Chapter Seventeen

Athena and Uta prepared things for the new arrival. They visited the doctor often for check ups. They were excited to finally be perants again but sadly they still had that feeling of fear in the back of the mind.

Month one

Uta told Athena to go on leave from the shop. She refused at first but gave in. She was only a month along and yet he was protective over her but she knew why. The month went by smoothly and without problems.

Month two

Touka came and visited a lot in her break times. She helped Athena out around the house and went with her to the shops. She asked Athena questions about the baby, careful not to bring up bad memories.

Month Three

This was it. This was the month she lost her child before hand. She feared for her babies life. Her tummy started showing a small bump. Uta was all over her. He was just as worried as her since it was the third month. They stayed by each others side. Never being left alone.

Month Four

Her belly grew bigger and her smile widened. This was the first for her. Uta bragged about how beautiful his wife is and how happy he is he'll be a dad. They spoke more about the baby and went for more check ups. She wasn't allowed to go anywhere alone. It was just for safe keeping.

Month Five

Her belly was even bigger now. So big that she couldn't deny it anymore. She really was pregnant. She smiled at herself in the mirror. It was a site to remember for Uta. He was beyond happy.

Month Six

The baby started kicking and Athena's cravings grew more and more. She always allowed Uta to feel the baby kicking. He loved talking to the baby too. You both where excited to see your little one.

Month Seven

She smiled and shared ideas of what they want for the baby. Her belly was huge and it limted her movement. It was a restless baby for it kicked many times. Uta bet it was a boy and she said its a girl.

Month Eight

They set the baby room up. Renji and Touka was there to help since Athena had to take it easy. It was a beautiful room.



She made it gender neutral since you dont know the sex of your baby and she dont want to either. It was a surprise.

Month Nine

She had to be extra careful now. She was close to her due day and didn't want to push it. They went for one more check up just to make sure she's okay. It was finally here. They were finally ganna become perants.

Due Date

It was 2 in the morning when her water broke. They rushed to the hospital in lightning fast speed. The day has finally arrived. The doctors took her straight to a room and helped her. She went through a lot of pain and nearly broke Uta's hand in the process. Finally after a the pushing and screaming, Athena gave birth to not only one but two beautiful babies. One was a baby little girl with black hair and blue eyes the other was a baby little boy with blonde hair and onyx eyes. Uta and Athena's wish came true. They both got two beautiful babies.

After a couple of days Athena was finally allowed to go home. They had to add some thing in the room and change it up a bit since its not only one but two babies. They threw a little welcome party and invited all they're friends. Renji couldn't stop playing with them and Touka couldn't stop begging to hold them. Everyone was having a great time, all the tenstion from the months and fear from losing or being hurt finally disappeared. They were finally a family.
