Chapter twenty- one

Hailey's POV

I woke up feeling very excited and sad.Excited because all my gadgets were back to me and sad because I caught André kissing J.

We hadn't broken up yet and I knew he had some explaining to do.My parents had left for work early in the morning and I had made up mind to go to J's hous

I showered and dressesd up.I was just about to drive my car out the gates when one of my body guards approached me.I rolled my eyes at him.

"Ma'am please I have strict orders to not let out without you by my side"

"I'm fine,besides,My parents know,I called them to let them know that I will be going out"I lied

"Are you sure ma'am"He asked suspiciously

"Yes"

"Wait here.I'll call them"

He walked a few feet away from my car,taking his phone from his pocket and pressing the screen.

Don't sit there like that,drive on.He doesn't even know where you're going

I instructed the security man to open the gates but he didn't.

"I said open them"I shouted at him

I could hear my body guard telling me not to go but I drove out anyway.

I drove until J's home was in sight.I parked my car on her street in front of her house and rang the bell.

J's mother opened the gates for me.I greeted her with politeness and she told me that J was in her room.

"Should I get some juice for you"she asked when we were in the living room.

I declined "No thanks aunt,I'm good.Besides I just came here to meet J and I won't stay long"

"Ok then you can go now"

I opened the door to J's bedroom and her eyes lit in amusement.

She quickly stood up from her bed and approched me.

"Ha.....Hailey,I did...-didn't know you were coming here"She stammered

"Don't worry,I won't stay long"

"Have a seat"She pointed her finger at her bed.

I shook my head in disagreement.

"I know you're here to talk about what happened yesterday"She looked down at the carpet.

"You guessed right,J"

"I just want you to know that I'm sorry.I didn't mean to....I didn't know he was your boyfriend"She stammered

"I know you didn't mean to.Of course,like you always say but you can't fool me.You were caught kissing your best friends boyfriend remember?"

"Yes I do remember.I'm really sorry Hailey"

"Yes you should be but I'll forgive you only on one condition"

I didn't give her chance to talk before I slapped her and walked out of her room.

I entered the code to Andre's apartment and noticed the defeaning silence and the dark.

I turned on the lights and looked around to see if he was around.

He wasn't so I relaxed in the couch and turned on the television.

Ida's POV

"Ma'am we were so worried about you"Rea asked concerned

"I'm fine"I said sadly and laid on my bed

"Where were you ma'am .For once in my life I thought you were kidnapped"

"I wasn't and I'm fine"

Rea took a seat on my bed and looked at me.

"You look sad" She touched my back

"Yes of course I am.My best friend left without telling me she stays"I turned around to see a concerned Rea.

"You shouldn't be sad.If she is really your friend she'll call you or let you know how she is....maybe at school"

What Rea just said hit my mind.She was right.I would see Xoey at school tomorrow and let her tell me where she was staying.

"I'll go now ma'am"Rea straightened her white attire

"Wait!"

Really turned around and placed her hands on her waist.

"I want you to start packing up my stuff starting from tomorrow.Mom said I'll be leaving soon but I don't know when....but pack....you know.....you'll never now when I'll go" I stammered,scrating my hair.

I know that I'm suposed to pack my stuff on my own but,Hey! What are they paying her for.

She sighed and agreed.

"Ok ma'am.I'll start tommorrow"

I went to the kitchen and saw Rea preparing supper.

I leaned on the kitchen counter,my eyes fixed on the food she was preparing.

"You know"I began"you'll have this big house all to yourself and the maids when I leave.Lots and lots rooms here"

She looked at me weirdly"Do you mean you'll never come back and I'll be given this big mansion"

I laughed at this and when I stopped laughing she was fixing a hard stare on me.I cleared my throat and stood correctly

"Maybe.If I go there I can purchase a house"I was serious this time.

"Ha Ha very funny ma'am.Nice try but I'm not into your tricks anymore"

"I'm serious that is if mom and dad don't come to stay here"

A small smile broke on her face and she turned her head away from me so that I won't see but I actually did see it.

I opened the refrigerator and took out a bottled water and gulped it down.

Andre's POV

"Why my high school.There are several others in this country"

She rolled her eyes at me and answered

"Seriously Dre,I want to come to yout high school.You know I just moved to high school and you'll be completing soon"

Maybe she was right.I be completing soon.

"Ok so let's get going"I stood up and dusted the dirt off my jeans and picked up most of her luggage while she picked her designer bag.

We packed it in my car and we drove to our place.

"Mmmmh nice taste,bro"she pushed my arm and I smiled at her.

Before I got into the elevator,the receptionist called me.

"Sir please,a girl has come to visit you.She says she is your girlfriend.I prevented her from going to your apartment but she said you know her and she knows the code to your apartment"

"Thank you"

I gave Lilly-Belle it's an okay smile.We got into the elevator and arrived at my apartment.

"Lil why don't you go and get some ice cream"

She crossed her arms and smirked "Like seriously,What I'm I, ten?"

I scratched the back of my neck and looked at her luggage.

She was right she can't be fooled anymore.The days I used to fool her were behind.

I knew who the receptionist was talking about.Hailey,of course.

I didn't want Lily-Belle to see Hailey.

She was faster than I thought she entered the code to my apartment and her eyes widened with surprise.

How did She knoe my code.It's so obvious;my birthday.I used my birthday date for my passwords.

She turned to face me.I dropped her luggage on her floor and lifted her with the shoulders,and put her behind me.

I turned around to see Hailey standing up from the sofa and looking behind me.

"So that's what you've been hiding,bro"She moved from her position and moved beside me.

I looked at Hailey in the eyes as she moved closer to me.

"So you haven't had enough with bringing girls to your apartment, huh"

I held up a hand and she shut her mouth.

"I'll go to my supposed room now " she entered one of the rooms, came out and entered the other,leaving her luggage on the floor.

"Hailey what an unexpected visit" I put my hands in my pocket.

"Yeah,I know. I should have listened to you yesterday"She said more like she was apologising

"I was drinking beer when she came to me kissed me" I started

"I'm sorry Dre"She apologised finally

"Yeah we fine"

"Does that mean we are...you know...."

She stammered drawing her two index fingers together.

I got her sign.

"Yeah" I hugged her

She hugged me tighter.

"Oh Hailey you are so soft when you come near me"
