The empress, the dragon, and the ghost conglomerated their attacks on the massive fiend whilst doctor Nan did everything he could to mitigate the chaos. The aid of 2 peak experts and the movement of the overwhelming Zodiac formation even the odds for the side of the empire.

However the fiend isn't without its own tricks. It may be deprived of its anime powers yet it still possessed ferocious power. It was far stronger then Sam was with his anime system.

"AIE" the fiend's power had reached its peak, it had also procured itself an army of shadow devils. However its opponents were far from weak. Long Chi Bai's titanic body attack the fiend with force. His dragon powers were also buffed by the Zodiac formation with Qiang Mei Hua's authority.

The dragon clashed against the fiend, both massive figures sailed across the sky. Long Chi Bai rammed the fiend with his horns and clawed at its body. However the fiend also responded with shadowy claws of its own.

Long Chi Bai's scales were incredibly tough, however the fiend's attacks had crossed the freehold of a True Immortal. The black shadow claws dripped out smoky aura as the fiend bought it down. It dug deeply into the dragon's white body.

"ARGH" Long Chi Bai's howls resounded through the city. He unleashed a powerful fire breath to push the fiend away. Doctor Chu's ghostly body fazed out of the ground below the fiend. His bladed arms slashed at the exposed fiend.

SHING!

One blade amputated the fiend's left arm. Chu climbed further into the sky avoiding the dragon fire before attacking the fiend with ghost screams of its own. "AIE" the fiend was injured three times and was forced to defend itself. A thin smoky bubble encircled it, protecting it from the fire.

"AIE" the fiend expanded out large wings of black smoky energy and flew towards doctor Chu. The old ghost created many phantoms to attack the fiend yet these phantoms were torn apart.

"Come back here" Long Chi Bai winded across the sky constricting himself around the fiend. The long white scaled serpentine body was able to catch the fiend in its grasps while Long Chi Bai's claws held the fiend in place.

The dragon began contracting the fiend brutally crushing it. Qian Mei Hua directed more power towards the dragon further amping him. The Zodiac formation was keyed to the emperor and designed specifically to help him. Qian Mei Hua could use it however he realm was too weak to fully take advantage of it.

The empress directed much of the energy to heal her contemporaries. From the rubble several Human Immortals and Demon Ascendents rose up. Their aura was weakened however they were still capable of fighting.

The sky above had long since taken a blood red colour. The presence of the fiend is upsetting nature itself. The fiend howled loudly into the air, its scream stunned everybody. Large amounts of energy circulated on the creature.

"AIE!"

With a massive shockwave the fiend bursted out of the dragon's grasp. "GAH" Long Chi Bai was thrown back by the force. The fiend followed and bit the old dragon's neck. The blood essence of the dragon was being absorbed by the fiend. "AAAGH" the dragon roared in agony.

"Stop him" the empress yelled out. She created a sandy sword and directed a blast at the fiend. Doctor Chu also dashed forth to save the dragon. The fiend noticed them both, it released the dragon and grabbed it by its tail.

The fiend swung the dragon around creating a hurricane that further ravaged the city. The empress' attack and doctor Chu struck the hurricane at once. The cyclone was black green in colour and felt putrid to their immortal senses.

The bear demon from below bellowed out a roar of its own. It was followed by a crane and a human who funnelled out large bursts of wind. Together they dispelled the massive hurricane.

"AIE" the fiend swung the dragon down at the bear demon. The old bear could dodge and was forced to use its physical strength to block the brunt of the attack. The other Human Immortals and Demon Ascendents also helped out to catch the dragon.

The old monk Lao Fu watched helplessly as this went on. He cursed at his own uselessness at this situation. The fiend was too powerful even for Human Immortals, what more him who was merely a 5th petal Nirvana Rebirth monk. At best he was half step Human Immortal.

Lai Fu struck towards the shadow devils. He easily destroyed them however they seemed to multiply quickly. The fiend had created these monsters from the bodies of his mind controlled 'friends', this process was called sinful devil creation and used the power of a mighty fiend to infect individuals. These individuals who were unable to fight the infection are doomed to become thralls for the fiend.

It seemed that the fiend went for quality over quantity, it spent large portions of its own power to create devils on par with early to peak saints. These devils also infected others creating more lesser devils. The end result was an all out battle between shadow devils and cultivators.

Traditionally buddhists possessed many astounding techniques that felt with devils. The Acala flames that was a core mantra of the Acala Buddha Temple was very effective. Lao Fu easily tore through the ranks of the devils. Even Yun Xiao Che began helping out by killing devils.

Up in the skies doctor Chu was caught by the fiend. It held the ghost in place with its right claws. "AIE" the fend had regrown a left claw with the draconic essence from Long Chi Bai. Its power was enhanced by the vitality of the dragon.

The fiend chopped down on the ghost. That now shop with the left claw ripped the doctor Chu's ethereal ghost body in half. Both portions his serpentine skeletal form dissipated mid air. A small ethereal pearl appeared in the air. This was the core of doctor Chu.

The fiend grasped towards but a surprising attack from a tired looking white dragon and a big bear halted its path. Another swordsman attacked by stabbing the fiend. The fiend broke out of their encirclement and slapped the three away.

"AIE, that is mine!" The fiend glided towards the pear by thick sandy light impacted its chest. Doctor Nan stepped in to protect the pearl while the empress commanded the Zodiac formation to attack the fiend.

"AIE!" The fiend was bushed back from the pearl. A damaged Long Chi Bai appeared along with another middle aged man. These two unleashed powerful fire attacks at the fiend. "AIE" the fiend was ganged up on. More experts recovered and began attack with their own attacks.

Rains of swords, earth, lightning, and fire struck the fiend. "AIE!" The fiend screeched in pain, it raised its claws and shot two shockwaves of black energy at its opponents.

"GAH", "NO!"

Several of them were unfortunately caught in the attack, a powerful fish demon, three immortals, and the middle age man who used fire were obliterated. A giant shark demon avoided the attack but was also severely injured.

"No, damn it that things stronger then we thought" Qiang Mei Hua gritted her teeth and prepared a new spell. Empowered by the Zodiac formation she hopped her light rays will kill the fiend in one go. However the fiend noticed her actions.

"AIE" it breathed out a thick smoke which condensed into dozens of phantoms. These phantoms resembled black ghost skulls and charged at the empress.

"Shit" the empress redirected her spell and struck the phantoms instead. Long Chi Bai charged in for another attack however by this point he was depleted. The fiend casually struck the dragon aside and attacked the empress with a punch. The skeletal fist struck her and sent her tumbling out of the skies.

"Hehehe. Sam the strongest" the fiend danced in celebration and sang its own praises. It seemed that it had won the overall exchange. However this battle was very costly. The fiend had expended a lot of power and was now greatly weakened.

After all its opponents weren't weak, together they posed a very high threat level. But the result was the same, the friend clasped its arms and prepared a ball of deep darkness. "You'll all be my Nakama".

Lao Fu on the ground recognised the move. "Run, its going to infect us all". He yelled instructions for everyone to get out of the vicinity. The fiend's attack was a mass scale corruption that will ensure the creation of a massive army from the cultivators below.

These men and women had just come out of a large battle that was still ongoing. They just saw their leaders get pummelled. At this point it was easy for the fiend to turn them into shadow devils.

"Nakama, nakama, nakama, nakama, nakama!" The fiend raised its arms and prepare dot drop the ball. Just then a long arc of sand stretched across the sky. In its injured state the fiend didn't notice in time.

THUD!

Two appendages fell onto the ground. They were massive black skeletal arms. The fiend looked at its two stumps, "AH! Where did they go?" The fiend could now feel a presence approaching behind it. It turned its head to see a pissed off Hu Wenxi walking up to it mid air.

The emperor didn't speak, he simply attacked. The fiend could see it coming and barely got out of the way of a huge pillar of water. "AIE" the ghost unleashed a thick stream of black energy. They condensed into blades and struck towards the emperor.

Hu Wenxi waved his had. Sandy light countered the dark blades and continued towards the fiend. "AIE?" The fiend was struck by the attack and was sent barreling into the ground. Hu Wenxi created pillars of thick sand and slammed into the fiend. He completely disregarded the city ruins below and smashed again and again.

"Aie" the fiendish Sam called out weakly. It weakly got up and starred up at Hu Wenxi. A massive sand fist slammed into the fiend sending it tumbling into the city streets.

"So much chaos" Hu Wenxi whispered. He walked after the slowly crawling fiend. He flicked his hand and sand chains stabbed into the fiend pinning it.

"AIE" the fiend slowly crawled into a sitting position. More chains appeared and stabbed the fiend. Layers of water ate away at the fiend's body. The black skeleton slowly peeled away. The monster began shrinking, its size reduced from over a kilometre into merely the size of a small teenager.

"GAH" the shadowy skeleton figure growled backwards. Hu Wenxi slashed his sword cutting the devil in half.

"GAH!" The fiend that was once Sam split cleanly into two pieces. "AH, I still want to play, want to play, want to play".

Hu Wenxi opened his palms and a small ball of fire appeared. Both halves opened its eyes. "Ah, I still want to play" deep within its subconsciousness it had enraged thoughts. "I still want to play, I still want to play".

Hu Wenxi sneered, "You are one resilient motherfucker". The fiend seemed to have heard him, "But I'm not done playing". The skeletal face growled, "I'm not done".

"I'M NOT FUCKING DONE!"

Both halves exploded into dark wave as Hu Wenxi unleashed his flames. Hu Wenxi's eyes widened. The flames burnt the ground but the fiend split into a wave of black smog. It flew high up into the sky splitting in many directions.

"I WILL PLAY, I WILL PLAY" the smoke transformed into millions of mini fiends. No there are billions of them.

"THIS WORLD IS MY PLAYGROUND, I WILL PLAY WITH IT"

Before Hu Wenxi could catch thousands of fiends. But billions spread out into all corners of the world. Hu Wenxi immediately ripped the Zodiac formation away form Qiang Mei Hua and concentrated it onto himself. With that power hundreds of thousands to millions of fiends died on mass but there were still too much.

"Shit!" Hu Wenxi stretched his power to his limit, the fiends could not harm the emperor so they diverted all their attention to infecting the world. Hu Wenxi was absurdly powerful but this reach was too much for him. He could not kill so many while the fiends kept on dividing.

Hu Wenxi realised he could not reach all the fiends at once nor could he kill them fast enough. He sighed, "I wanted to wait until I returned". Within the emperor's body, Heavenly Qi began circulating.
