Battle of Beacon

Fairgrounds...

The fairgrounds is in chaos as civilians run away from the hordes of Grimm. Atlesian Knight-200s are seen firing at the dark creatures, and a vendor hides behind his booth when a group of Ursai run past. Blake Belladonna and Weiss Schnee are watching in horror of everything going on around them. Civilians continue to flee as Grimm continue to run amok, and a dead Creep on the ground starts to dissipate. They spot the Symphogear wielders taking down Grimm, and Tsubasa knocked back a nearby Grimm from hitting Weiss.

"Be careful." Tsubasa said, looking back at Weiss.

"I can take care of Weiss." Weiss said, as Tsubasa walked away from her. "I don't believe this…"

"Yang, are you okay?" Blake asked, pulling out her Scroll.

Hallways...

Yang Xiao Long is running in the hallways of the dorms with Zwei. She ran into the likes of Hibiki Tachibana killing Grimm left and right.

"Everything will be fine." Hibiki said, smiling. "I didn't want to fight them. But they're not people."

"Thanks." Yang said, looking back at Hibiki, before responding to Blake through her Scroll. "I'm fine. Are Ruby and Jared with you? Ruby's not answering her Scroll. And Jared isn't answering his phone."

"No, they aren't." Blake said, and at those words, Yang stops in her tracks with a worried expression on her face. "Yang, I'm sure they're fine. Ruby's our leader. She can take care of herself. And Jared, he's as optimistic as Hibiki. Who I can tell is with you right now. He can also take care of himself."

Yang closes her eyes and curls her fist into a ball.

"Right." Yang said, hesitantly.

"Like Blake said, they'll be okay." Hibiki said, walking towards Yang in her Gungnir armor. "I know they are."

Yang continues forward with Zwei and Hibiki and turns the next corner of the hallways.

Fairgrounds...

Blake and Weiss are standing still, as Tsubasa and Yukine are killing Grimm left and right with their weapons.

"This can't be happening." Weiss said, sadly. "Penny…"

"Hibiki and I are heading to the docks near the courtyard. The White Fang are releasing Grimm into the school!" Yang said.

"The White Fang is here!?" Blake exclaimed, and she is a bit alarmed when hearing the sounds of Grimm growling through her Scroll, and her expression grows ever more worried. "Yang!"

Yukine Chris walked over to the Scroll and shot a glare at it.

"That idiot!" Yukine said, angrily. "She's heading towards the action."

"Ugh! Gotta go! Be careful!" Yang said, ending the call.

"Blake, what are we going to do?" Weiss asked.

"We're going to the docks, and we're doing our job." Blake said, pensively.

Blake uses her Scroll to call upon her rocket locker, which lands behind her and opens up to reveal Gambol Shroud. Weiss gives one last look at Blake before nodding in agreement.

"We'll handle things here." Tsubasa said, her sword out.

"Don't worry." Yukine said, looking back at Weiss. "You're not so bad yourself, ice queen."

"Likewise." Weiss said.

Amity Colosseum….

The Nevermore screeches as it continues to weaken the force field that's keeping it from getting in.

"Warning: Safety Barriers Failing." A warning announcer said.

As civilians run past them in a panic, Ruby Rose and Jared Shay stays kneeling on the ground with their heads down, their expression in a mixture of shock and sadness, with the two embracing each other.

"Damn it." Kyoko said, looking back at Jared, as the Nevermore circles around the Colosseum. "Why are you acting like this?"

"He did watch one of his friends die after all." Mami said, and Pyrrha Nikos struggles to stand as she looks in shock at the torn apart Penny Polendina.

"We only have two fighters not comfortable with this." Homura said.

"PYRRHA!! Pyrrha, that thing's going to break in! You've gotta move!" Jaune said, in the stands with the remaining members of Team JNPR.

Jaune, Ren, Nora, and the Holy Quintet look up and see the force field flash as the Nevermore rises back up before diving back in. Wasting no time, the leader of Team JNPR jumps from the stands into the arena.

"Jaune!" Nora said, angrily.

"Pyrrha, please snap out of it!" Jaune said, running towards Pyrrha.

Suddenly, the Nevermore completely breaks through the holographic barrier, and the force of it landing on the arena floor knocks back Jaune, Pyrrha, and the pieces of Penny.

"Jared!" Sayaka said, when the Nevermore screeches and lunges towards Jared.

Suddenly, the Nevermore is knocked back by a red, twirling blur of roses, with the cause of the blur gripping one of Sayaka's swords and stabbing into the Nevermore, before jumping back down in front of Jared.

"Ruby?" Jared asked, wiping the tears off of his face. "What did you…"

"When did she get one of my swords?" Sayaka asked, tapping around her body to see one of her swords isn't there. "Oh, when she used her semblance. That does make a bit of sense."

"Leave him alone!" Ruby said, with an angered, determined expression on her face, pointing one of Sayaka's swords toward the Nevermore.

"That was a close one." Jared said, with Madoka lifting him off the ground. "So, what have you been up to?"

"I don't know." Madoka said, as the Nevermore rises up and circles around the arena before lunging back down. "Want me to take it down?"

"I've got this." Ruby said, holding one of Sayaka's swords defensively.

Suddenly, the Nevermore gets pinned down by a barrage of rocket lockers, and screeches out in pain before going unconscious. The lockers then open up, revealing the weapons of various students, including Crocea Mors, StormFlower, Magnhild, and Yatsuhashi Daichi's large sword. The respective owner of the sword pulls it out from his locker, and is shown alongside Scarlet David gripping his cutlass and flintlock pistol, Sage Ayana with his sword, and Neptune Vasilias with his gun in hand.

"So, this is what I call a party." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "With us crashing it."

"It won't get any worse." Homura said, looking over at Sun Wukong with Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang in its staff form, Ren and Nora carrying their respective weapons, and the remaining members of Team CFVY, the members of Team ABRN, as well as Flynt Coal and Neon Katt of Team FNKI, all gripping their respective weapons. "With all of us here."

Jared then looked over at the Holy Quintet to see that they're gripping onto their respective weapons too, "Avengers…"

"Assemble!" Sayaka said, and the students and the Holy Quintet are then suddenly shaken when the Nevermore starts to get back up. "It's getting back up!"

Ruby then tossed one of Sayaka's swords back to her and the blue-haired girl leaped into the air.

"How much do you trust them?" Madoka asked, as Sayaka uses the blades of her weapons to slash at the Nevermore.

"A lot." Jared said, and Arslan Altan uses her rope dart to swing down and grab the towering Yatsuhashi from the ground. "You know what was the hardest thing about being a super hero. Letting you go."

"You mean, letting go of all of us." Sayaka said, while Sage also leaps up into the air, and Nora runs up to the Nevermore's head and hit it with Magnhild in its hammer form. "The Puella Magi Holy Quintet and Teams RWBY and JNPR."

"Yeah. I don't know what my life would be like without any of you guys." Jared said, and when Arslan reaches peak height, she lets go of Yatsuhashi, who is then joined by Sage, as the two broadsword wielders slash down and decapitate the Nevermore, causing it to dissipate into black particles. "If I lose Pyrrha after Penny today. I would be so broken. That I need you guys to pick me up from the depths of hell."

"You need us to save you." Homura said, as Arslan lands back on the ground next to her teammates, Ruby and Jared looks over to the teary-eyed Pyrrha. "I know what you've been through. I experienced it myself."

"Ruby, Jared, I…" Pyrrha said, kneeling on the ground, and she stops and holds a piece of Penny's torn cloth in her hands as her eyes continue to well up. "I'm so sorry."

"Me too." Ruby said, forlornly.

"Ditto on that." Jared said, grabbing Madoka's hand. "It's not your fault, Pyrrha." He is as bad as Ruby. "The only reason I even called Madoka Kaname and Hibiki Tachibana today is to rewrite history. If I'm able to of course."

"He's right." Jaune said, walking over to Pyrrha with Miló and Akoúo̱ in his hands. "Whoever was on that microphone...they're the ones that did this. And we have to make sure they don't take anyone else."

Pyrrha stands back up and takes her weapons back from Jaune, the two of them exchanging determined expressions.

They then look over to Ruby and Jared, who smiles at the impressive ensemble of students and magical girls.

"I know my people." Jared said, as he tossed an apple from inside his pocket to give to Kyoko. "It's you guys. After three years of planning ahead. I'll make sure that I change history."

Their moment is cut short when they notice hippogriff-like Grimm land on top of the colosseum. They fly towards the group of students as Ren calls the Grimm species out by their formal name, "Griffons."

"Anybody got a plan of attack?" Neptune asked.

"Yui!" Ruby said, walking over to Jared. "I need you to summon my locker!"

"On it." Yui said, and Ruby's locker falls down to the ground, which opens up revealing Crescent Rose inside. "Here you go!"

However, Ruby is stopped when a Griffon lands on her locker, and roars at her before being scared away at the sound of a gunshot.

"You should always keep your awareness up." Homura said, holding up her pistol. "So that doesn't happen again."

"Students! I think it would be best for you to leave." Port said, holding his blunderbuss-axe in hand, with Oobleck holding his weapon in its club form.

"But we did a…" Ruby said, sadly.

"Miss Rose! This day will surely go down in Remnant's history. I'd prefer it if my students could live to tell about it." Oobleck said.

Ruby nods at the Doctor's words before grabbing Crescent Rose and twirling it into it's scythe form, "Let's go!"

As all the students leave, Ruby gets distracted by the flash of Velvet Scarlatina's camera. Velvet stops to look at the photograph she took.

"Hey Velvet." Jared said, as he scanned Velvet's camera with the center of his super suit. "Thanks. I got hard copies of your light copies."

"No problem." Velvet said, and she gets interrupted when her leader calls out to her.

"Velvet!" Coco said, angrily.

With the students, the magical girls and the super hero clear of the arena, Port and Oobleck stand back-to-back with their weapons in hand as the Griffons circle around them

"One final match, Barty! Place your bets!" Port said, laughing maniacally.

Outside the Colosseum...

Civilians continue to run and flee in panic as they reach the docking bays of the colosseum.

"Talk about a mess." Tsubasa said, as she and the Atlas Soldiers are directing civilians to calmly step into the Air Buses. "What are we gonna do now?"

A female student is breaking down in tears as Kirika tries to comfort her.

"It's okay." Kirika said, giving the female student something to eat. "You'll be okay! I know it!"

Suddenly, White Fang Bullheads are dropping off more Grimm at the docking bay.

"I thought it was just the three of them." Jared said, as two Atlesian Knights escorting General James Ironwood effortlessly gun down an Ursa. "Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Yukine."

"Me too." Madoka said, and as the Knights proceed forward with Ironwood, the Knights are suddenly brutally ripped apart by a much larger, armored Beowolf variant. "Oh, my god…"

The Beowolf then notices Ironwood as the General starts to run towards it, gradually picking up speed as he nears the charging Beowolf. He screams a loud battle cry as he pulls out his revolver from his coat. Ironwood ducks and slides under the Beowolf's swipe and shoots at it a couple times. The Beowolf then charges at Ironwood again, who fires his revolver a few more times before having to duck under another swipe. The Beowolf attempts to swipe at him again with its left claw, but Ironwood effortlessly stops it with his own right hand. The General then fires at the Beowolf's feet, the explosion causing it to get airborne, and still gripping it's claw, Ironwood proceeds to swing it back down to the ground with his own brute strength. Ironwood then picks up the Beowolf, aims the revolver at its skull, and shoots it, causing black blood to splatter from it. Ironwood then watches the body of the Beowolf dissipate before leaving. The students are then shown exiting the arena entrance with Jared and the Holy Quintet ahead of them and gather together in front of Ironwood.

"What's going on!?" Ruby exclaimed.

"Grimm are crawling all over the city. The White Fang's invaded Beacon, and to make matters worse, some...vagabond has seized one of my ships. Until we regain command, the skies are out of our control. So I'm…" Ironwood said, and he is interrupted by a sneak attack from a Creep, which is swiftly dealt with from a bullet to its head. "...going to take it back."

As Ironwood turns for his ship, he is stopped when asked a question.

"What should we do?" Jaune asked.

"You have two choices. Defend your Kingdom and your school…" Ironwood said, turning around to face the students. "...or save yourselves." The students, the magical girls, and the Symphogear wielders, exchange looks with each other. "No one will fault you if you leave." Ironwood then proceeds to climb up on the dropship in front of him, as he addresses the crowd. "Let's move out!"

As Ironwood leaves, the students look at each other and murmur before a certain monkey Faunus speaks up.

"I mean...come on!" Sun said, annoyed.

"We can take a ship to Beacon!" Jaune said, happily.

"Shirabe, you and the rest of the Symphogear wielders stay here and defeat some Grimm." Jared said, looking at Shirabe and the rest of her friends. "Madoka and the rest of the Holy Quintet will help me change history."

"We're really doing this." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "We're saving Pyrrha Nikos."

"Yeah."

While the students, the Holy Quintet, and Jared head to the nearest airship, Roman Torchwick is seen giddily fidgeting around with the controls of the Atlesian Airship, callsign 'Blue-2', like a child in a candy store.

Atlesian Airship...

"Hmm...let's see, what does...this button do?" Roman asked, and after the button is pressed, a noise is heard. "Oh, fun! How about...this one?" With the press of a button, the airship suddenly empties its cargo of Atlesian Knights, all on standby, as they fall to the ground with a massive thud. "Hm. Alright, nothing."

Neopolitan, still wearing her Atlesian military disguise, hands Roman a Scroll with the Black Queen insignia, as he inserts it in the console.

"Oh-ho-ho! Now this one, this one's gonna be fun!" Roman said, smiling.

Beacon Academy...

As a squadron of Knights shoot down Grimm, they suddenly stop as their visors and LEDs turn a dark crimson, and turn around, pointing their guns at Glynda Goodwitch and Qrow Branwen as they continue to fight the Grimm, the realization shocking them as they see the Knights now turned against two of their now former masters.

"What!?" Goodwitch exclaimed.

On the courtyards of Beacon, Weiss and Blake are nearly caught off-guard by the local Knights also succumbing to the virus and turning towards them, forcing the duo to duck from the volley of fire.

"Look out!" Blake said, terrified.

Weiss and Blake manage to dodge incoming fire, but the Knights surround them, forcing the Schnee and the Faunus to draw their weapons.

Meanwhile, the oblivious general, still en route to the Airship, gets a nasty surprise when the Knights on his dropship suddenly activate and turn on him.

"No!" Ironwood said, reaching out, and the dropship suddenly loses altitude, plummeting from the ground as two flashes can be seen from the cockpit.

Air Bus…

The students watch in horror as they see dropship fall from the sky. Ruby decides to run to the bay doors of their Air Bus. And Jared began scanning the weapons of the Holy Quintet using his nanotechnology super suit, knowing that their weapons would be helpful in the end. He is now behind Ruby Rose, making the nanotech super suit transform into Kyoko's spear.

"Ruby! Jared! What are you doing!?" Sun exclaimed.

"You're being an idiot." Kyoko said, looking at Jared. "You're gonna die."

"No I'm not." Jared said, jumping off the Air Bus with Ruby, as it barely takes off. "Maybe Kyoko's spear is a bad idea. Time to change my strategy." He made the nanotech armor adapt to his body and to lose the weapon he was holding. "Time to do this...Hibiki style!"

"Jared!" Ruby said, moving towards Jared using her Semblance of speed to catch him, just so they can safely land on the runway after freefalling in the sky. "Got you. Man, you're heavy."

Amity Colosseum...

As Ruby and Jared run to the stadium, they find it nearly empty and full of brown dirt.

"Why are you going IN hand to hand combat?" Ruby asked, when she sees a locker. She punches in the code, latches on with Crescent Rose. "When we're up against Grimm."

"I'm tired." Jared said, as he took to the skies with Ruby Rose, with the two landing on top Roman's stolen airship with a thud. "I'm sick of losing people."

He then jumped down knowing that the others needs his help. Leaving Ruby Rose behind to deal with Roman Torchwick.

Airship...

"Ugh...go see what that is." Roman said, gesturing to Neo.

Neo simply nods at Roman's command, and leaves the control room.

Beacon Academy…

Back at Beacon, the hacked Knights continue to fire, but they are cut up by flurry of slashes. Weiss and Tsubasa are taking down a few knights using a combination of Myrtenaster's strikes and Tsubasa's sword. The two girls are being supported by Weiss' Glyph Semblance.

"You're not bad yourself, ice queen." Tsubasa said, back to back with Weiss.

"Likewise. So, what's the plan?" Weiss asked, her Myrtenaster right in front of her. "Do you have a plan?"

"Heaven's Wrath?"

"Wouldn't that hurt them?"

"Exactly. If things get bad. Use some Dust."

"Right."

Blake fights off a group of White Fang soldiers with Yukine Chris, before the Cat Faunus used her Semblance to dodge a dual sword-wielding soldier.

"Shit." Yukine said, as she and Blake are getting overwhelmed by more White Fang members, but they are all suddenly knocked back by Weiss and Tsubasa. "Watch it!"

"I think we're getting cornered." Blake said, sadly.

Afterwards, Weiss, Blake, Yukine, and Tsubasa stand back-to-back, but notice a group of human Atlas Soldiers fighting off an Atlesian Paladin, which has also been affected by the virus and turned rogue. The Paladin easily beats down the soldiers.

"Come on!" Weiss said, annoyed.

Before Weiss, Blake, Tsubasa, and Yukine could assist the soldiers, they notice a Bullhead about to crash land.

"What the hell was that?" Yukine asked, watching an armored Beowolf jumping out of it before it could crash with the aircraft. "A Beowolf?!"

The Beowolf lands on the ground and starts to chase after fleeing civilians. Weiss and Blake exchange one last look with each other before parting ways. And Weiss stays with Yukine and Tsubasa.

"Be safe." Weiss said.

As the two part ways, Blake is seen running just outside the dining hall.

Dining hall…

However, she stops when the Beowolf from earlier latches onto the side of the building above her. Her attention is then drawn away from the Beowolf when she hears a wounded scream inside the burning interior of the dining hall. She then gives a look of horror when she sees a familiar figure throwing an Atlas soldier.

"No...Adam?" Blake asked.

"Hello, my darling." Adam said, grinning creepily.

Beacon Academy…

All across Beacon Academy, various students battle the many Creatures of Grimm: Jaune is seen slashing at an Ursa with the Holy Quintet taking out some Beowolves, while Neon rollerblades away from a Boarbatusk. Coco opens fire on a Griffon with the Symphogear wielders taking out some Ursa, while Arslan is seen fighting an Ursa Major before it runs off to attack Nora, who fires at it with her grenade launcher. Ren is firing his guns at a retreating Beowolf before it drops dead.

"Cinder, you're gonna pay for this." Jared said, looking up at a building to see Cinder Fall, Emerald Sustrai, and Mercury Black standing on the rooftop. "And bringing Emerald and Mercury into the devious plan of yours."

"Why do you hate Cinder?" Homura asked, while Mercury is filming the chaos with his Scroll.

"She's the reason why things are the way they are."

"Beautiful." Cinder said.

"It's almost sad." Emerald said, with a sorrowful expression on her face.

"It's horrendous. Focus on the Atlesian Knights."

"Oh, I'm getting all of it." Mercury said.

"Good. Continue the broadcast until the end." Cinder said, and a tremor rocks the three of them. "And do not miss what happens next."

Cinder walks off as Mercury continues filming with an evil grin on his face, while Emerald's expression only grows more worrisome.

Ozpin's office...

Ozpin watches the battle on three video feeds, one showing some buildings, the middle showing a group of Atlas soldiers struggling a against a Deathstalker on Beacon's main avenue, and the last showing civilians stuck on a rooftop waving for help, while an Ursa slowly crawls up the side of the building. Ozpin then starts to walk away from his desk, grabbing his cane in the process, before proceeding to the elevator. However, he is stopped in his tracks when a sudden tremor shakes the ground.

Vale...

Glynda and Qrow continue fighting, before they too are shaken by another tremor. Qrow stabs his sword into the ground to keep himself standing.

"No…" Glynda said, sadly.

The Holy Quintet showed up to help out the two with their weapons in hand, and they want to stop some Grimm in the process.

"What the hell are we gonna do with all of these Grimm?" Kyoko asked, holding her spear.

"I don't know." Sayaka said, holding both her swords. "Jared's been too sad lately. About the future. I wish we could help him though."

"Me too." Madoka said, tightening her grip on her bow. "Um, we can't keep doing this forever."

"We can." Mami said. "And we will."

"What are you girls doing here?" Qrow asked.

"We're here to help." Homura said.

Beacon Academy….

Another tremor shakes Jaune as he battles an Ursa Major, with Sage and Scarlet piggyback riding on it with worried expressions on their faces.

Mountain Glenn...

A mountain starts to violently shake and crumble, as various body parts of a monstrous-looking Grimm are revealed, before the mountain completely breaks apart, releasing a titanic Wyvern. The Wyvern roars and flies over the abandoned Mountain Glenn, heading towards Beacon. As it flies, it exudes a black, tar-like substance which drops to the ground in the city of Vale and spawns various Grimm.

Ozpin's office...

Ozpin approaches the window of his office, noticing the Wyvern getting closer. The massive Grimm excretes more of the black substance, which drops to the ground and spawns more Grimm near the base of the CCT.

Beacon Academy...

As the Grimm charge forward, the members of Team SSSN, Team JNPR, and the Symphogear wielders in a lineup as they prepare to battle the incoming enemies, with Jaune and Pyrrha exchanging a smile with each other.

"Where the hell is Hibiki?" Yukine asked, angrily.

"She's with Yang." Jared said, looking back at the wielder of the Ichaival. "Did you forget?"

"Of course I didn't. I'm just worried about her. That's all."

Before they could go forward, Pyrrha notices Ozpin standing the entrance of the tower, while Team SSSN runs off to fight off their enemies. Pyrrha then walks towards her headmaster without saying a word to her teammates, much to their confusion.

"Where's she going?" Nora asked.

"I'll go find out. You two stay here and keep fighting." Jaune said.

"Things just went from bad to worse." Jared said, watching Jaune following Pyrrha. "I don't like this."

"So, you know what'll happen here." Tsubasa said, with Jared looking at a building in the background, with Cinder standing on the rooftop with her weapons in hand.

"I do. I hope with eleven people, things would change." Jared said, looking up to see Cinder's eyes glowing ominously. "Let's hope it does."
