Part IV

Dizziness...

His legs were empty, and there was a rising feeling of nausea from his stomach. He slumps to the porcelain sink in the Airport's restroom and gawks at his sweaty form in the mirror.

There was a tightness in his throat, his eyesight was going blurry, and his desperate arms flailing for something else to clutch, to save him from this horrible fate.

The faucet drips into the sink, each one reverberating around the room like a cymbal, and he could feel the fear in his chest waiting to take over. It sat there like an angry ball, propelling him towards an anxiety he just didn't need.

His phone had rung six times, and it took him minutes before he realised it. At that moment he remembered his call with Xin which had to end early because of he spaced out, and now fear had his teeth locked tight together, preventing him from answering his girlfriend's call.
