It was a dark and gloomy night, Yumi and the rest of team Natsu just completed their mission and was camping out since it was late at night and dangerous to travel. They were grilling some fish for dinner as they were getting a little hungry. "Yumi~ Can you grill it faster? I'm really hungry~" Happy whined as he was getting impatient and hungrier by the second.

Yumi replied with a small smile and breathed out a small fire directly onto the fish. Happy smiled and cheered, he loved her doing that as he gets the fish faster and it was also really cool. She handed over the perfectly grilled fish, "Here, Happy." She said with a small smile as she continued to grill the other fishes normally using the campfire.

"Yumiiiii, why does Happy gets to eat first! I'm hungry too." Natsu complained and pouted after seeing Happy happily eat his dinner. Yumi shot a glance at Natsu, "I would love to cook all of these using my fire, but I exhausted too much magic today." Yumi replied with an apologetic look on her face. This resulted in Natsu getting whacked in the head by Erza. "Idiot! Yumi took on most of the monsters today by herself! Don't make her anymore tired than she already is!" Erza chided.

Lucy nodded in response to Erza's words, "I agree, I don't want Yumi to get sick again!" Lucy added. A small smile made its way to Yumi's face, she was really thankful to have them as her family. "The fishes are ready." She announced as a hungry Natsu dashed towards her.

She giggled lightly at her brother's unglamorous way of eating, he was practically breathing down the fishes one by one. "Thanks Yumi, your cooking is always so good." Gray said, as he reached for a second stick of grilled fish. Wendy chimed in, "Yeah! Yumi-san's cooking is so good! I wish I could cook as well as her!".

A light blush grazed Yumi's cheeks, she isn't used to compliments yet or maybe she never will, she was embarrassed by their high praise. She waved her hands in deniel, "My cooking is just average! Wendy is pretty good at cooking too!" She replied as she denied their compliments.

Then, a loud growl came from not far away, it was pretty dark so it was kind of hard to see anything. Yumi took it upon herself to make sure everyone can see, she conjured up a light ball and floated it to the direction of the nasty growling.

It was a large monster, a beast. They weren't very far off to the town and if this thing gets there, there would be much bloodshed. Yumi got up and heightened her senses, "I'll settle it." She informed as she dashed towards the beast. "Ice Dragon's Iron Fist!" She shouted as she punched the best with her fists coated in ice.

The beast growled in pain and recoiled a little, it then swiped its massive arms that were equipped with blades. She was tired after using so much of her magic today, and her movements were slower than usual.

Yumi didn't manage to dodge properly and got a nasty gash across her arm. Yumi hissed in pain, she coated that injury with ice as to stop the bleeding temporarily. Then the rest of Team Natsu came to help her out with the fight. But to no avail, their bodies were littered with cuts. Natsu hissed in pain, "How are none of our attacks touching him!" He growled in anger.

Then, Yumi was the first one to start to feel the effects of the poison. The beast's blades were covered in a deadly poison. She started feeling a little dizzy then the cut started to burn like it was on fire. It also felt like her whole body was getting pierced by something and it hurt pretty damn bad.

She screamed in pain, she tried to cleanse her body using her healing magic but her magic ran out. She simply overworked herself today. The rest of the team started to feel the effects of it and fell to the ground in pain. The last thing she saw before she went unconscious was that everyone was screaming in pain and on the ground.

Yumi was encased in darkness. All she could feel was pain and anxiety, she was incredibly worried for her teammates even more than herself. Her body was in immense pain, it felt a couple of ribs were broken and so is her right wrist, her ankle felt like it was sprained too.

She focused on the pain, so as to not fall unconscious again, she was determined to help out the team. This resulted in Yumi slowly regaining her consciousness.

Her eyes fluttered open, but she was greeted with an unfamiliar sight. She was in a room with pale blue walls and a white ceiling. She also noticed that one of her wrists were handcuffed to the bed, she observed the surroundings. It smells like an infirmary with lots of medicine and there was a needle in her hand.

She heard multiple footsteps and lay back down, pretending to sleep. The door was opened, there seems to be 4-5 people here. "Wake up, I know you aren't sleeping." One of the men said. Yumi opened her eyes and sat upright. "Where am I and why do I have handcuffs on me." She asked with a serious tone as she glared at the men.

"You're at the Hosu General Hospital, and you're handcuffed because you are a suspected villain." He informed. Then he continued, "What were you doing at Musutafu when the sludge villain attacked?" He interrogated.

Yumi kept quiet, not knowing what he was saying. She thought over what responses to give him so that it would clear his suspicions. She decided to tell them the truth, as to not complicate things. "I'm actually from Earthland, I'm not sure as to where I was before this or how I came to this world."

The man looked at another which replied, "She's telling the truth." He confirmed. A look of surprise came across the men's faces. "Did you see anyone else when you brought me here?" Yumi questioned, worried for her family.

The men shook his head. Yumi felt disappointed, but she shook it off. "Do you have a quirk? How did you end up so injured and what is Earthland?"

"What is a quirk?" Yumi asked, clearly confused.

"It's like your supernatural ability." He replied.

Realization hit Yumi, he must be talking about her magic. "You mean my magic? I'm an elemental dragon slayer. I was out on a mission with my team but was ambushed by a monster at night and Earthland is where I came from." She explained.

They went outside and spent an hour discussing on what to do with Yumi and of course Yumi with her dragon slaying hearing, could hear them perfectly. She was confused at their choices.

They came back into the room and announced, "You would be attending UA as a student, also for us to monitor your powers to make sure you aren't doing any harm to anyone." Yumi sighed, she didn't want to be dealing with people. "What's in it for me?" Yumi replied.

"You would be attending the sports festival and it's broadcast to the whole of Japan, so your teammates could find you easily." He replied, knowing that this offer is one that she can't refuse.

Yumi nodded her head in agreement, "I guess I'll attend UA or whatever." She replied. He smiled in response, "You would be staying in the dorms and you would get a small allowance each day for you to buy food and necessities." Yumi grimaced at the thought of attending school.

He then continued, "Also, you would be discharged tomorrow and people would bring you to the academy." Yumi nodded her head in understanding. Then the people left the room after they were done interrogating her. Yumi pulled her right wrist and broke the handcuff, 'Well, I didn't mean to pull so hard.' As she looked at the pieces of metal on the ground.
