Chapter 3: The Great Escape I

Setting: Ambulin Hospital January 10th, 2020

6:15.p.m

"The patient is still unresponsive" says a nurse.

"It's been long enough I think it is time to pull the plug. We can't prolong this anymore." a doctor replies looking at the unconscious species.

"Give him a few more hours"

"Hm, alright . Tomorrow if he doesn't get up we are done waiting."

7:23.p.m

"Trevor, Trevor" says a voice filled with authority. Instantly the eyes on the semi-lifeless body flew open. Similar to the ones of a newborn the eyes explored its surrounding.

"Trevor" the voice calls out again.

"Hello...." the person answered uncertainly.

"Thank God your finally up."

"You are"

" Crap you....*sigh* I am Tray, your wolf."

" So I am a were wolf," the boy says trying to put two and two together, " and I am Trevor..."

" You are Trevor Bernard the second, your not exactly a-..."

"Not exactly a....."

"Neverminded, we just need to get out of here."

"So how do you suppose we do that?"

"You just have to follow my instructions. I have a plan" though Trevor was confused he knew no one else. So he made a decision to follow along with Tray. The plan was, Trevor gets up pulls out the cords that connected him and the machine. Then he would need to find a bag to place some essentials in. Take the elevator to the ground floor, the hardest part was walking casually past the guards who are suppose to make sure no patient leaves before their time and maintain order. Trays plan seemed straightforward at least to Tray himself. He clearly didn't consider how a coma patient feel about risking their life again. Though the plan was outstanding, it as just not for someone who was trapped unconscious for three years.

" You can do this Trevor. I know you can."

"But how can? I don't think I even remember how to walk, let only fight if I cant walk suspiciously."

"Don't worry. At six there is not much people here. We will start then, for now rest tomorrow we will escape."

6:00am

Trevor opens his eyes and starts scanning the room. When he was sure he was in the clear he got up, and looked at all the plugs hooked up to him. Trying to figure out the complex puzzle but to frighten of the outcome to make a move.

"Tray how do these work," Trevor ask pointing at the bungles to the corner.

"To be extremely and totally honest-"

"Let me stop you, most times someone uses that phrase they have been lying before."

Tray sighs " Nvm that and stop staring a hole in my head. Just know I don't have any clue how that works." Trevor then mentally face palms himself seeing where this plan was a swimming pool of death. Nervously he began to detach the cords one at a time. With each plug he removed his anxiety gradually grew.

"I think your really overreacting just yank them out."

"Easy for you to say this is only your temporary body if I die you go to someone else." Tray decided to keep quiet and let him be. After what seemed like a year of waiting Trevor was no longer entangled by cords. Slowly he began to move of the hospital bed wobbling, but thanks to him being a supernatural being* he didn't have to do rehab to start walking or running -_-. During his morning scan he had already found a bag . Rummaging through the cupboards of the tiny room he managed to find bottles of water, medicine, a first aid kit, meat and a compact oxygen tank just to name a few items. He make sure to pack light so the luggage would not interfere with his movements. Trevor was on his way to the door when Tray stopped him.

"We can not go outside like this you need a disguise." Trevor then feel the wind on his butt checks and looked back.

"I see your point" Trevor looks in the closet in hopes of finding something to play dress up in.

"But there is nothing here," Almost feeling defeated he did a last look round to get a glimpse of a purple fabric on the counter behind the monitor, " Trayyyy I think I found something." He picks up a purple scrub, stethoscope, a mask and a white coat.

"It is worth the shot, it is better than what you have on now."

Trevor rolls his eyes and puts on his costume "Ready, cause its time to go." He then pokes his head out the door looking left right then left again as if crossing a road to insure there was no one the corridor. When he was satisfied that it was safe he exited the room bag in his right hand He then walked to the elevator, while constantly checking to make sure the coast was clear. He attempted to walk as casual but alas it was only an attempt. Once he made it to the elevator, he check one last time then gave a sigh of relief. Few seconds later Trevor was doing his new found pleasure observing with his eyes. From his belief exploration he found out that this building has 10 floors and they were leaving the 10th floor. Act observation was this building was a hospital, Ambulin Hospital. As the elevator approached the ground floor Trevor began to lose his cool. Thoughts flood his mind, thoughts like what if the disguise doesn't fool the guards, or my walk is not casual enough and they recognized he shouldn't be down here. The ocean of doubt became deeper and deeper drowning out Tray's words of comfort. Trevor proceed to face his last obstacle, while still struggling inwardly. The elevator chimed signaling that they have arrived to the first floor. Save by the bell is not the idiom to express what was happening. The doors open and he slowly his head out looking left and right once again.

"HEY! YOU!"
