Life isn't a bed of roses,it's like a rose bush. You go through thorns to get to roses.The roses are the happy moments whereas the thorns are the painful moments. 
You might wanna stop, tired and scared of getting pricked but you must not.

The burnt roses

Afterall she doesn't exist in the eyes of the world.....


Ruby stood up facing the peach door blocking her way to the hallway. Bringing her hand up to the doorknob but couldn't bring herself to open the door.


She messed up, she messed up big. Noone was supposed to know that she exist and he knows. There she pitying her skills after his mocking when there is a problem much bigger, the problem with her existence.


She needs to tell Mark, he is the only one who can help her, the only one she can trust.


While the boys were leaving through the front door, Skyler turned to mark and said, 'I will find your special video game stash one day!I swear to God i-'


'Shut up Sky and get your dumb ass in the car or I will leave without you', Ethan interrupted. Skyler huffed and got in the car.


As they all left, Felix took a long glance at Mark's face hoping to find an answer to the question he asked earlier, but only got a cold glare in return.


He didn't know how to start the conversation, be angry that she revealed herself putting herself in an unexpected and unfortunate situation or be a caring brother and hug her asking what did his blond friend did to make her cry.


Ruby sat on the floor playing with her fingers nervously as Mark entered the room. As he entered his little sister hugged him and trying to hold her tears back, while he patted her head trying to calm her down. Looking at the situation he finally decided to be the caring brother.


'What happened Ruby? How did you come across Felix? ', he spoke in a soft tone as if she would break if he raised his voice even an octave.


'F-felix?... I guess that is the name of that egotistical jerk.. '


Mark chucked lightly at Ruby calling someone a jerk, I mean someone so pure like Ruby calling anyone a jerk isn't a sight you see everyday.


Ruby went further explained what happened, how he fell and ruthlessly mocked her.


'But that's not the main problem I don't care what he says now, it hurted me but I am stronger than that I won't let his words hurt me..... The problem is-'


'He knows about you now?', Mark completed her sentence.


'Don't worry we will find a way to cover it up sis, it will be fine okay?'


'Ruby, Mark.. Is there something I need to know?', a familiar cold masculine voice echoed through the room.


They both knew who it was and they both knew they are doomed.
