"How old are you, Jessica?"

"I'm 12…"

"For a 12-year-old, you seem to have developed quite fast" The man reached out for her, but she quickly stepped back because of instincts.

"Huh? What's wrong? Don't you want us to bond?"

"I-i have homework to do."

"Okay then. I'll use this Time to make you something to eat."

"O-okay…" He smiled watching her walk away, then he made way for the kitchen.

Jessica was in her room when he opened the door without knocking then casually dropped the plate of porridge on her desk then pulled out an extra seat for himself.

"Want me to help you with your homework, I'm good at math."
