We all camp out in the living room that night.
Sunny sat on the couch cuddled close to Carrie, who would flinch at every slight movement. Ally sat on the other side of Carrie patting her back soothingly, yet other than that her face was blank. Avery was laid down on the love seat attempting to sleep, but would jump up when a yell ripped through the tense silence.
Terry and I took the first watch. Well, more like Terry took the first watch. My eyes felt as if they weighed a ton. As I struggled to stay awake I failed to notice the smirk Terry threw towards me.
"Ash, lean your head on my shoulder if you're tired", he whispered while offering his shoulder to me. I slowly placed my head on his shoulder, and suddenly made eye contact with Avery. His eyes held loathe and I'm absolutely positive that he was wishing death on me. Quickly taking my head off, I huffed in frustration.
"I'll be fine, don't worry about me. How about you get some sl-", before I even finished my sentence Terry's hand was on the side of my face. He pulled my head back, pushing it roughly onto him.
"Shut the hell up and sleep."
I glanced over to where Avery was, but he had flipped over. Deciding that Terry was right I closed my eyes.

Morning light seeped through the boarded up living room windows. My eyes opened slowly and I blinked quickly to get the sleep out of my eyes. As I tried to sit up, a weight on my chest restricted me from moving.
Terry's arm was draped across me, while one of his legs laid over mine. My stomach filled up with butterflies. Looking down I traced each of his tattoos with my eyes. It was then I noticed a new addition to his collection. 'Ashton & Terrance, Bros 4 Life.' A small smile appeared on my face.
"I got that one in celebration of your birthday....".
I glanced sideways and noticed Terry's eyes were pinned on me. My face lit up in heat.
"It's nice. I like it", I smile at him and trace it, leaving ghost touches.
"...do you think we're all going to be fine?"
Terry seems to go deep in thought before answering me with a reassuring smile.
"Can't make any promises, but I can promise that I won't allow any of us to get hurt without a fight first."
I looked up at him, and leaned closer. A faint hue of pink covered his cheeks.
"...could you untangle yourself from me, I have to use the restroom."
Terry rolled his eyes and moved away from me. I laughed at his attitude.
"And here I thought you finally...", Terry mumbled the rest under his breath.
I sat up, looking in his direction.
"What was that Mr. Grumpy Pants?"
Terry grumbled and ignored me. I shrugged and went to my bathroom to relive myself. As I dried my hands and walked into my room, Avery sat on my bed.
'...I'm gonna have to wash that.'
Avery sat there staring at me as I stared back. I slowly made my way to my door when he cleared his throat.
"Listen and listen closely. I know what you're pulling and just because everyone believes you're gay, doesn't mean I believe that stupid act. You may have Terry wrapped around your finger right now, but that won't last once he finally pulls his dick out of your ass. So back. The fuck. Off."
Avery strutted out of the door, leaving me speechless.
"...they think I'm gay?! Wait....is Terry gay?"
I decided not to think much of it and walked back out to the living room. As I walked in I noticed everyone was awake, Carrie and Sunny in the kitchen, Avery attached to Terry's arm, and Ally sitting at the kitchen table seemingly lost in thought. I'm not quite close to Ally, but I decided to check up on her.
I slid in the chair next to her, grabbing an apple on the way. For the first few seconds I just sat there letting her live in her thoughts. When she finally saw that I was sitting next to her, I begun to speak.
"How are you holding up, Ally?"
She stares at me. At first I thought she wasn't gonna answer, and I respect that, but then she opens her mouth.
"I feel numb...as if this isn't really happening...I can't...", Ally stands up and starts to walk away towards the patio.
"...Ally? Want me to come with you", Carrie asks staring at Ally with worry. Ally ignores her and keeps walking, pulling down the wooden boards and opening the patio door.
"Ally?"
Ally turns to me, "I can't live in this world anymore", and then she jumps. Carrie screams in terror and goes to run to her, but Sunny holds her back.
"She's gone! She's gone, Carrie....she's....she's gone".
Avery rushes over to the patio, looking over and then quickly running to the bathroom. I stare at the patio, blinking as if that'll bring her back. I make my way slowly, stumbling over my own feet.
"Ally....you...she didn't...", I grab the railing, my hands shaking.
"No....she wouldn't", I go to look down just as Terry pulls me back. I catch a glimpse of bodies piling at the bottom of the drop and Ally's frozen face staring up at me.
Ally is dead.
