People sitting inside the bus can't prevent themselves from reacting of what they just watched. It is a rare happening in their place though snatching, robbing and drugs are rampant. They are sharing their thoughts to each other about the said incident while a person wearing a black hoodie and jeans match the rainy weather sitting alone right after the two women on the very last seat of the bus is quiet and is listening to them though that person's mind fell in a deep thought.

The bus stopped and the door opened as the guy entered wearing a gray sweatshirt. The bus, then continue its fare. Since the only seat that's vacant is beside the person wearing a black hoodie, he sat there, making the person stopped and found her cheek wet with tears. She hurriedly wiped it using the back of her palm.

"We really can't trust the people around us," said the woman wearing a red sleeveless dress while hugging her self. The woman beside her agreed. "Yeah, even the closest and most trusted person you have might end your life. Yikes! Hearing and imagining those scenes sends chills to my body. I'm starting to have some goose bumps." The girl sitting right behind them rolled her eyes and fix her hood.

"You seemed tense. Are you alright?" asked the guy to the girl in a low voice. The girl looked at her with her fierce eyes. "You're soaking wet. Aren't you alright?" she asked. The guy scoffed and smirked. "I'm just concerned to my fellow citizen," and he placed his hands inside the pocket of his sweatshirt. "So, why don't run for being the president of the Philippines?" the girl asked. "I don't want to. I'm just a normal person who has a great record in his job. How about you? What are you?" he asked with deep meaning. The girl smiled bitterly and said, "I'm someone you doesn't want to meet and know," she answered and her facial expression turned dark and as the bus stops, she stood up and got out from the bus. The bus continued its fare as the name of the street caught the guy's attention. "Summer Rain Street? Hmmm," he said.

The girl's running under the heavy rain when she felt her phone vibrated. She stop in front of a department store and took it from her jeans' pocket. "Hello Yvette?" she said. "Where are you right now?" asked by another girl over the line. "Right here outside the Chised Department Store," she answered. "I'm here inside. Let's talk. I can see you now." The girl faced her back and saw her friend, Yvette Morris, sitting on a table that is good for four. She ended the call and decided to enter the department store. She sat right in front of Yvette as she took off her hood, revealing her raven black messy bounded hair.

"Are you alright, Kiara?" Yvette asked her seriously as she placed her drink on the table. Kiara's eyes suddenly went teary as she glanced at Yvette and she started to sob. "I... I don't know. Everything seems so dull. I don't understand what's happening anymore," Kiara answered. Yvette is the only person she could rely in terms of her downfall but what's happening right now isn't a usual scene for Yvette. Even what they heard on the news isn't usual. She knows that whenever Kiara needs help, she will run to her. But right now, it seems that Kiara is running away from her. She pities her and she's confused on what's going on. "Kiar, let me help you."

"You already realize after hearing the news that no one can help me," she said and her voice almost cracked. "You've done many things to help me Yve since I decided to live my home and support my parents and sister. It's my turn now to stand on my feet."

"Stand on your feet and what? Run away?" Yvette's voice rise but making sure no one would hear them. "Running away isn't the answer, Kiar. It will only make things worse than it was before." Kiara stops sobbing, Yvette stopped and gasped as they realize what's going on between them. Kiara stared straight on her eyes, brows furrowed, eyes full of surprise and anger. "Are you suspecting me for murdering my fiancé?!" she blurted. Good thing the people around them didn't hear them. "Kiara, it's not what you think it is-." Kiara cut her off. "I can't believe you, Yve. We've been friends since elementary. You think I can do that?" Yvette reached for her hand but Kiara grabbed it back. "Listen to me first Kiara. I'll help you prove your innocence." Kiara stood up and Yvette's eyes followed her. "You can't help me prove mine if you're also an allege suspect. Help yourself, Yve. I'll handle myself for now," she said and went out from the department store leaving her friend dumbfounded. Little did they know, there's a person standing right in front of the counter of the pharmacy, listening to them and as Kiara leave, that person followed him.

She's walking in the street, not bothered by the heavy rain but bothered by what her instinct tells her. Someone is following her. She hurriedly walks and found a narrow way between houses. But then, the person who's following her revealed its intention as its walk the same pace as hers. Kiara felt chills in her nerves and decided to run while the person chased her. More narrow way she ran until she found out there's no way to go. She looked behind her back and the shadow of a running person almost turned. Her palm became colder than the water that's flowing on her, her body soaked wet shivered, while fear overpowered her when someone grabbed her from nowhere, covering her mouth. She was about to fight back but she restrain herself from doing so when she saw the guy who's following her stopped right beside where they are hiding. The guy turned while looking around, frustration enveloped him when he lost the girl he was following. As the guy faced where Kiara is hiding, she suddenly felt her heart stops from beating. She thought they are going to die- no. She's the one who's going to die because whoever this person right behind her, helping her to hide, might surrender her to the person who's following her. But the person right behind her swiftly moves to hide them behind the sack of charcoals and woods. As she heard running footsteps fading, she was relieved but it fades when she realized that someone is holding her. She started to fight back but the person behind her is stronger than she thought. When the person behind her made sure that the guy won't come back, he let her go. Kiara almost fell on the ground with her face first, but the person who helped her grab her hand back to face him.

"Mr. Candidate for Presidency," she uttered with almost under her breathe.
