chapter 8: The garden.

My first day was filled with just constant cuddling. I had no idea that some races can halfway transform. Like serpents have three stages the human, the tail, and full giant snake.

"So you all mostly stay in human forms except for Viktor since he doesn't have a secondary form." I said wanting a confirmation.

"Yes. Though when at home and cuddling I may go to my half transformation to be able to cuddle you all at the same time. Rhys may release his wings to fully encompass us when he is protective. Tomek tends to only transform to be a heater during the cold nights but he will also shift to take runs." Ora said gently petting my head. He stood up from the couch where we ended falling asleep last night. I hadn't seen a lot of my new environment yet.

The guys got up and walked to the kitchen not before Tom picked me up and carried me to the kitchen. He set me on the island facing the stove. He kissed my head and sat at the stool. I looked up and saw Athena walk in and about freaked out.

"Young miss why are you on the counter?" Athena questioned while speed walking to me.

"I don't know they set me up here." I said pointing at my mates who were standing by the window.

"sorry I put her up there assuming she could get down if she wanted." Tom said helping me down.

"Oh my apologies. She used to try and climb this one tree when she was younger and always ended up falling." Athena said trying to make sure that her mates didn't find out she went into a coma.

"Oh you like trees? We have an area where you could make a garden for yourself." Ora said grabbing my hand.

We walked as a group leaving Athena to cook. They opened a door at the back of the house. I looked and saw that there was a large open yard that was the length of the house. I walked out on to the grass and sat down. I felt the grace and smiled feeling sun on me. The manor didn't get a lot of sunlight. I stood up and smiled and imagined a flower I once saw in a book.

"Well it appears she has a green thumb." Rhys said smirking.

"Yeah I'm happy though. We now know what type of Giver she is." Ora said smiling.

I looked and saw that I sprouted a flowered plant. I was shocked by it. I wasn't listening to what they said. I started to get upset thinking I messed up the yard. I started to tear up and began crying.

"Oh sweet pea what's the matter?" Vik said pulling me to him.

"I-i- I messed the yard with the flower." I said while sobbing.

"Oh honey you didn't mess up the yard. if anything you made it prettier." Ora said gently petting my head.

"I didn't mess it up?" I asked to make sure.

"Nope you just making it prettier just like you.
