Magic Academie

The mage completely covered in blood had a really confused look on his face but he looked like a heavy weight was lifted from his shoulders until he realized that whatever killed the dragon would be able to easily kill him.

"Who are you?"

The mage flinched but turned around. Behind him was a man that looked to be in his sixty's to be precise it was Leon.

"My name is Tim I'm a veteran mage of the country of Lijanos and who are you?"

He still seemed frightened but after seeing that the dragon was killed by a human, he may come out alive because humans could be reasoned with.

"My name Leon I'm a traveling mage."

Traveling mages were mages that belonged to no country or guild. They had no authorities so; their strength level is never tested. It's not unheard of that traveling mages reach the sage level without noticing. It was even said that many of the ten legendary grand mages were traveling mages. He would definitely be dead if he were a mage from another country, but a traveling mage would pull no advantage from killing him.

"I'm pleased to meet you. May I ask where you are going?"

He was a little bit worried because when Leon enters Lijanos there could be trouble. He wasn't eager to see a whole city eradicated just because someone offended him.

"We are going to Bautzfleth up north in Lijanos. May I ask why a powerful mage like you would be here in the middle of nowhere?"

"That's difficult because I'm not allowed to talk about that. But did you say we?"

He was little confused because he could only see the mage and no one else. But then he realized there was someone standing behind the mage it was a girl about ten years old.

"Is that your child?"

He was a little confused because traveling mages normally travel alone and had as good as never children because they preferred to stay alone and study.

"No, she is my apprentice. She reached the magico stage quite recently so I'm planning to sign her in on an academy so she can be around other people her age. The bullshit they teach there is irrelevant she just needs to learn a little teamwork and control over her emotions."

Tim was enraged because the magic academies where the whole pride of Lijanos. Their number of mages was not as impressive as Rem's but in quality they could easily compete. On the other hand he couldn't show that because Leon could easily kill him and reaching magico stage at such an age was an impressive feat nothing their academies could do.

"Do you want me to accompany you and I can also recommend you at a school."
