 I had to remind myself for the millionth time that Reece was doing what he thought was best. Even though he was a misogynistic, overgrown cave dog that thought I couldn't help protect myself. I knew deep down that he was right, though. That whoever attacked us before could come back. That next time I might not get away or someone I care about might get hurt.
