the portal and the guards:chapter five

just before we were about to leave a portal opened up and i fell into it i was still carrying all of my stuff but the most alarming thing was the fact that my outfit changed i was now wearing a light blue v neck and a blue jacket that tucked at the belt and their was a blue almost white hanging down over my right leg i was wearing dark blue pants the outfit had black slaves but they were not connected to the shoulders were there was know shoulder pads the jacket hung down to the back of my knees and i was now wearing black knee high boots with gold designs there was also the same designs on the sleeve there was gloves fingerless attached to the sleeves.

there was also space for my wings and tail i was wearing a gold crown that lay across my forehead and went above my heman ears and back around my head the belt was black with a gold buckle i spread my wings and stopt falling and saw that i was next to two giant doors guarded by 50 men and women in armor all with wings and wolf ears and tails they all bowed in unison when they saw me.

but i realised my mom and dad were behind me and they were the ones being bowed to i turned around and saw them my dad was wearing something similar to the outfit i wore but the crown he was wearing was much bigger and more decorative and the colors were different my mom wore a dress that was black as midnight that was covered in the gold designs her crown was a beautiful gold and had a ruby in the center my dad had an onyx gem in his crown when they saw the gem in my crown they were delighted.

my mom said "you have an spiffier"she was overflowing with joy my dad said "the next grate mage "i looked at them confuzed "mage?"i asked "what do you mean by that"i said my mom simply waved her hand in front of her and sparks the colors of the rainbow and every color in between flared in front of her i stood staring at the sparks my father lafed my mom did too.

"the look on your face says your amazed"said my mother "mhm"i said distracted by all the colors "ahh i forgot to turn them off" my mom chuckled and waved her hand again when she did i finally came to my senses as the sparks faded and said"should we go inside" my father said.

"yes we shall" and in a deep voice he said"OPEN THE GATES" the guards stumbled to do just that after they pulled the lever my mother directed us in side and told the coach driver to take them to the palese.
