Children of Earth:Day Three

Warehouse…

Ianto breaks the lock on the door and they all go inside, "This is us. This is Torchwood. This is home."

"The children promised tomorrow and tomorrow is here. Our correspondents have been measuring the situation in Australia…" Louise Minchin said, on TV.

"Le President a declare avoir ordonné la fermeture de nos coles." A reporter said, on TV.

"The Senate have pointed out that we are now living in fear of our children. In fear of what they will say next. In fear of who or what is speaking through them." Trinity Wells said, on TV.

Jared has Ebb and Flow in dual pistol mode and he aimed a Fire Dust bullet into a barrel to start a fire. They have an old settee to sit on.

"Thank you, Schnee Dust Company." Jared said, looking over at Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko, and Homura. "How are you, Madoka?"

"I'm freezing." Madoka said, shivering. "Why is it cold?"

"Is anyone gonna see us in here, you know, with all this firelight and stuff?" Rhys asked.

"It was abandoned in the nineties. It used to be a Torchwood holding facility. Torchwood One." Ianto said.

"Rusting away for years." Kyoko said, smirking.

"So, um, what, what are we gonna do?" Homura asked. "Just sit here."

"Worse than that, do I have to stay in these clothes? I mean, come on. Tracksuit bottoms? Not a good look." Jack said, annoyed.

"Worse than that, my hoodie is ruined. Or near ruined. The cement ruined the white and blue. Loved the stripes." Jared said, crossing his arms. "Plus I need a shower."

"Jack, Jared, they're arriving today. That alien voice thing said today, and we're stuck in the back end of beyond." Gwen said.

"Yeah, we're in hell. Basically what Kyoko deals with every day with Yuma." Jared said, smiling. "But we're back together, the old team."

"And we've got a team full of faith and hope from Mitakihara City." Jack said.

We're down, but not out, right? We've survived worse than this." Madoka said, happily. "All of us, Magical Girls or not."

"Yeah." Gwen said.

"Besides, I don't know how much fighting you should do in your condition." Jack said, looking at Gwen.

"What's that mean?" Rhys asked.

"Christ, Jack." Gwen said.

"Jack knows you're pregnant? You told him before me, didn't you? And let me guess, Jared knew too, because he always does."

"Rhys, they just happened to be there, and it happened really, really fast."

"Last to know. Last to bloody know. Well thank you very much."

"Don't be stupid, man. Hey, don't be so…" Gwen said, as Rhys walks away. "Couldn't you just keep it shut?" She then turned to look at Jack. "Like Jared did."

Gwen goes after Rhys as Jack grins to himself.

"All together. The old team." Jared said, sadly. "A team full of Magical Girls and Torchwood. Me being the third wheel, of course."

"Tension is mounting as the population of the entire planet waits for the next incident." Louise Minchin said, on TV.

"Le Parlement Europeen semble fige au regard de ces…" A reporter said, on TV.

"We've been given no answers, no hope, no assurance that our children will come first…" Trinity Wells said, on TV.

"The Government has refused to speculate about the origin of the voice or the importance of the word tomorrow. Let's take you live now to Downing Street." Louise Minchin said, on TV.

Prime Minister's office…

Broadcasting to the nation.

"In light of what's happening with our children, we've temporarily closed the schools. As a further precaution, we have introduced a temporary curfew for everyone under the age of eighteen. Keep your children at home where they'll be safe. The curfew takes effect immediately and will continue until further notice. But rest assured, we're doing everything in our power to find out what's going on, to safeguard our children and all the people of this nation. In the meantime, we are asking everyone to stay calm, and to go about your lives as normal. There's nothing to suggest we are in any danger, and as soon as we find out anything more, the public will be informed. And as always, I thank you, for your trust, and for your faith." Green said.

Warehouse…

Ianto makes a phone call, "Yeah, it's me. Listen, I can't talk. Just give her the thumbs up. She'll know what it means."

Housing Estate…

A man whistles from his balcony to Johnny, who is walking back to his home with a neighbour's daughter, then gives a thumbs up.

"Oh, brilliant. Thanks, Mac." Johnny said.

Davies' home...

The house is full of the local schoolchildren whose parents are at work.

"Mac says thumbs up, Ianto's alive." Johnny said, happily.

"Was that it? You daft sod. Well, where is he, what's he doing?" Rhiannon asked.

"Thumbs up, that was all. This is Eliza, and she's lactose intolerant, so no milk." Johnny said, bringing in a kid.

"Okay, Eliza. You take your coat off. You go in there and play, all right? That's it now, Johnny. No more kids. I'm full to bursting."

"It's a public service. The schools are closed. People still got to work. Life goes on."

"Yeah, with you making a profit."

"It's ten quid a kid. Look, that could be our slogan, ten quid a kid."

Carter home…

Alice is still trying to contact her father.

"This is Jack Harkness. Leave a message and I'll get back to you." Jack said, his voice over voicemail.

Warehouse…

The team pool their resources.

"So, we've got guns, grenades, Grief Seeds, a bazooka, okay. And a pen knife, laptop, now dead. Credit cards and phones which they can trace. Lemsip, book of stamps, pair of contact lenses, Jared's magical charm, and fifteen quid." Jack said.

"Plus twenty five pence. With some bloody alien thing turning up today." Gwen said.

"We've got some of the Torchwood software, though. We've lost the Hub, but the software still exists on the server. Trouble is, we're gonna need some more equipment, not to mention electricity." Ianto said.

"And how are we gonna manage that, tucked away like criminals." Sayaka said.

"Well that's it. Brilliant." Gwen said.

"What?" Rhys asked.

"Criminals. Thieves. Us. Well, they're treating us like criminals, let's be criminals. Listen, I trained with the police. I know every trick in the book. I've seen the lot." Gwen said.

"Homura did learn how to be a criminal to rack up on weapons with her time stopping abilities. Just to save Madoka." Kyoko said, smirking. "And I basically became a criminal, after, you know."

"Come on, boys and girls. You're gonna learn some tricks. Kyoko, Homura, let's go."

London…

Madoka masquerades as a waitress, "Is everything okay here?"

"Oh, yeah, fine, thank you." The customer said.

"Um, that'll be twenty pounds." Madoka said, and the customer hands over her credit card.

The pink hair Magical Girl walked away with it.

Meanwhile, Sayaka steals another laptop in its case while Kyoko talks to its owner on a park bench. The two Magical Girls looked over to see that Gwen and Rhys are doing the same thing.

Homura stopped time and does the credit card thing at a nearby restaurant before meeting up with Jack at the X:it Bar and restaurant, who also has a credit card. The two walked away together.

Rhys and Ianto stage a street fight so Gwen and Jared can steal a briefcase.

Homura drives off with a Porsche Boxster sportscar while its owner is on the pavement using his mobile phone.

"Oi, come back, that's my car." The driver said, angrily.

Carter home…

"I'm just going to pop over the road. I won't be a minute, okay?" Alice asked.

Outside the Carter home…

Alice sees a lady passing by, "Excuse me, could I borrow your phone? I just want to make a call my sister. She's a bit worried. It's all this stuff with the kids, and my mobile's not working. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, sure." The passerby said.

"I won't be long. Brilliant, thanks." Alice said, making a call.

"Hello, Cardiff Bay police station." A woman said, over the phone.

"Yeah, I'm trying to contact Captain Jack Harkness, he works for Torchwood. I know it's not your department, but…" Alice said, and there are tones on the line as she is transferred.

Ashton Down monitoring station / Outside the Carter home...

The key words have flagged up Jack's data, then Alice's.

"No, but I think he was in that explosion and I can't get in touch with him. He's got this private number and he always answers it, but…" Alice said.

"I'll need your name and address." A man said, his voice over the phone.

"I just want to know where he is."

"I'll need your name and address. Name and address, please."

Alice ends the call and returns the phone, "Lovely. Thank you very much. Thanks."

A nearby CCTV camera is tasked with following Alice back indoors. They get her address.

Ashton Down monitoring station…

"Name's Alice Carter. Maiden name Alice Sangster. Parents James and Mary Sangster, which is significant because James and Mary Sangster never really existed. They were placeholder names used in the early seventies for personnel that went into deep cover or witness relocation. In other words, the whole ID's a fake." The operative said, reading the computer screen.

"Can you find out who she is?" Johnson asked.

"I'm on to it."

Warehouse…

"A whole day without the essentials." Jared said, kicking his foot back and forth. "I don't like it. I need, I need some μ's and Aqours."

"Music? Why not go for some classical?" Sayaka asked, and there was light, via electricity tapped from the grid. "Let there be light. Y'know, you really are like me."

"Oh, yes. Britain's most wanted." Gwen said.

"Hey, how about that?" Rhys asked, and he has created a sign out of old copper pipe - HUB2.

"Guess that makes you an official member of Torchwood." Madoka said, happily. "Or you can be an honorary Magical Girl!"

"You can stick it, mate. Get on those computers and get me home, yeah?" Rhys asked, looking at Madoka.

Ianto and Kyoko enters, laden with carrier bags.

"Oh, I like the new car outside." Kyoko said, a Pocky in her mouth. "Convertible."

"Nice, very smart." Ianto said, looking at Homura. "Was that you?"

"Um, um, yes." Homura said, nervously. "It was. Do, do you like it?"

"Where have you been? We thought the both of you got arrested." Sayaka said, looking at Kyoko and Ianto.

"Oh, we were buying the essentials." Kyoko said, her hand on her hip.

"Technology's one thing, but let's not forget the creature comforts. Coffee, tea, and cake, obviously. Got some doo dah." Ianto said, tossing the toilet paper.

"Thank God." Gwen said, happily.

"And more importantly. I didn't know your exact sizes, but I reckon I've got a good eye. Kyoko picked out the outfits for her fellow Magical Girls." Ianto said, while the bags contain new clothes.

"Oh, brilliant. I am stinking." Gwen said, looking down at her bag.

"Nice one." Rhys said.

"And for you, sir, Army surplus special." Ianto said, tossing the bag to Jack.

"Oh, you're kidding me." Jack said, in awe.

"And for you, sir, cherry blossom season." Ianto said, tossing the bag to Jared. "There's also an extra one, winter wonderland. Enjoy."

"No way." Jared said, looking down at the bag. "Cherry blossoms? Ianto Jones, god, I love you."

"How, how did Ianto find…" Madoka said, as Jared ran out of the room. "And he's out."

Jack gets dressed, greatcoat and all, "I'm back."

Jared then entered wearing the cherry blossom hoodie and a pair of jeans, "Me too. Don't know for how long. But I needed this outfit."

"Cherry blossom." Madoka said, smiling. "I like it."

"Taking the whole Sakura in Kyoko Sakura." Jared said, laughing a lot. "So, how's it going with you guys?"

"Why are you wearing the winter wonderland hoodie?" Sayaka asked, walking towards Jared.

"I thought it wasn't necessary. And cherry blossoms are pretty."

"They are." Kyoko said, holding two boxes of Pocky. "Strawberry or chocolate?"

"Strawberry." Jared said, and he grabbed it from Kyoko. "Thanks."

"Um, what's the plan?" Homura asked.

"We stop the aliens. And I get you four home. Somehow." Jared said, as he walked towards one of the laptops.

The fanboy began eating the Pocky slowly, then he took out a USB stick out of his pocket and tossed it over to Jack Harkness.

"Thank you." Jack said, while the stolen laptops get used. "And we're in."

"Just like the old days." Ianto said.

"I'll patch into the new channels, see what's happening." Gwen said, typing away on the keyboard.

"Black, no sugar, yeah?" Rhys asked, making coffee.

"Y'know, as every day passes." Jared said, kicking his foot back and forth. "I've been taking Team RNJR for granted. I miss them. I know I'm gonna see them again."

"If you want to see them again, then see them." Madoka said, smiling. "What's wrong?"

"I feel like I'm a failure sometimes. But at the same time, I have to learn from my mistakes. This being one of them."

"Run a check on that Clement MacDonald. See if there's any change. And those names Lois said. Captain Andrew Staines. What was it, Ellen Hunt? Michael something. All assassinated the same time they tried to kill Jack." Gwen said.

"Andrew Staines, Ellen Hunt, Michael Sanders. Mean anything to you?" Ianto asked.

"No, nothing." Jack said.

"We need to get inside Whitehall. Have you got the Eye 5 software, Ianto?" Gwen asked.

"Yeah, it's still on the site, why?" Ianto asked.

"Download it onto the laptop. Because these are not just contact lenses, these are Torchwood contact lenses." Gwen said.

"But what do we use them for? Who's gonna wear them?"

"Well, there's only one person still talking to us." Sayaka said, happily. "That being a personal assistant."

(Jared's POV)

Sandwich shop…

Lois is waiting in the queue when the shop phone rings.

"Hello? Is there a Lois in here? Lois Habiba?" A man asked.

"That's me." Lois said.

"We're not a call centre. Hurry up." The man said, handing Lois the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi Lois." I said, sipping on a cup of tea. "Look to your right, okay?"

Gwen and I are across the street.

"Wait! Don't hang up, Lois! Just give us five minutes! Please!" I said, tapping a four beat rhythm with my free hand. "That's all we need."

Gwen and I are now sitting opposite Lois.

"I've helped the both of you once, and that's enough. If anybody finds out what I'm doing, it's treason. It's literally treason. Offences like this can be tried without a jury. They could do anything to me." Lois said.

"I know, but you said they're building something at Thames House, and we need to find out what it is." Gwen said.

"That's the most secure building in the whole country. I can't exactly smuggle the either of you in."

"Well, you don't need to." I said, smiling. "Just keep your eyes open. Like this, you see?"

Gwen opens a laptop.

Lois sees herself on the screen, "But, where's that coming from? That's not a webcam, it's you."

"Moving it to the left where Gwen Cooper is. I said, looking at my surroundings. "Then to the right. And back to you, Lois Habiba."

"Where's the camera? On your jacket? Where that pendant is?" Lois asked.

"Nope. Since that's an old type of magic. And it's linked to me. The camera, it's in my eyes!" I said, happily. "Cool, right?"

"Oh, my God."

"When you wear these, they'll transmit a picture so we can see what's going on. More than that, we've got lip-reading software. Just look at someone when they're speaking, and it'll translate it. Press enter now. Go on. Right, now it's working. Say something." Gwen said.

"Like what?" Lois asked.

"Like what?" The computer asked.

"Oh my God, that's weird."

"Oh my God, that's weird."

"And we can send messages to you. Type something. Go on, anything." Gwen said, as Lois types Hello Jared while I see in my retinas.

"Hey, Lois." I said, still sipping my cup of Earl Grey tea. "Man, this tea is so good."

"You can see that in your eyes?" Lois asked.

"In your eyes?" The computer asked.

"Yup." I said, removing the contact lenses. "These lenses are ever so helpful, Lois. As helpful as telepathy."

"Yeah." Sayaka said, telepathically. "You're right there. I've been listening to your conversation with Lois. Everything's going well."

"If you wear these, we can find out what's going on, and then we can help." Gwen said.

"But I can't. What if they, I don't know, scan for bugs or something?" Lois asked.

"They will try and scan it. But they won't register." I said, placing the foam cup on the table. "Like they haven't traced any telepathic calls I've had with any Magical Girls. I promise."

"I can't, though. Giving you lot information's one thing, but that's putting me right on the front line."

"You're the only friend we've got left." Gwen said.

"Even if I get into Thames House, I can't get on to floor thirteen. That's where they're building this thing. But Frobisher only takes Miss Spears with him, I'm just the office girl." Lois said.

"Well, you'll have to find a way inside." Gwen said.

"But how?"

"I don't know. It's been a long couple of days. Please think of something. Be your brilliant, clever self." I said, placing my hand on top of Lois'.

"I can't. I'm sorry, I've got to go." Lois said, standing up.

"Just take them with you, we are begging you. Just think about it." Gwen said, as I stood up with her.

"I've really got to go."

Lois began walking away from Gwen and I.

"Lois, please." I said, looking at Lois.

I still have a smile on my face, as I grabbed Gwen's hand.

"I can't." Lois said.

"Please. Help us, Lois Habiba, you're our only hope." I said, giving Lois the contact lens case.

(Open POV)

Witch's labyrinth…

"Why do Witches keep appearing whenever we're around Jared?" Sayaka asked, looking at her best friends.

"The hell am I supposed to know?" Kyoko asked.

The four Magical Girls are fighting off the Witch, as long as they could, and to make sure Torchwood and Jared are safe.

"Are, are we doing the right thing?" Homura asked, tossing a grenade at the Witch.

"We are." Madoka said, aiming an arrow at the Witch.

"How many years have Jared been fighting for?" Sayaka asked. "With us?"

"Two to three years." Kyoko said, putting up a latticework barrier. "Roughly."

"Has it been that long?" Madoka asked.

"He did say that." Sayaka said, sadly. "Even though it's been months for us."

The four defeated the Witch and they appeared back in the Warehouse.

Warehouse…

"I'm a fixed point in time and space. That's what the Doctor and Jared say. I think that means it's forever." Jack said.

"So one day you'll see me die of old age, and just keep going." Ianto said.

"Yeah." Jack said.

"We'd better make the most of it, then."

"I suppose."

"Like right now?"

"Ianto, the world could be ending."

"The world's always ending. And I have missed that coat." Ianto said, looking at Jack.

"Rhys, do you want to take the car and go to those shops down by the wharf with Sayaka and Kyoko? We need some discs for these things. Should take about twenty minutes?" Jack asked.

"I think it'll take 30 minutes." Kyoko said, eating some chips.

"Thirty does sound reasonable." Sayaka said, sitting next to the fiery Magical Girl.

"We'll go later. The beans are almost done." Rhys said.

"The beans are almost done." Madoka said, happily. "Beans. If only there was red bean paste."

"And, wouldn't, wouldn't rice be good too?" Homura asked.

Ianto finds Clem's records, "Whoa, that's nice. Look at that, face recognition software. And, arrested two hours ago in London. He wouldn't give his name, but that is Clement MacDonald."

"That's the man from the hospital." Jack said.

"Could be useful." Ianto said, when the phone rings. "Gwen? Jared?"

Street / Warehouse…

"Lois has the contact lenses." Jared said, sipping on a cookies and cream milkshake. "But she's too scared. I feel her, this is way more scarier than usual."

"We've got a new mission for the both of you. That Clem's turned up, Camden police station of all places. Arrested for theft and minor affray. Could you lot get him out?" Ianto asked.

"How am I supposed do that? I get Jared, since he was a member of UNIT." Gwen said, as Jared is laughing a little.

"Gwen Cooper, you were a policewoman. When you joined Torchwood." Jared said, holding his milkshake.

"Oh, okay. Bloody hell. Anything else while we're at it?" Gwen asked.

"Fillet steak would be nice." Ianto said. "And get Homura a maid outfit. I want her shyness to come out. That's what Jared would want, right?"

"Yeah, don't push it. See you later. Come on, Jared." Gwen said, ending the call. "Maid outfit?"

Warehouse…

"So, what's his story?" Kyoko asked. "And Homura in a maid outfit? The hell is he up to?"

"Ah, well, according to Gwen and Jared, it was your classic alien abduction, back when he was a kid. 1965. He was living ten miles outside Arbroath, the Holly Tree Lodge, it was an orphanage. I looked up the files. The kids were taken away in November 1965. The Lodge was closing down. They were being taken to a second care home called Harbour Heights in Plymouth, except that's where the records stopped. There's no trace of them arriving. I mean, it was the sixties, a lot of the paperwork's gone missing. But if what he's saying is true, maybe they never got there." Ianto said.

"Um, why, why does Jared want to see me in a maid outfit?" Homura asked.

The time stopping Magical Girl is getting all nervous again.

"I think Jared watched too much K-On recently." Sayaka said.

"K-On?" Madoka asked.

"The anime where five girls played instruments?" Kyoko asked, placing another chip in her mouth. "That does sound like him."

"Is, is it cool?" Homura asked.

"Just do it." Ianto said, loading up the images on the computer screen. Who are they, Jack? Did you know them?"

"I never knew their names." Jack said.

"Who were they? Jack, tell me. Did you know them?" Ianto asked, as Jack grabs his greatcoat and runs out. "Jack!"

"Oi, the beans are ready." Rhys said.

Helicopter…

"You sure about this?" Shirabe asked.

"Jared told us to come today." Maria said.

"Everything's going to be okay." Kirika said, smirking.

"What do we do now?" Shirabe asked.

"He didn't tell us the full details." Maria said. "But I assume it's bad."

"How bad?"

"I don't know."

Helicopter/ Warehouse…

"Hi." Hibiki said, telepathically. "Is everything alright over there?"

"Everything's okay." Sayaka said, sitting on a chair. "Jared told me that there's someone you need to protect. It's Jack's daughter and grandson."

"Daughter and grandson?" Chris asked. "Couldn't he have done it himself?"

"I don't think he's able to." Madoka said, sadly. "Not without leading them back to us."

"So, that's why he told us to come." Tsubasa said. "Where is this family?"

"The Carters?" Kyoko asked. "I don't know."

"Knowing Jack, they're probably somewhere in Wales." Kyoko said, placing another potato chip in her mouth.

Camden/ Helicopter…

"Hey Symphogear." Jared said, telepathically. "About Alice and Steven Carter. They're gonna be running away from home."

"Running where?" Maria asked.

"Somewhere. I can't remember exactly."

"But it looks like you're in a bit of a bind. Who will go where?" Tsubasa asked.

"Shirabe, Kirika, you two will go and protect Alice and Steven. Tsubasa, Maria, and Chris, I need you guys to go to Ianto's family, his sister's house. Hibiki and Miku will come to where I'm at. It's at Camden, London."

"Why do we have to split up?" Kirika asked.

"Because it's dangerous. And Hibiki, I know how much you care about Miku. I, um, also need you guys to stop me. If I take things too far."

"I do, I do care about Miku." Hibiki said, looking at Miku. "How long do we have?"

Cardiff Police Station...

The phone rings.

"Andy Davidson." Andy said.

"Andy, listen." Gwen said, her voice over the phone.

"You're alive."

"Yes, I'm still alive, you idiot. I'm with a friend." Gwen said, her voice over the phone.

Camden / Cardiff Police Station…

"Now shut up. The both of us need some help." Gwen said, with Jared thinking of a weapon as defense.

"We need you. All these kids saying, we are coming. And that's today. I mean, what's it gonna be? Like a spaceship?" Andy asked.

"Andy has to hurry up." Jared said, crossing his arms. "Or at least listen."

"Or Godzilla?" Andy asked.

"Just listen. We need you to release a prisoner from Camden police station. The address is Albany Street." Gwen said.

"What are you doing in Camden?"

"Does it matter?"

"It does to me, aye."

"Yes, I know, I'm sorry. Look, just listen. I've got no ID, and neither does my friend, you know who that is, so I need you to vouch for us. He's only on minor charges so we can stand bail. You need to phone them, and fax a WC242A. Don't use my name, use Lynda's and yours. I'll say I'm Lynda. And my friend will say that he's you. Can you do that for us please?" Gwen asked.

"Okay." Andy said.

"Like now?"

Camden Police cells…

An officer unlocks Clem's cell.

"Hello Clem." Jared said, eating some chocolate chip cookies. "Remember us?"

"Oh." Clem said.

"It's all right. I've got you." Gwen said, and Clem cries on her shoulder.

Carter home…

"It's boring. I want to see aliens." Steven said.

"Yeah? Be careful what you wish for. Put some cartoons on." Alice said, as she is about to hang the washing out, when a dog stops barking and whimpers.

Alice looks out of the front door, and the road is empty. Shirabe and Kirika landed on the road, with the two taking out their Relics.

"Various Shul Shagana tron." Shirabe said, putting on her Symphogear armor.

"Steven, come on. We're going out. Quickly now." Alice said.

"But the telly said we've got to stay inside." Steven said.

"Never mind that. Now, listen to me. We're going to go out, and you're gonna be quiet, okay? Don't make a sound. Just like those games your gran used to teach you, do you remember?" Alice asked, looking at Steven.

"Are we in trouble? Gran always said there'd be trouble." Steven said.

Alice takes a knife from the kitchen, and a chopping block, "Then do exactly what she said. Just like the games. Nice and quiet, and don't let me out of your sight. Come on."

Alice and Steven run out of the back door with Shirabe and Kirika meeting up with them as the soldiers break down the front door.

"Clear." A soldier said.

"Clear." Soldier 2 said.

"Clear." Soldier 3 said.

"Alice Carter. I'm Kirika Akatsuki." Kirika said, smiling. "And this is Shirabe Tsukuyomi. We're here to help."

Outside, Alice smacks a soldier in the face with the chopping block, takes his sidearm and runs with Steven and the two Symphogear wielders.

Alleyway…

Alice, Steven, Shirabe, and Kirika are trapped.

Alice points the gun at Johnson, "Get out of the way."

"Go on then. Shoot. Let's see what happens. Are you as immortal as your father? Is the boy? We can put it to the test." Johnson said.

"Take us. Let him go." Alice said.

"No."

"He's only a child."

"So? Alice, if we wanted you dead, we'd have opened fire by now. Just put down the gun. And Symphogear, go back to normal."

Who are you?" Shirabe asked.

"Alice, put down the gun. And Symphogear, transform back." Johnson said.

"If you harm him. I will kill you." Alice said.

"Understood." Johnson said, as Alice puts the gun on the ground, and Symphogear transformed back into their normal outfits. "And the knife. Alice, you're certainly your father's daughter, I'll give you that."

"Come on, sweetheart." Alice said, and she turns around to see Steven is pointing into the sky. "Steven, what is it? What are you doing? Steven, what is it?"

"What's he pointing at?" Shirabe asked.

"Steven, stop it. Please stop it. Steven, look at me. Steven, stop it."

Kirika looks towards where Steven is pointing, "It's them. The aliens Jared told us about."

Davies' home…

Rhiannon is scrubbing a garment in the sink, "I charge extra for cleaning. Tell your mum, it's another two quid."

She turns around to see the children are all pointing. Tsubasa, Maria, and Chris entered the house to see what's going on.

"The hell's going on?" Chris asked. "Why are they pointing?"

Ealing...

Sayaka and Kyoko are walking through the city to see some of the kids pointing.

"Now?" Sayaka asked. "Where are they pointing?"

Camden…

Hibiki and Miku appeared, with the two taking out their Relics to transform.

"Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron." Hibiki said, running to Jared.

"Shit." Jared said, when Clem is also pointing. "This isn't good."

"What's happening?" Miku asked. "Is this Clem?"

Warehouse…

"It's them, it's all of them, the kids." Ianto said.

"What are they saying?" Madoka asked.

"They're not. Just pointing."

"Yet again, every child has stopped. Every single child in the world. There seems to be no reports of speech, only that they seem to be indicating something in the sky." Louise Minchin said, on TV.

Housing Estate…

Johnny met up with Rhiannon, with Tsubasa, Maria, and Chris right behind them.

"It's on the news. They're pointing." Johnny said.

"We know, but they're pointing in a certain direction." Tsubasa said. "What's over there?"

Warehouse…

"It says all the children in America are pointing east, and all the children in Europe are pointing west." Ianto said.

"Um, it's us." Homura said, looking at the screen. "They're, they're pointing at us."

Housing Estate…

"If you go far enough in that direction, that's London. They're pointing at London." Rhiannon said.

"According to reports, children in London are all pointing towards the centre of the city. To repeat, children in London all seem to be pointing towards the centre." Louise Minchin said, on TV.

Warehouse…

"They're pointing at Thames House.

And Symphogear is on the radar. Jared's up to something. More help. They've branched out. Come on." Ianto said, having a scanner for Symphogear up on one of the other laptops.

Ianto ran out of the room with Rhys, Madoka, and Homura.

Thames House…

"It's happening." Simon said.

Rhys, Ianto, Madoka, and Homura run onto the warehouse roof in time to see a pillar of fire break through the clouds and head slowly down towards Thames House.

"Sorry, you stay here." Frobisher said.

"Mister Frobisher, you haven't got the authorisation." Simon said.

Frobisher takes the lift alone to floor 13, then jams the doors with a chair. Alarms blare, then the building shakes.

Frobisher joins Dekker in the contact room to watch the fire fill the containment chamber. After a few moments, it stops. A pair of eyes is just visible in the thick gas.

Davies' home…

"We are here." The children said, before they go back to playing.

Tsubasa, Maria, and Chris are at a loss for words.

Camden…

"It's them. They're back." Clem said.

"Hey, everything's okay." Jared said, taking out some bubble tea to drink it. "You're connected to them, these aliens. I can't remember why exactly, it's been a long time. But we need to find out how and why. Come on girls and Clem."

Jared took the lead with Hibiki and Miku behind him, and Gwen is with Clem.

Contact room…

A screeching noise comes from the containment chamber, then a translation with a male voice.

"Speak." The 456 said.

"My name is John Frobisher, Permanent Secretary to the Home Office of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Earth. On behalf of the Human race, I…" Frobisher said, and something green splatters against the containment chamber glass. The creature inside flails around then stops. "Is there something wrong? Do you want me to continue? Then, if I could request, for the purpose of communication, we've no name for your species. What are you called?"

"You call us 456.

"That's correct."

"Then that is our name."

More screeching and vomiting.

"If I could request, on behalf of my government, what is it that you want? Can you hear me? I'm sorry, but I need to know before I approach my superiors, what exactly do you want? I must ask the 456, officially, your purpose in visiting…" Frobisher said.

"Speak." The 456 said.

"I am speaking."

"We would speak."

"With who?"

"The world."

"Why?"

"We would speak."

"Well, perhaps we do things differently here, but we would consider this to be a diplomatic liaison. Does that make sense? We are both, in a sense, ambassadors. And according to protocol, ambassadorial procedure is not made public. You wouldn't be speaking to the entire population, but to their elected representatives. That's, that's, that's how it works. That's all I can offer. Is that acceptable?"

"Yes."

"Good. Thank you."

"Bring them."

"Thank you. I have one condition. Does that make sense, do you understand that? A condition? The 456 have made contact with this country before, many years ago. It would be better if, I mean, given the nature of that meeting, it would ensure the smooth running of diplomatic relations between Earth and the 456 if that previous encounter was kept off the record. By off the record, I mean private. Between us. Can you do that?"

"Yes." The 456 said.

"Thank you." Frobisher said.

"Soon."

"I'm sorry?"

"Return soon."

"I will. Thank you." Frobisher said, leaving the room.

Frobisher slumps against the corridor wall, where Dekker finds him.

Warehouse…

"The area around Thames House is being cordoned off while the Government has…" Louise Minchin said, on the monitor.

"It is all kicking off now. Just when we need Jack and Jared." Ianto said.

"At Downing Street. These images are from five minutes ago. That's been identified as Colonel Oduya of the Unified Intelligence Task Force. And this is coming live. That's General Austin Pierce, representing the American Armed Forces. He's heading inside Downing Street right now."

Car / Warehouse…

Jared is eating mochi and he passed some to Hibiki and Miku.

"So good." Jared said, eating some of the food. "I love snacks."

"Mochi." Hibiki said, enjoying the mochi. "Got takoyaki?"

"In my bigger in the inside pockets?" Jared asked.

The fanboy then took out the snack box he stored inside his pocket, filled with loads of global sweets and snacks.

"That has to be a whole luggage worth." Miku said, looking down at the small box. "Where do you get these snacks from that always stay fresh?"

"The snacks? And the tea? Oh. From the ice queen and Ren."

"The ice queen?" Hibiki asked. "Is that Weiss Schnee?"

"Yeah." Jared said, tossing a skewer of yakisoba to Miku. "There you go."

"Jared." Sayaka said, eating some chips inside the warehouse. "How's it going over there?"

"Not so good. I'm bored to death."

"Why didn't you stay with us?"

"Because it's boring over there too. I regret calling Hibiki and Miku."

"Why?" Sayaka asked, through telepathy. "Is it that bad?"

"Yes. Someone's gonna die. And it'll be my fault. I can't remember who it is. But I need to draw Symphogear away from us." Jared said, still snacking on the mochi.

"Wait, you're gonna not make us be in the front lines?" Hibiki asked, placing her hand on top of Jared's. "How come?"

"Because you girls need to save children." Jared said, smiling. "Not now, but I don't want someone else to die. I hope, I hope I can rewrite time."

Alleyway / Car…

"Jared, we've got arrested." Shirabe said.

"The hell?" Jared asked, placing his hand on top of the armrest. "Are the Carters…"

"They're fine!" Kirika said. "No need to worry."

"Good. I'm sorry I got you both involved in this."

"We would have come anyway." Kirika said, smirking.

Davies' home / Car...

"Can you give us an answer?" Chris asked.

"For starters, I needed you guys to split up." Jared said, sadly. "And for what I'm about to do here in London."

"You want to be the hero that badly?"

"That's right. You're not the only one on the battlefield!" Tsubasa said.

"What do you want us to do?" Maria asked.

"Make sure Ianto's niece and nephew are safe." Jared said, smiling. "If they're gone, Jack would kill me."

Car…

"Are you okay?" Miku asked, looking at Jared.

"Physically, yes." Jared said, eating some chocolate chip cookies. "Mentally, no. This is too stressful. And emotionally, I'll be scarred in the end."

Frobisher home…

Anna is on her phone, "Oh, but I'm the last to know. My own husband, and he won't tell me what's going on. I've got the girls pointing at the sky, and he won't say. No, there's nothing. I've been flicking through the news channels. They weren't saying anything. Yeah, yeah, I know. If I hear anything, I'll let you know. Yeah, okay, bye. Lilly. Downstairs, please. I want you where I can see you."

Jack comes out of hiding, takes Anna's phone and leaves.

"The so-called pillar of fire has brought central London to a halt. All roads leading to the river have been closed off. As a result all major thoroughfares have ground to a standstill. Motorists are being asked to stay out of the city centre except for emergencies." Louise Minchin said, on TV.

Car…

Gwen, Clem, Jared, Hibiki, and Miku are stuck in a traffic jam.

Gwen is on the phone, "Oh, that's so bloody Jack. You should've stopped him. Well, I don't know. We're gonna be ages. It's gridlock. Bloody London. Half the people are panicking, trying to get out, the other half are trying to get in. Look, I'm going to have to go, okay? Bye."

"Clem, it's okay." Hibiki said, looking over at Clem. "You're safe, you're with us. Nothing bad will happen to you. We won't let it, okay?"

"I keep remembering more. It's not just them up there. It's the man. He's come back, after all these years. I can smell him." Clem said.

"What man? Who is he?" Gwen asked.

"It's the same man. I knew he'd come back for me."

"Ooo, I'm hungry. It's been a long day, and I really hate staying still in one place for too long. Can we have some tea and cake? Maybe some burgers and fries? Some hot dogs too?" Jared asked, looking at Gwen.

"Sure. Why not?" Gwen asked, looking at Hibiki and Miku. "Any objections? I bloody love 'em."

"Nope." Hibiki said, happily.

"No." Miku said. "It's been a long day, like Jared said."

Gwen drives down the pavement, leaving the other motorists staring.

Thames House…

Simon briefs Frobisher while Bridget and Lois sit together.

"I'm recommending we start at nineteen hundred. That gives us another two hours. Now, this is Louise, she can advise on international diplomatic protocols. Same goes for Samuel." Simon said.

"There's a creature in that room. It's powerful, and it's toxic, and it's capable of God knows what. I bet you're glad to be trotting after John Frobisher now." Bridget said.

"Stuart's the linguistics expert. He can help out if there's a problem with translation."

Frobisher's phone rings, "Oh, excuse me, I'd better take this. I was gonna phone you. God, I wish I was home right now. Look, just tell the girls that there's nothing to worry about."

Road / Thames House…

"Oh, I'll tell them that, Johnny boy. I'll tell them that their father tried to have me killed, how about that?" Jack asked.

"That's my wife's phone. How did you get my wife's phone?" Frobisher asked.

"This is 1965, isn't it? All of this because of 1965. Frobisher, tell me, is it them? Have they come back?"

"Yes."

"That's why you tried to have me and Jared killed. Along with Andrew Staines and Ellen Hunt and Michael Sanders. And the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, they got caught in the crossfire. Assuming Jared would tell them everything, and he would since he opens up to the people he trusts. All of us dead so no one could say anything, is that it?"

"I had no choice."

"Well, I've got a choice. Do you want to hear my choice? I could blow this thing sky high. I could tell the world, unless you get me into Thames House. I demand to talk to the 456 myself. Think about it. The fact that they've come back proves that they can't be trusted. You need me." Jack said. "And you need Jared, he has been through a lot like me. He lost two of his friends, Penny Polendina and Pyrrha Nikos. In a battle, that proved him right, that he couldn't change things. He failed to save them, and it broke his heart immensely."

"Captain, we have your daughter and grandson. Alice and Steven Carter in our custody. And we also have the wielders of Igalima and Shul Shagana." Frobisher said.

"You what?"

"I promise, nothing will happen to them. I absolutely promise. So long as you agree to say nothing."

"Yeah? Well, how about I go back into that house right now and get your wife? And your children?"

"Except you won't, because you're a better man than me. I'm sorry, Jack. And tell Jared, I'm sorry." Frobisher said, ending the call.

"The world is still waiting for any news from Thames House. So far, the British Government is maintaining a policy of absolute silence, and the waiting continues." Louise Minchin said, on TV.

Warehouse…

Night has fallen. Clem is enjoying his hot dogs. Jared is playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate with Madoka, Sayaka, Kyoko, Homura, Hibiki, and Miku on a Smart TV that he stole a couple hours ago.

Gwen kisses Rhys and brings Clem a mug of tea, "Here you go."

"Save some for the rest of us, mate." Rhys said.

Jared then took out a Dance Dance Revolution console out of his backpack, that had been modified to the brim with tons of music he likes as well as the others like, "There you go."

"How did you…" Madoka said, her eyes widening.

"Nice house, isn't it?" Clem asked.

"We do our best." Gwen said.

"It's got shower facilities. Just stand under the skylight." Rhys said.

"I've stayed in worse. And who are the queers?"

"Oi! It's not 1965 any more." Ianto said, angrily.

"It really isn't." Sayaka said, crossing her arms.

"Um, what's a queer?" Homura asked, looking at Kyoko.

"They're queer. I can smell it." Clem said.

"I can't believe he said that in front of Homura." Jared said, as he began selecting a song on the console of the DDR machine. "Hmm...Connect?"

"Isn't that our theme song?" Sayaka asked.

"What do you think's in there?" Rhys asked.

"God knows. That's why we need Lois." Gwen said.

"No sign of her. Lenses inactive." Ianto said.

Thames House…

"Two minutes." Simon said.

"Er, I'm just gonna pay a visit." Lois said, walking away.

Lois checks that the ladies is empty, then puts in the contact lenses.

Warehouse / Ladies room…

"Online. She's doing it." Ianto said.

"Yes! Now that's what I'm talking about!" Jared said, happily.

Jared then did a couple dance moves for what's going on in the computer where the Eye 5 screen is, to appear on the bottom right of the DDR screen.

"It worked in our favor." Miku said. "But do you think she could handle it?"

Jared did a dance sequence so he could type out the word Thank U.

"Oh, God. Don't do too much of that." Lois said.

Warehouse…

"Don't do too much of that." The computer said.

"Sorry." Jared said, doing a single tap, and he disconnected the Eye 5 software from the Dance Dance Revolution machine. "This is all you, Gwen Cooper."

"She can't hear you." Madoka said.

"I know." Jared said, as he left Hibiki and Miku to play on the Nintendo Switch. "As long as those two are occupied. The games I have on there should keep them distracted."

"Is that you, Gwen? And was that Jared?" The computer asked.

Gwen types Yes its me. And yes it was Jared.

"Right then. Good luck." Lois said.

"Good luck." The computer said.

Sayaka presses a key. A yellow grin smiley face gets sent.

"Oh, don't do that, I hate smileys." Gwen said, annoyed.

"Took me a while to get used to those things." Rhys said.

"You've gotten good." Kyoko said, watching Jared go back and forth between the two pads. "Hell, maybe you're better than me now."

"Only if I get rusty." Jared said, laughing a lot. "But it does get tiring. That's why I keep myself busy by defeating Grimm."

"Which you haven't done in a while."

"Wait, you haven't fought Grimm in how long?" Madoka asked.

"Oh, a couple months or so." Jared said, looking over at the pink haired Magical Girl.

"So, you haven't fought any since you started hanging out with us." Sayaka said.

"Nope. I will get to fighting them again, someday."

Lois joins Bridget and Frobisher in the lift.

"That's him. That's John Frobisher." Ianto said.

"Oh, bastard. Fat lot of good that is. Back of his head, how do we know if he's saying anything?" Rhys asked.

Lift…

"I suppose it's an honour, given this position." Frobisher said.

"Then again, the Prime Minister has guaranteed that diplomatically he can't enter Floor 13, so whatever happens in there, whatever goes wrong, history will say that it wasn't his fault." Bridget said.

"Do you mean he's using me?"

"You don't get to be Prime Minister by accident."

Dekker leads the entourage into the contact room.

Warehouse…

"What the hell is that?" Kyoko asked, walking towards the computer screen.

"It's some kind of tank. Like the ones that holds fish. There's something inside the smoke." Sayaka said, frowning.

Lois takes her place behind the row of tables and chairs, and takes out a notepad. She is looking directly at the containment tank, between Frobisher and Bridge. Gwen types Get closer. She shakes her head.

"Clem, come and see this." Gwen said.

"It's okay, don't be scared." Madoka said, walking to the computer screen. "That thing is far away from us."

"What do you think, Clem? Anything you've seen before?"

"Can't smell it from here. Is that what tried to take me?" Clem asked.

"Yeah, I think so." Gwen said.

Frobisher walks forwards, and nods to the cameraman who is relaying the images to the Cabinet room.

"Y'know, I never found out their alien species back home." Jared said, doing a finishing move before loading up the Eye 5 software on the bottom right of the screen without taking control on the DDR machine. "I've read one fan fiction where they were thought to be Macra."

"Macra?" Hibiki asked, looking over at Jared. "What are they?"

Contact room…

"Thank you. If I might bring into session the first diplomatic congress between the representatives of Planet Earth, and the representatives of the 456. I bring you formal greetings from the United States of America, from the People's Republic of China…" Frobisher said.

Warehouse

"He's got his back to us." Ianto said.

"Yeah, I can see that." Gwen said, typing Need his moth.

"Seriously? Need his moth?" Sayaka asked. "What moth?"

"Shut up." Gwen said, looking at the blue haired Magical Girl.

Contact room…

"From the Holy See of Vatican City, from the Russian Federation and associated…" Frobisher said, as Gwen corrects her spelling. Need his mouth. "Of Australia, from the provinces and territories…"

Warehouse...

"This is why I thought we needed even more help." Jared said, as he is doing more combos on Dance Dance Revolution. "And Dance Dance Revolution, best way to distract myself. Thank you, Kyoko."

Contact room…

"...and Japan, and the Hellenic Republic, from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And it must be stated on the record that any country not named herein does not indicate their withdrawal from this…" Frobisher said.

Warehouse…

Lois moves to the side of the room, round behind the cameraman. Bridget watches her go.

"Oh, she's doing it." Madoka said, watching Lois do as she is told. "She's placing her faith in us."

Contact room…

"Reflects only the time span within which this summit has been declared." Frobisher said.

Warehouse…

"You've got eyes. You've got eyes in the room." Clem said.

"The software's not so good in profile." Ianto said.

Contact room…

"And according to the rules of protocol as established…" Frobisher said.

Warehouse…

"And according to the rules of protocol as established…" The computer said.

Kyoko then hopped onto the Dance Dance Revolution stage to compete with Jared, "You may have beaten some of my previous high scores. But there's no way I'm losing now."

"Oh, you're so one. And plus, I really hate these five days." Jared said, smirking. "They're pretty much hell for me. The worst kind."

"By 1968, that which we established by the United Nations…" The computer said.

"You hate smileys." Rhys said.

"Shut up." Gwen said.

Contact room...

"I must ask you to state whether these greetings are accepted." Frobisher said, waiting for a good connection. "Do you understand me?"

Warehouse...

"Do you understand me?" The computer asked.

Contact room...

"I repeat, according to the rules of protocol, as established by the United Nations in the directives of…" Frobisher said.

"Yes." The 456 said.

"Then I thank you on behalf of…" Frobisher said.

Warehouse...

"Then I thank you on behalf of the United Kingdom." The computer said.

"Are you okay?" Miku asked, walking towards Jared.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Jared said, getting off another dance combo, beating Kyoko. "I'm just fine. Totally."

"You sure?"

"The Russian Federation, the Commonwealth of Australia, the provinces and territories of Canada, and Japan, and the Hellenic Republic, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq…" The computer said.

Lois writes on her notepad.

"It's bloody shorthand." Rhys said, annoyed.

"No, I can read it. It says yes." Ianto said.

"This is a nightmare." Gwen said.

Contact room…

"And the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I think it might be easier if we take those names as read from now on, don't you?" Frobisher asked.

A splat of green liquid against the glass and noises inside. Some tentacles thrash about. One aide runs from the room to be sick.

"That's a lot of slime." Sayaka said, looking at the computer screen.

"The hell's going on?" Kyoko asked.

"What's it doing?" Ianto asked.

"What, is that what it said?" Rhys asked.

"No, that's Lois saying that." Ianto said.

Gwen types God knows.

"Are you all right?" The computer asked.

Contact room…

"I'm sorry, but I can't help being concerned. Is there a problem?" Frobisher asked.

"I'm sorry, but I can't help being concerned, is there a problem?" The 456 asked.

"Do you want me to continue?"

"Yes."

Warehouse…

"Yes." Ianto said.

"Right, then. In the spirit of cooperation…" The computer said.

Contact room…

"We have a formal request to make. We ask you not to use our children for communication…" Frobisher said. "In case certain parties or territories might consider that a violation. Is that acceptable?"

Another long pause.

"Yes." The 456 said.

Warehouse...

"Yes." Ianto said.

"Thank you." The computer said.

"I don't like this." Jared said, jumping off the Dance Dance Revolution pad. "Kyoko, this is all yours."

"The hell's wrong with you?" Kyoko asked, still keeping up with the combos. "You sure you can handle this?"

"Nah. I'm fine." Jared said, taking out some bubble tea to drink it. "I'm still stressed out. Over the 456. It's like, it's like I have to beat them."

"And as a gift, and as welcome to this world…" The computer said.

Contact room…

"We've prepared a document summarising our culture and history." Frobisher said, and Pierce's question is passed on to his representative in the room. "This document can be made available to you immediately, though its format remains undetermined. Said format remains of your choosing, though this does not constitute a request for information on, or transfer of specific 456 technology." The note is handed to Frobisher. "I have been given a request for specific information. It has been asked why the 456 chose Great Britain as its chosen point of embarkation."

"We came here…" The 456 said.

Warehouse…

"We came here…" Ianto said.

"Um, why did it come here?" Homura asked.

"That's all it's said."

Contact room…

"You have no significance. You are middle men." The 456 said, and Jared laughed a little.

Warehouse…

"You have no significance, you are middle men." Ianto said.

"This is a lie. The 456 have been here before, right? It's back again, so why? Why's it lying?" Madoka asked, walking to Ianto.

"It's Frobisher. He's got that thing to lie. They're on the same side. Whatever happened in the past, they're hiding it." Ianto said.

Contact room…

"We have a request." The 456 said.

"By all means." Frobisher said.

"We want a gift."

"Of course. But what nature of gift…"

Warehouse…

"What nature of gift exactly?" The computer asked.

Contact room…

"A gift? Gladly. But what do you want?" Frobisher asked.

"We want your children. We will take your children." The 456 said, as there is more vomit and banging.

Warehouse…

"This is why I always hated this. It's the Incubators all over again. But on a massive scale." Jared said, looking down sadly.

"We will take your children." Ianto said.

"Why? Why would it want children? Wasn't the Incubators using us girls enough?" Sayaka asked.

Contact room...

"I'm sorry, I think that there might be a problem with the translation." Frobisher said.

Warehouse…

"If I could just ask…" The computer said.

"They want to take them, like they did before. Like the man did. He's coming back. He's coming back." Clem said.

"Not now, Clem. Just wait." Gwen said.

"He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming. He's coming." Clem said, and Jack enters.

Contact room…

"By children, you mean…" Frobisher said.

"Your descendants. The offspring of the Human race." The 456 said.

"How many?"

"Ten percent. We want ten percent. We want ten percent of the children of this world. More than what the Incubators wanted. For their purposes."

Warehouse…

"He hasn't changed. He's the same. He's the same. He's the same. All those years, how can he be the same?" Clem asked, looking at Jack.

"What's he talking about, Jack?" Gwen asked, looking at Jack, then at Jared. "Jared, do you know?"

"Yes." Jared said, as Madoka walked towards the fanboy to comfort him when he started crying. "Yes. I do."

"Clement MacDonald. Just another name. It was easier if you didn't know the names." Jack said.

"Jack, you were there in 1965?" Gwen asked.

"He was. And I knew it was coming. I placed it in the back of my mind palace. To forget about it." Jared said, as tears fell down to the ground. "Since this was one of the things I wanted to forget. One of the many things."

"He was the man." Clem said.

"No, no, this is what he does, you see. He fights them. He fights aliens. Like what Jared does on a daily basis with Symphogear and Magical Girls. Isn't that right, Jack?" Gwen asked.

"No." Jack said.

"Then what were you doing there?"

"I gave them the kids. 1965, I gave them twelve children."

"What for?"

"As a gift."
