"I'm such an idiot" Chang Wu walked into the bar, his head aching after what had happened. Xin could see someone wearing a red velvet suit from the entrance, and he wondered what was bringing rich people to his infamous pub.
"W-wait...is that Chang wu?" Bao asked. Xin raised a brow. He almost couldn't recognize him until Wu got closer.
"I never knew my best friend could be this handsome" Xin was shocked. Wu definitely looked like one of those rich folks over at Dabba.
Everyone was dumbstruck. This was the same man that lost his job and girlfriend two weeks ago. How did he glow up in such short notice?!
"Hey, hey handsome" Bao praised, but the glare Wu gave him indicated he wasn't in the right state of mind for jokes.
"What's wrong? The date didn't go well?"
"I almost lost her. I've never been so scared," He sighed. "A bottle of gin. I'll pay"
"Okay" Xin said with worry written all over his face.
As he poured Chang Wu a glass, he raised a question.
"Bro, Are you sure this isn't a sign that she's probably above your league?"
"You think I don't know? I think she had something with Fu Hong."
"W-wait...you're kidding, right? A politician's son?!"
"Why the hell was I so confident about winning her heart. She's very strict and intimidating. Having a date with her made me feel like I was at gunpoint and any wrong move would blow my brain out!"
It seemed like Chang Wu went way ahead of himself. If she didn't like her relationship with Fu Hong, then she's probably looking for someone better than him, and Chang Wu knew well, he wasn't up to someone so relevant in their society. Everyone literally knows Fu Hong's name, but As for Wu, he was no one worth mentioning.
"I can't give up yet. I just can't. She's a diamond I have to secure. I still have a Chance. Tomorrow is my only hope, and despite our distance now, I'm very sure I see a future with her."
No matter how many times she's crushed his confidence, he'd get back up again and prove to her he is a great guy and he's someone that would give his all.
"I'm not so certain if she called me for business or for a date. It's not so certain because we didn't end up discussing what she wanted us to."
"She dropped her landline so maybe it's for business," Xin shrugged "That's only a guess."
"Whatever it is. I'd treasure the opportunity to be close to her."
"Okay, one more thing before we change this scene" Bao who'd been ignored throughout the entire conversation was finally given a chance to speak.
"I don't think it's clear to the readers why you dislike middle-class women (keep in mind author replaced hate with a softer word to avoid triggering some readers)"
"Well, middle class women proved to me how evil they can be and if not for men like me, they'd be broke. I mean, middle class women want a man for their money while a rich and beautiful woman would definitely want a man for his love. You can't date a Middle class woman if you don't have money and once you hit hard times, they're gone, but rich women already have their own money and they don't depend on a guy to pay their bills. In fact, most of them offer support to their man when they hit rock bottom. But parasitic middle class women don't. I think they deserve the tag low class."

"I gave them my all, but they still deserted me. I'm not the richest guy, but I bought something for every one of them, and what did I get in return? Nothing. They all vanished out of my life in the blink of an eye. It's not bad if a guy like me wants to be pampered by a Lady and not worked to the bones like all those reliant parasites. What's wrong if I want to date a rich woman despite my actual status? It's obvious the society isn't fair to men. If I was a woman and Miss Qin was a man, it would probably be 'normal' then this kind of relationship would be approved without questioning. If a broke woman can date a rich man, then a broke guy can date a rich woman. This Is what I call equality. Nobody can tell me otherwise."
