Leon is a grand mage one of the ten strongest people on the continent. But one day he and eight other grand mages were betrayed by the last grand mage and sealed away. Leon managed to escape now, in search for revenge and a way to free his friends he fights the traitor while destroying half the country. He won but he didn't manage free his friends. So he decides to roam the world searching for a solution but everything changed when he meets Nadita...

The Traveling Mage

"Please don't kill me! I will give you everything! Do you want my body?"


The girl panicked even more than before and even started to strip down. The man laid his hand on her shoulder to stop her.


"Don't worry I won't do anything to you. My name is Leon, and this is Andy. What's your name?"


Said the mage pointing towards the dog. The mage whose face was now clearly visible and looked to be around sixty years old with a long beard that looked way to white for his age. He had gentle features, but he had a hint of sadness in his eyes as if something precious had been taken from him and he still hasn't gotten over it. 


The girl answered in a quiet and scared voice. The girl looked to be around ten years old with blonde hair and cute facial features. Leon smiled at her and shook her hand.


"You should go home now it is already dark and this city is not safe for kids at night."


"Wait you can't leave me alone my parents were killed, and I have no other family. I am sure to starve to death if I haven't been killed by then."


"I can't take care of you I will leave this city today. Go to an orphanage they will take care of you."


Even though Leon said that the girl kept following him. He started picking up a fast walking in hope of loosing the girl in the crowd. But when he looked over his shoulder, he could see her still following him.


Shouted a guard. That moment Leon noticed the mistake he made. After disposing of the scum in the alley he didn't change his clothes and was still wearing a robe. He started running he could have teleported but for the people of this city teleporting was nothing but a fairy tale, so it was better to keep it that way. He ran into an alley and opened a portal he quickly rushed trough the portal and closed it. When he exited, he stood on top of a cliff that looms over the city of Linota.


"So, this is how the city looks from up here."


Leon slowly turned around towards the voice and his suspicion confirmed itself. There was Nadita standing behind him.
