Fire alarms pt 2

(A/N: The daddy of the yandere religion is back)

———————

After Aiya gave her assent to my request, I sat down at the other corner below the desk, holding my knees in front and staring at particularly nowhere.

Occasionally, we heard students scurrying along the corridor. Aiya trembled each time she heard the resonant footsteps and I could not help but notice that her fingers stiffened while grasping the hem of her skirt.

I could imagine her breathing sharpen with each passing second, and at some point

I decided to play my game, "Stop, you would make a puncture in your skirt," I said, boldly gabbing her trembling hand.

She snapped, retracting her hand as if my hand was a venomous snake, and coldly answered, "None of your business. Do not touch me again,"

"Alright," I kindly smiled on the outside and reached my hand again, this time only using two fingers, grabbing the cuff of her uniform, and raising it slightly to the side.

"Then I suppose this is OK."

She flinched, readying herself for another round of berating when we heard the third chorus of the alarm buzz in our ears.

Aiya panicked impulsively skidding in my direction, face forward planting her head right on my chest. She stayed there for almost a minute and only acknowledged what happened when the alarm stopped its boisterous outcry.

I almost sniggered when I saw her comically raise her head, while her ears turned searing red.

"Your welcome to stay there," I uttered playfully.

"Pervert!" she shouted, trying to jerk herself away.

"She trembling from top to bottom and still dragging the tough act, huh?" I thought, blowing a sigh, "I understand that you don't like to associate yourself with people like me, but I think at such an urgent time like this even a poor bumpkin boy like me can be of little trust,"

Aiya frowned, my words were suggesting hints of her hidden nasty character, she of course did not know she even held such a thing. But like my grandmother yelled once over the television, "That bitch definitely does,"

Though she was talking about a black and white Mexican series where the protagonist Rodrigo questioned his love maria if she accidentally had sex with his dad.

"I—It's not like that," she stammered, her short raven eyes scattered wildly on her forehead.

"Of course it is—it's always have been," I added. "I mean look at you, even while you vibrating like a Woodpecker on morphine, you still think I'm some kind of caustic rodent,"

Aiya just for a second forgot about the fire, glancing me up dead in the eyes, as if, of irritated surprise.

"I never looked down on you," she screeched at last.

"Oh, I did not expect she would get so defensive," I thought. Then, I took the chance to seize her thin fragile wrest, "Prove it then," I snorted.

Her face twitched, and I heard her jaw tighten.

And only after another round of students rushed by, she dropped back.

"Um?" I inwardly gaped, "I can influence people's beliefs too?"

"Hmph, Show me the requirements"

"Very good," It didn't take long before I gave my approval to Narcos.

Meanwhile, I felt a volcano eruption between my legs. "Don't be silly," Aiya said, body sustaining the heavy flush like a human thermostat.

I looked at her still keeping my pro scammer smile, to be honest, I really like this system for one thing and one thing only, he give me the chance to train brats.

"About the fire," I said contemplatively, causing her to wince.

"Why do you fear it so much," I uttered, deciding that asking directly might bear some results.

"F—Fire? I never feared F—Fire in my life," she proclaimed, slightly averting her gaze to her left arm.

I, of course, caught up on that, and asked, " A burn, maybe?"

Something in my tone seemed like it nettled her or maybe it's caused by me prodding on matters I shouldn't have prodded, but I felt the clasped wrist harden and discerned that she made a fist.

"What? you want to hit me?" I said releasing her arm, "Go ahead,"

Knowing her, she did not waste time and drove her fist forward lightly tapping my jaw, although I think she attended it to be a full-force punch.

"Hmm, it's definitely a burn," I continued, "Since when?"

"None of your business," she shouted, grabbing the side of her arm as if shading it from my sight.

"Lighten the mood? How am I supposed to do that with a sour girl like this one?"

That brought an extremely unpleasant memory from my teen life.

"Y-You wicked son of a bitch system don't tell me you talking about 'That burn'?"

Narcos left me bitterly on hang.

"Fuck,"

"It's nothing to be ashamed of," I scowled. "Back In the village, I was hidden in a Cow barn after I stole some chickens and to my misfortune, that day was a horse branding day,"

"Huh?" She gaped, expressions significantly shifting. "Cow branding? You mean the cruel thing they do to cattle backs?"

"And what could be if not that," I almost cried, "Shit—Anyway, I was there waiting while Grandpa Miho dogs sniffing outside, and to my surprise, some workers opened the barn and peered inside with orange sizzling iron poles in their hands,"

"And began branding each cow."

"A-And then," My voice cracked, "My port has been reached, and the only way to get out without the village people figuring out the village notorious thief is—"

"Acting like a proper Cow and give out my ass," I murmured, recalling the horrible pain.

Aiya's eyebrows traveled towards her hair, a cloud of astonishment almost forming over her head.

"What? You don't believe me?" I said, in a sniffly manner. "I still have it here somewhere, '100% Juicy Takehara Kobe beef,' it said, let me pull it out for you,"

"Noo!" Aiya cried out, waving her hand, "No need, I believe you,"

"What did you believe?" We heard a masculine voice hover above our heads, I looked up and saw Arima worried face.

"Brother!" Aiya said, "How did you find us? What about the fire?"

"It's a false alarm, teachers had already confirmed it, and the director soon would announce the misunderstanding," Arima reassured.

"So no fire?" Aiya said, heaving a sigh of relief, and giving her hand out for Arima.

"Nop, this was a major incident inside the school ground, I'm sure the director and parents counsel would be very disappointed, at least your safe, I really thought I would find you passed out somewhere —"

She tilted her head, and just for a second she eyed me and then took his hand, "I should've" she whispered.

He finally looked at me, "Oh, you are Miku's adopted brother, um, I keep forgetting the name— Ah, Yami right?"

"Yeah," I said, maintaining my placid gaze.

"Well glad you're safe," he said words racing out of his mouth. "Aiya, dad is dead worried about you come let's talk to him on the phone," Arima said, and off they went.

Meanwhile, Miku did not rush for the exit as I instructed her but headed to the girl's toilet. And was currently just finished washing

her face.

Her bewitching face reflected on the mirror, seemingly filled with pensive thoughts, as her finger caressed her right lower eyelid.

"Not mine anymore?" she mumbled, "What was I thinking back then? How could I be so stupid?"

"Why would someone sell a part of their body so willingly?" With a smack, she knocked her purse down, accidentally cutting her palm on the zipper.

She winced, feeling the pain surge.

Miku's face showed some revelation, "Pain, there's just pain, how come when he does it, it becomes something else," she pondered, her body recalling his house abuse.

A peculiar look descended on her face, as the memories rushed by, "Wonder how it would feel like," Miku said, "If he sliced my hand on a sharp zipper,"

She bit her lower lip searching for a rebounding thought, but her desires had already grown so strong, her morals and creed are on the edge of disappearinging.

Miku found herself smirking beyond her will, heart thumping loudly, as she realized something, "I did not know going crazy can be so much fun," she giggled totally out of character.
