, look at me. Look at me. I promise you. I give you my word." The Doctor said.

"Karen, we've got to go." Miyu said, getting a phone call from Jared through her Augma. "Like now. We're leaving, girlfriend."

"Why?" Karen asked.

"Apparently the fanboy doesn't want to lose us." Miyu said, and Karen grabbed her hand, for the two to teleport away. "Let's get going."

The Doctor puts on his 3D spectacles.

"Cybermen now occupy every land mass on this planet, but you need not fear. Cybermen will remove fear. Cybermen will remove sex and class and colour and creed. You will become identical. You will become like us." The Cyberleader said, on TV, as there are panic stations.

The army sets up roadblocks and tries shooting at the Cybermen. A bazooka blows a Cyberman to bits. London burns.

"I ordered surrender." The Cyber Leader said.

"They're not taking instructions. Don't you understand? You're on every street, you're in their homes, you've got their children! Of course they're going to fight." The Doctor said.

Sphere laboratory…

"So, Yui." Jared said, looking over at the sprite sitting on his shoulder. "It's been a while."

"It has." Yui said, smiling.

"Did you call for help?"

"I did." Yui said, and someone appeared in the room, that being Sayaka Miki. "There she is."

"You called?" Sayaka asked, looking over at Yui. "You said that Homura and Kyoko were here."

"They were a couple of minutes ago. And so was LLENN and Fukaziroh."

"Where did they go?"

"Home." Jared said, looking at Sayaka. "That's where."

"You sent them home. All of them. And you wanted me and Yui here."

"Of course. Yui is like my favorite artificial intelligence. And you're my second favorite magical girl."

"And who's the first?"

"Madoka." Jared said, looking over to see Rajesh kneeling with his back to the Black Dalek.

"She's the Law of Cycles. She's beyond what makes a magical girl, a magical girl."

"Yeah, well, I can give you a certain amount of intelligence but nothing that will compromise Homeland security." Rajesh said.

"Speech is not necessary. We will extract brainwaves." Black Dalek said.

Three Dalek sink plungers envelop Rajesh's head.

"Don't I I'll tell you everything you need. No. No!" Rajesh said, screaming.

"So, Daleks and Cybermen." Sayaka said, looking at Jared. "How do we take them out?"

"Daleks. Aim for the eyestalk. Cybermen, electromagnetic pulse or make them emotional again." Jared said, smirking.

"That's it? There's nothing else?"

"Sontarans, back of the neck. Vashta Nerada, run, just run."

The dry, dusty and rapidly aged corpse of Rajesh drops to the floor.

"His mind spoke of a second species invading Earth infected by the superstition of ghosts." Black Dalek said.

"You didn't need to kill him!" Rose said, angrily.

"Neither did we need him alive." Dalek 3 said.

"Dalek Thay, investigate outside." Black Dalek said.

"I obey." Dalek 2 said.

"These Daleks look different from each other." Sayaka said, looking at each of the 4 Daleks. "You said that Kyoko is back home."

"She is." Jared said, as each Dalek has a slightly different logo by its eyestalk.

"Then why do I know that she's still here."

"Establish visual contact. Lower communications barrier." The Black Dalek said, and a big viewscreen appears where the sphere had been.

"Yui, get us both point of views." Jared said, looking at Yui.

"Right." Yui said, closing her eyes and opened them, for the images coming from the Dalek and Cybermen to appear on Jared's Augma. "Got it up."

"Got what up?" Sayaka asked, as Jared tossed her an Augma headband. "What's this?"

"Put it on."

Yvonne's office…

"Identify yourselves." Dalek 2 said, on the laptop.

Sphere laboratory…

"You will identify first." A Cyberman said, on the view screen.

Yvonne's office…

"State your identity." Dalek 2 said, on the laptop.

Corridor…

"You will identify first." The Cyberman said.

"Identify!" Dalek 2 said.

Sphere laboratory…

"I never thought I would see two machines talk like that." Sayaka said, laughing a little.

"Really?" Jared asked. "It's like how Alexa would talk to Siri."

"It's like Stephen Hawking meets the Speaking Clock." Mickey said.

Corridor…

"That answer is…" The Cyberman said. "...and illogical. You will modify."

"Daleks do not take orders." Dalek 2 said.

"You have identified as Daleks."

Sphere laboratory…

"Outline resembles the inferior species known as Cybermen." The Black Dalek said.

Yvonne's office…

"Oh, Jared." Kyoko said, getting a call from her Augma headset. "What's wrong? Tell me."

"The Daleks are one of the Top 10 things I'm terrified of." Jared said, his voice coming out of her Augma. "Sayaka told me that you were still here."

"Damn that girl."

"Phone!" The Doctor said, angrily.

"We followed in the wake of your sphere." The Cyberman said, as the Doctor phones Rose.

Sphere laboratory…

"Long range scans confirm the presence of crude cybernetic constructs on worldwide scale." The Black Dalek said, and Rose answers her phone.

Yvonne's office…

"She's answered. And so has Jared, apparently. Since he's talking with Kyoko, who barged in here. They're alive. Why haven't they killed them?" The Doctor asked.

"Well, don't complain!" Jackie said, annoyed.

"They must need them for something." The Doctor said.

Sphere laboratory…

"We must protect the Genesis Ark." Dalek 3 said.

Yvonne's office…

"The Genesis Ark?" The Doctor asked.

"Our species our similar, though your design is inelegant." The Cyberman said, on the laptop.

The Doctor looks at the scene on the laptop through his 3D spectacles.

"They're not normal." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "What are they up to?"

Corridor…

"Daleks have no concept of elegance." Dalek 2 said.

"This is obvious. But consider, our technologies are compatible." The Cyberman said.

Yvonne's office…

"Cybermen plus Daleks." The Cyberman said, on the laptop.

Corridor…

"Together, we could upgrade the Universe." The Cyberman said.

"You propose an alliance?" Dalek 2 asked.

Yvonne's office…

"This is correct." The Cyberman said, on the laptop.

Corridor...

"Request denied." Dalek 2 said.

The Cybermen ready their weapons.

"Hostile elements will be deleted." The Cyberman said.

They shoot at the Dalek.

"Exterminate!" Dalek 2 said.

Dalek 2, Cybermen 0.

Yvonne's office…

"Open visual link." The Cyber Leader said.

Sphere laboratory…

"Daleks, be warned. You have declared war upon the Cybermen." The Cyber Leader said, on the view screen.

Yvonne's office…

"This is not war. This is pest control." The Black Dalek said, on the laptop.

"We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?" The Cyber Leader asked.

Sphere laboratory...

"Four." The Black Dalek said.

"You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks?" The Cyber Leader asked, on the view screen.

"We would destroy the Cybermen with one Dalek."

Yvonne's office...

"You are superior in only one respect." The Black Dalek said, on the laptop.

"What is that?" The Cyber Leader asked.

Sphere laboratory...

"You are better at dying. Raise communications barrier!" The Black Dalek said.

"Sandshoes." Jared said, spotting the Doctor and Homura behind the CyberLeader just before the viewscreen goes blank. "And Homura. Man, I love those two."

"Not so much for Homura." Sayaka said, frowning. "She ruined everything. Don't know how we got out of that one. Now what?"

Yvonne's office...

"Lost them." The Doctor said.

Sphere laboratory...

"Rewind image by nine rells. Identify grid seven gamma frame. This male registers as enemy." Dalek 3 said. "And this female also registers as an enemy."

"The male and female's heart beats have increased." The Black Dalek said.

"Yup, they have." Jared said, laughing a lot. "Oh boy, you're in for some trouble."

"Identify them."

"Well, if you really want to know, Daleks." Sayaka said, walking up to the Black Dalek. "That man in the suit is the Doctor. And that woman is Homura Akemi, the woman who recreated the universe. Well, the universe that Madoka Kaname also recreated where witches that were of magical girls no longer exists."

The Black Dalek rolls back a bit.

"Five million Cybermen, easy. One Doctor? And two magical girls with one devil in close range from here? Now you're scared." Rose said.

Yvonne's office…

"Quarantine the Sphere chamber. Start emergency upgrading. Begin with these personnel." The Cyber Leader said.

The Cybermen take Yvonne, Jackie, and Kyoko.

"No, you can't do this! We surrendered! We surrendered!" Yvonne said, angrily.

"These two. Their increased adrenaline suggests that they have vital Dalek information." The Cyber Leader said, looking between the Doctor and Homura.

"Stop them! I don't want to go! You promised me! You gave me your word!" Jackie said, terrified.

"Damn it, getting upgraded by some Cybermen." Kyoko said, walking behind Jackie. "They don't even know I'm not human anymore."

Sphere laboratory…

The victorious Dalek returns.

"Cyber threat irrelevant. Concentrate on the Genesis Ark." Dalek 2 said.

The Genesis Ark is a Dalek shaped copper container.

"Why are we being kept alive?" Mickey asked.

"They might need us." Rose said.

"What? What is it?"

Unoccupied floor…

Beyond the plastic sheets, sparks fly and people scream.

"What happens in there? What's upgrading mean? What do they do?" Jackie asked.

"Well, they remove the brain, and they put it into a suit of armor. That's what the Cybermen are. They're what we become." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "They do that because, they believe it's right. That's so wrong!"

"And you're a magical girl." Yvonne said, looking at Kyoko. "Something we tried to analyze for a while. Your souls are put into Soul Gems, and your bodies are just vessels now."

"This is your fault. You and your Torchwood. You've killed us all!" Jackie said, angrily.

Yvonne is taken away, "I did my duty for Queen and Country. I did my duty. I did my duty. Oh, God. I did my duty."

Yvonne walks forward. Sparks fly and she screams.

"There she goes." Kyoko said, holding Jackie's hand. "What an idiot."

Yvonne's office...

"You are proof." The Cyber Leader said.

"Of what?" The Doctor asked.

"That emotions destroy you."

"Yeah, I am. Mind you, I quite like hope. Hope's a good emotion. And here it comes."

"So do I." Homura said, taking out her gun when a group of black-clad commandoes pop into existence and take out the remaining Cybermen in the Lever room. "They took a while."

"You knew they were coming." The Doctor said, as the CyberLeader walks out of the office and gets zapped too. It's head explodes. "The Devil to Madoka's God."

"Doctor? Good to see you again." Jake said.

"Jake?" The Doctor asked.

"The Cybermen came through from one world to another, and so did we."

Unoccupied floor...

Jackie is being dragged forward, "No! No!"

"Jackie, resist it." Kyoko said, looking at Jackie. "Don't forget what makes you human!"

"You're the one who's no longer human." Jackie said, as she and Kyoko sneak away while the Cybermen communicate.

"I will be upgraded to CyberLeader." Cyberman 1 said.

"That was close." Kyoko said, her spear in her hand. "Too close."

Jackie and Kyoko run into the stairwell and heads down.

Lever room…

The Doctor has been using his 3D spectacles again.

"Defend this room. Chrissie, monitor communications. Kill one CyberLeader and they just download into another. Move!" Jake said, and the commandoes run off.

"You can't just, just, just hop from one world to another. You can't." The Doctor said.

"We just did. With these." Jake said, taking out large yellow medallions on chains around their necks.

"Dimension hopper." Homura said, as Jake throws one to the Doctor and another to her. "One that lets us to another dimension by will."

"But that's impossible. You can't have this sort of technology. Only Jared has the technology capable of that." The Doctor said.

"We've got our own version of Torchwood. They developed it. Do you want to come and see?" Jake asked, pressing his own button.

"No!" The Doctor said, vanishing, along with Jake and Homura.

Parallel Torchwood…

"This place is a wreck." Homura said, looking around.

"Parallel Earth, parallel Torchwood. Except we found out what the Institute was doing and the People's Republic took control." Jake said.

"I've got to get back. Rose is in danger, and her mother. " The Doctor said.

"That'd be Jackie. My wife in a parallel universe. And as for you, Doctor, at least this time I know who you are." Pete said.

"Right, yes, fine, hooray. But I've got to get back, right now."

"No, you're not in charge here. This is our world, not yours. And you're going to listen for once."

Sphere laboratory…

"We could high tail it out of here." Sayaka said, looking at Jared.

"Why would we do that?" Jared asked, leaning against the wall.

"Because we can. And you do want to stop by Akihabara later."

"Stop it."

"Just to read some manga and get some merchandise."

"True. And eating some food with Kyoko too. Maybe see μ's."

"Well, I can't think what the Daleks need with me. I'm nothing to them." Mickey said.

"You could be. Whatever's inside that Ark is waking up, and I've seen this happen before." Rose said, remembering her meeting with the chained last Dalek. "The first time I saw a Dalek, it was broken. It was dying. But I touched it. The moment I did that, I brought it back to life. As the Doctor said, when you travel in time in the Tardis, you soak up all this background radiation. It's harmless. It's just there. But in the Time War, the Daleks evolved so they could use it as a power supply."

"I love it when you talk technical." Mickey said, happily.

"Shut up. If the Daleks have got something inside that thing, and it needs waking up."

"They need you and Jared."

"You've travelled in time. Either one of us four would do."

"But why would they build something they can't open themselves?"

"The technology is stolen. The Ark is not of Dalek design." Black Dalek said.

"Then who built it?" Rose asked.

"The Time Lords. This is all that survives of their Home World."

"What's inside?"

"The future."

Parallel Torchwood…

"When you left this world, you warned us there'd be more Cybermen. So we sealed them inside the factories." Pete said.

"Except people argued. Said they were living. We should help them." Jake said.

"And the debate went on. But all that time, the Cybermen made plans. Infiltrated this version of Torchwood, mapped themselves onto your world, and then vanished."

"Well, when was this?" Homura asked.

"Three years ago." Pete said.

"It's taken them three years to cross the void, but we can pop to and fro in a second. Must be the sheer mass of five million Cybermen crossing all at once." The Doctor said.

"Yeah, Mickey said you'd rattle off that sort of stuff."

"So, where is Mickey Smith?" Homura asked.

"He went ahead first. Any chance to go and find Miss Rose Tyler."

"She's your daughter. You do know that? Did Mickey explain?" The Doctor asked.

"She's not mine. She's the child of a dead man. Look at it, a world of peace. They're calling this The Golden Age." Pete said.

"Who's the President now?"

"A woman called Harriet Jones."

"Oof. I'd keep an eye on her."

"But it's a lie. Temperatures have risen by two degrees in the past six months. The ice caps are melting. They're saying all this is going to be flooded. That's not just global warming, is it?"

"No, it isn't just global warming." Homura said, looking at Pete. "It's the breach between our world and your world."

"I've been trying to tell you. Travel between parallel worlds is impossible. Then the Daleks break down the walls with a Sphere." The Doctor said.

"Daleks?" Pete asked.

"Then the Cybermen travelled across, then you lot. Those discs. Every time you jump from one reality to another, you rip a hole in the universe. This planet is starting to boil. Keep going and both worlds will fall into the Void."

"But you can stop it? The famous Doctor. You can seal the breach?"

"Leaving five million Cybermen stranded on our Earth." The Doctor said, looking over at Homura.

"That's your problem. I'm protecting this world, and this world only." Pete said.

"Hmm. Pete Tyler. I knew you when you were dead. Now here you are, fighting the fight alone. There is a chance, back on our world, Jackie Tyler might still be alive."

"My wife died."

"Her husband died. Good match."

"There's more important things at stake. Doctor, help us."

"What, close the breach? Stop the Cybermen? Defeat the Daleks? Do you believe I can do that?"

"Yes."

"Maybe that's all I need. Off we go, then!"

Lever room…

The Doctor, Jake, Pete, and Homura appear.

"First of all, I need to make a phone call. You don't mind?" The Doctor asked.

"You two, guard to door." Jake said.

Stairwell…

"Damn it, we had to get into this situation." Kyoko said, grabbing Jackie's phone, answering the call, put it on speaker mode.

"Oh, my God, help us." Jackie said, grabbing the phone from Kyoko.

Yvonne's office…

"Jackie, you're alive with Kyoko. Listen." The Doctor said.

"They tried to download us but we ran away!" Jackie said, terrified.

"Shush. Listen, tell me. Where are you?"

Stairwell…

"I don't know. Staircase." Jackie said.

"Yeah, that doesn't really help him." Kyoko said, not out of breath yet. "We have to be more specific."

Yvonne's office...

"Kyoko's right, that doesn't help. Is there any sort of sign? Anything to identify it?" The Doctor asked.

"Yes, a fire extinguisher." Jackie said, her voice over the phone.

"Kyoko, can you be a bit helpful?" Homura asked. "Because Jackie isn't helpful at all."

Stairwell…

"We're at the north corner of the building. The third staircase there." Kyoko said, looking at the sign that says N3. "Hurry, because Jackie is still in shock."

Yvonne's office…

"Got it." Homura said, looking at the Doctor. "Let's get moving."

"Just keep low, we're trying our best." The Doctor said, agreeing with Homura.

Stairwell…

"No, don't leave us." Jackie said.

Yvonne's office…

"We've got to go. We're sorry." The Doctor said, putting the phone down. "Jacqueline Andrea Suzette Tyler."

"She's not my wife." Pete said.

"I was at the wedding. You got her name wrong. Now then, Jakey boy, if I can open up the bonding chamber on this thing, it'll work on polycarbite."

"What's polycarbite?" Jake asked.

"Skin of a Dalek."

Corridor..

"This idea won't work." Homura said, letting out a sigh.

A piece of A4 paper on a pointer is waved from around the corner.

"Sorry. No white flag. I only had a sheet of A4. Same difference." The Doctor said.

"Do you surrender?" A Cyberman asked.

"We surrender unto you. A very good idea."

(Jared's POV)

Sphere laboratory…

"These Daleks looks like they're doing a summoning." Sayaka said, when the four Daleks disconnect from the Ark. "A bad one at that."

"Obviously." I said, taking out my dual swords from my backpack. "I don't like this."

"Neither do I. Since when were you into school idols?"

"For like a while."

"You never brought it up. The whole time I knew you."

"You only met me today."

"Actually, I've known you for a long time. You haven't really met me yet."

"All right! You're going to kill us anyway, so what the hell? If you er, escaped the Time War, don't you want to know what happened?" Rose asked.

"Place your hand…" The Black Dalek said.

"What happened to the Emperor?"

"The Emperor survived?"

"Till he met me. Because if these are going to be my last words, then you're going to listen. I met the Emperor, and I took the Time Vortex and I pulled it into his head and turned him into dust. Do you get that? The God of all Daleks, and I destroyed him. Ha!"

"You will be exterminated!"

The Doctor is wearing his 3D spectacles again, "Oh now, hold on, wait a minute."

"Hey." I said, looking at Homura.

"Hi." Homura said, entering the room. "You two look like you're close."

"Sayaka and I have this wavelength. That I have with Yang."

"Getting along with the two girls with similar personalities to you. It's not like I expected much."

"What would you expect from him?" Sayaka asked. "If you cared…"

"If I cared...what?"

"Good. And Mickity McMickey. Nice to see you!" The Doctor said, happily.

"And you, boss." Mickey said.

"Social interaction will cease!" A Dalek said.

"How did you survive the Time War?" The Black Dalek asked.

"By fighting. On the front line. I was there at the fall of Arcadia. Someday I might even come to terms with that. But you lot ran away!" The Doctor said.

"We had to survive."

"The last four Daleks in existence. So what's so special about you?"

"Doctor, they've got names. I mean, Daleks don't have names, do they? One of them said they…" Rose said.

"I am Dalek Thay." A Dalek said.

"Dalek Sek." The Black Dalek said.

"Dalek Jast." Dalek 3 said.

"Dalek Caan." Dalek 2 said.

"So that's it! At last. The Cult of Skaro. I thought you were just a legend." The Doctor said.

"Who are they?" Rose asked.

"A secret order above and beyond the Emperor himself. Their job was to imagine, think as the enemy thinks. Even dared to have names. All to find new ways of killing."

"But that thing, they said it was yours. I mean, Time Lords. They built it. What does it do?" Mickey asked.

"I don't know. Never seen it before."

"But it's Time Lord." Rose said.

"The Daleks and the Time Lords kept secrets from each other." Homura said, walking towards Rose. "Like how the Incubators kept secrets from us magical girls. For their own gain."

"Especially if it involves Madoka." Sayaka said, agreeing with Homura.

"I just can't stand by and watch someone get hurt." I said, grabbing Sayaka's hand. "So, what is it? What have you done that's so important? I already know what, but the Doctor doesn't."

"Time Lord science will restore Dalek supremacy." The Black Dalek said.

"What does that mean? What sort of Time Lord science? What do you mean?" The Doctor asked.

"They said one touch from a time traveller will wake it up." Rose said.

"Technology using the one thing a Dalek can't do. Touch. Sealed inside your casing. Not feeling anything ever, from birth to death, locked inside a cold metal cage. Unlike a magical girl whose bodies are merely vessels, while their actual essence are trapped within a Soul Gem. You're completely alone. That explains your voice. No wonder you scream."

"The Doctor will open the Ark!" The Black Dalek said, angrily.

"The Doctor will not."

"You have no way of resisting."

"Well, you got me there. Although there is always this."

"A sonic probe?"

"That's screwdriver."

"It is harmless."

"Oh, yes. Harmless is just the word. That's why I like it. Doesn't kill, doesn't wound, doesn't maim. But I'll tell you what it does do. It is very good at opening doors." The Doctor said, and the door to the laboratory blows in.

"Not much fighting today." Sayaka said, when Jake and a Cyberman entered the room with all guns blazing.

"This is more of a sad episode really." I said, aiming my dual pistols at the Dalek, releasing bullets out of it. "Even if I find it slow at times."

"You're enjoying this."

"Got to enjoy it while I still can."

Rose stumbles. Pete and Homura helps her up.

"Come on." Pete said, as Mickey dives for his big gun.

"Daleks will be deleted. Delete. Delete." A Cyberman said.

"Mickey, come on!" Rose said, annoyed.

"Adapt to weaponry." Dalek 3 said.

"Fire power restored!" The Black Dalek said, killing a Cyberman.

"What an idiot." Sayaka said, when Mickey gets jostled and he puts out his hand to steady himself. "He's gonna touch it."

"And he touched it." Homura said, when Mickey's hand touched the Ark.

"It's a good thing." I said, as Mickey and Jake joined the Doctor, Rose, Pete, Homura, Sayaka, and I at an emergency blast door. "A really good thing, girls."

"Cybermen primary target." The Black Dalek said.

Corridor…

The Doctor closes the blast door, "Jake, check the stairwell. The rest of you, come on."

"You really don't know how we met." Sayaka said, looking at me. "All of us in person."

"Why would I?" I asked, holding Sayaka's hand.

"The six of us saw the whole of time and space together. And you don't know what adventures we were on."

"Wait, when was this?"

"I just fell, I didn't mean it!" Mickey said.

"Mickey, without us, they'd have opened it by force. To do that, they'd have blown up the sun. You've done us a favour. Now, run!" The Doctor said.

Corridor 2…

"This way." Kyoko said, as she and Jackie are trapped between two squads of Cybermen on the stairs.

"You're not being helpful." Jackie said, leading Kyoko into a hallway to meet two more Cybermen.

"Crap."

"You will be upgraded." A Cyberman said.

"No, but you can't. Please." Jackie said, as the Cybermen are shot down from behind by Homura. "Pete?"

"Hello, Jacks." Pete said.

"I said there were ghosts, but that's not fair. Why him?" Jackie asked.

"I'm not a ghost."

"But you're dead. You died twenty years ago, Pete."

"It's Pete from a different universe. There are parallel worlds, Jackie. Every single decision we make creates a parallel existence, a different dimension where…" The Doctor said.

"Oh, you can shut up. Oh, you look old."

"You don't." Pete said, happily.

"How can you be standing there?" Jackie asked.

"I just got lucky. Lived my life. You were left on your own. You didn't marry again, or…"

"There was never anyone else. Twenty years, though. Look at me. I never left that flat. Did nothing with myself."

"You brought her up. Rose Tyler. That's not bad." Pete said, looking at Rose.

"Yeah."

"In my world, it worked. All those daft little plans of mine, they worked. Made me rich."

"I don't care about that. How rich?"

"Very."

"I don't care about that. How very?"

"Thing is though, Jacks, you're not my wife. I'm sorry, but you're not. I mean, we both. You know, it's just sort of."

"For God's sake!" I said, looking between Pete and Jackie. "Just hug already!"

"Oh, come here." Pete said, putting down his gun and Jackie she runs into his arms.

Warehouse…

The Daleks burst through the door.

"Exterminate!" The Black Dalek said.

"Delete. Delete." The Cybermen said.

"Definitely a war zone." Kyoko said, hearing the Dalek and the Cybermen open fire.

"Exterminate." A Dalek said.

"Delete." A Cyberman said.

"Everyone get down." A soldier said.

The Torchwood security join in the fight.

"Exterminate. Exterminate." The Dalek said.

"Delete." The Cyberman said.

The Cybermen don't stand a chance as the Daleks glide through with the Ark.

"Get down! Get down!" The soldier said.

"Emergency. All units will converge on the Torchwood Tower. Repeat. All Cybermen to Torchwood." The Cyber Leader said.

"And now they're coming towards us." Kyoko said, while the Cybermen in the street start marching, leaving the humans alone. "Perfect."

"Yeah." I said, looking carefully inside the warehouse with the Doctor. "We need the Mangaclamps."

"Leave this to me." Homura said, stopping time and she ran over to the crate to grab a pair of Mangaclamps. She reactivated time and dodged laser fire to get back to us. "Got 'em."

"That was reckless." Kyoko said, looking at Homura. "You could have died!"

"Cover me." The soldier said, as the Doctor looks back in again with his 3D glasses.

"Override roof mechanism." The Black Dalek said, when the warehouse roof shutters start to slide back. "Elevate."

"What're they doing? Why do they need to get outside?" Rose asked.

"Time Lord science. What Time Lord science? What is it?" The Doctor asked, as the Ark and the Black Dalek glide up and out into Canary Wharf.

Corridor…

"We've got to see what it's doing. We've got to go back up. Come on! All of you. top floor!" The Doctor said.

"That's forty five floors up! Believe me, Kyoko and I have done them all." Jackie said.

"We could always use the elevator." Sayaka said, smiling.

Elevator...

"Now I see why this is called the Battle of Torchwood." Kyoko said, as we're inside the elevator. "People are gonna die here today. Which is stupid!"

Yvonne's office…

The Doctor gets to the window in time to see the Ark shooting out Daleks in all directions as it spins around, "Time Lord science. It's bigger on the inside."

"Did the Time Lords put those Daleks in there? What for?" Mickey asked.

"It's a prison ship." The Doctor said.

"How many Daleks?" Rose asked.

"Millions."

"There are millions of Daleks across London." I said, when the Daleks spread out over London as Cybermen clomp their way through the streets before stopping and shooting into the sky. "And there are millions of Cyberman across the world. I can't lose μ's or Aqours."

"You just want to save your favorite school idol groups." Kyoko said, as people get killed below as well as the Cybermen. "When they haven't been formed yet."

Lever room…

"I'm sorry, but you've had it. This world's going to crash and burn. There's nothing we can do. We're going home." Pete said, taking a yellow medallion from a commando. "Jacks, take this. You're coming with us."

"But they're destroying the city." Jackie said, angrily.

"I'd forgotten you could argue. It's not just London, it's the whole world. But there's another world just waiting for you, Jacks. And it's safe as long as the Doctor closes the breach. Doctor?"

"This isn't a cinema." Homura said, as the Doctor turns around, wearing his 3D spectacles.

"Oh, I'm ready. I've got the equipment right here. Thank you, Torchwood." The Doctor said, using a computer terminal. "Slam it down and close off both universes."

"Reboot systems." The computer said.

"But we can't just leave. What about the Daleks? And the Cybermen?" Rose asked.

"They're part of the problem, and that makes them part of the solution. Oh yes! Well? Isn't anyone going to ask what is it with the glasses?" The Doctor asked.

"What is it with the glasses?"

"I can see, that's what. because we've got two separate worlds, but in between the two separate worlds, we've got the Void. That's where the Daleks were hiding. And the Cybermen travelled through the Void to get here. And you lot, one world to another, via the Void. Oh, I like that. Via the Void. Look." The Doctor said, giving the spectacles to Rose. "I've been through it. Do you see?"

"What's she seeing?" Sayaka asked, as lots of speckles in the air around the Doctor.

"Basically background radiation." Jared said, laughing a little.

"So, we have those around us." Homura said. "Interesting."

"We have multiverse jumped a lot."

"You stop by RWBY's World now and then." Kyoko said. "And you've been to the world with the Cybermen."

"Oi." Jackie said, annoyed.

"But the Daleks lived inside the Void. They're bristling with it. Cybermen, all of them. I just open the Void and reverse. The Void stuff gets sucked back inside..." The Doctor said.

"Pulling them all in!" Rose said, excitedly.

"Pulling them all in!"

"Sorry, what's the Void?" Mickey asked.

"The dead space. Some people call it Hell."

"So you're sending the Daleks and Cybermen to Hell. Man, I told you he was good."

"But it's like you said. We've all got Void stuff. Me too, because we went to that parallel world. We're all contaminated. We'll get pulled in." Rose said.

"Rose, that's why you have to go." Jared said, sadly. "I can hitch a ride out with Sayaka, Kyoko, and Homura. To get out of here as a last minute resort."

"Reboot in two minutes." The computer said.

"Rose, you and the rest of your family are going back to Pete's world. Hey, we should call it that. Pete's World. I'm opening the Void, but only on this side. You'll be safe on that side." The Doctor said, looking at Rose.

"And then you close it, for good?" Pete asked.

"The breach itself is soaked in Void stuff. In the end it'll close itself. And that's it. Kaput."

"But you and Jared stay on this side?"

"But you'll get pulled in." Kyoko said. "You're risking your life like that to save both worlds."

"That's why I got these." The Doctor said, looking at the Magnaclamps. "I'll just have to hold on tight. I've been doing it all my life."

"I'm supposed to go." Rose said.

"Yeah."

"To another world, where there's no guarantee that Jared or Madoka can rescue me as a backup plan, and then it gets sealed off."

"Yeah."

"Forever. That's not going to happen."

"She's really making things difficult." Sayaka said, as the building shakes.

"We haven't got time to argue. The plan works. We're going. You too. All of us." Pete said.

"No, I'm not leaving here." Rose said.

"I'm not going without her." Jackie said.

"Oh, my God. We're going!" Pete said, losing his patience.

"I've had twenty years without you, so button it. I'm not leaving her."

"You've got to." Rose said.

"Well, that's tough."

"Mum."

"Reboot in one minute." The computer said.

"I've had a life with you for nineteen years, but then I met the Doctor and Jared, and all the things I've seen him do for me and Jared, for you, for all of us. For the whole stupid planet and every planet out there. He does it alone like Homura Akemi, mum. But not anymore, because now he's got me and Jared." Rose said, as Jared grabbed Homura's medallion.

"Rose Marion Tyler, I'm sorry." Jared said, putting a medallion around Rose's neck and Pete presses his button. "This is to save you, I know I can't."

"What're you…"

Parallel Torchwood…

"Oh no, you don't. They're not doing that to me again." Rose said, hitting her button.

Lever room…

"I think this is the on switch." Rose said.

Parallel Torchwood…

Pete rips off Jackie's medallion.

"But I've got to go back!" Jackie said, worried about Rose.

"The Doctor said every time we use one of these, it damages the whole world. Now that's it!" Pete said.

"She's your daughter!"

"She's your daughter, not mine. That's an order." Pete said, taking Mickey's medallion.

"Mickey, tell him. Tell him, Mickey. Mickey!"

Lever room…

"Once the breach collapses, that's it. You will never be able to see her again. Your own mother!" The Doctor said, looking at Rose. "Madoka Kaname made that choice to never see her family again when she became a god to help the burden of all magical girls. You have the choice to see yours, Rose."

"I made my choice a long time ago, and I'm never going to leave you and Jared. So what can I do to help?" Rose asked.

"Systems rebooted. Open access." The computer said.

"Those coordinates over there, set them all at six. And hurry up." The Doctor said.

"So, pretty much a select few knows about Madoka now." Homura said, as Rose goes to the terminal and takes her medallion off. "No one was supposed to remember her. Except me and her younger brother."

Parallel Torchwood…

"Get away from me!" Jackie said.

Lever room…

"We've got Cybermen on the way up." Rose said.

"How many floors down?" The Doctor asked.

"Just one." Rose said.

"Kyoko, they're all yours." Jared said, watching Kyoko run away from him. "Be back in a couple minutes."

"Right." Kyoko said. "I'm taking out Cybermen."

"And Homura, how could I forget someone like her?"

"Because she's just a concept now. An idea." Homura said.

"Not anymore, because this is my story. I do this to help others, even when I know what's gonna happen."

"Levers operational." The computer said.

"That's more like it. Bit of a smile. The old team." Rose said.

"You have nine girls that you look up to. And you do to save people with." Sayaka said, smiling. "Us magical girls and Team RWBY."

"I'll kill witches with you girls and I take down some Grimm. Because it's fun."

"I agree. Even if taking down both are a lot of work." Sayaka said, as the Doctor gives Rose a Magnaclamp and they put them on the walls by the levers.

"Press the red button." The Doctor said.

"Sayaka, you, Kyoko, and Homura have to get going." Jared said, looking at Sayaka. "Go to that other world. You'll know when to come back here."

"Okay." Sayaka said, walking away with Homura to catch up with Kyoko.

"Even if we don't like it." Homura said. "I don't agree with this, you want us safe."

"When it starts, just hold on tight. Shouldn't be too bad for us but the Daleks and the Cybermen are steeped in Void stuff. Are you ready?" The Doctor asked.

"So are they." Rose said, while the Daleks are visible outside the window.

"Let's do it!" Jared said, smiling.

They push the levers up then the Doctor, Rose, and Jared grab the Magnaclamps.

"Online." The computer said, and a bright light comes out of the breach and a strong wind rushes into it, sucking the first Daleks through the windows and into itself.

"Emergency!" The Daleks said.

"The breach is open! Into the Void! Ha!" The Doctor said.

"Up, up, and away!" Jared said, as Cybermen all over the world are lifted off their feet and into the air. "Goodbye Daleks and Cybermen! Never liked ya!"

There is a steady stream of Daleks and Cybermen all being sucked through the one broken window into the Void.

Midair…

"Emergency temporal shift!" The Black Dalek Sek said, saves himself, but the Ark gets sucked away.

On the ground, people come out of hiding to watch.

Lever room…

"Rose, hold on!" Jared said, noticing the lever he shared with Rose moves a little.

"Offline." The computer said, as the suction starts to decrease.

"Rose…" Jared said, and Rose has to let go of the Magnaclamp to grab the lever and pull it, but she and it are being dragged the wrong way. "No…"

"I've got to get it upright!" Rose said, while somehow she manages it.

"Online and locked." The computer said, as the suction builds up.

"Rose, hold on! Hold on!" The Doctor said, as Rose is being pulled horizontally towards the Void.

"I'm so close!" Jared said, trying to reach Rose, despite being on her side of the levers, but he can't reach her. "Come on...come on!"

Jared looked over to see that the Doctor can't reach Rose either as her fingers finally slip from the lever handle.

"No!" Jared said, as Pete pops in, catches her and vanishes with his daughter in his arms. The wind dies down and the Void closes itself like paper down a plughole. "My second major loss. It was Madoka, and now it's Rose. No...why is this happening?"

"Systems closed." The computer said.

Parallel Torchwood…

Rose hammers on the wall, "Take me back! Take me back! Take me back."

"It's stopped working. He did it. He closed the breach." Pete said.

"No." Rose said.

Lever room…

"Two amazing girls, ripped right from me." Jared said, leaning against the wall with the Doctor, trying to feel the presence of Rose. "I can always see Madoka, not so…"

"Not so much for Rose." The Doctor said, walking away with Jared. "Rose is gone. I know how much she meant to you, as much as she did me. I loved her."
