Chapter 6

After running for a couple of minutes,I think about 30minutes. I reached a road but it was deserted,I feared for my life to be honest. I can't be seen walking on a lonely road alone.

As I was deep in thought,I saw a light flash behind me,my heart beat increased. I turned and saw a truck approaching,I noticed the driver was maybe transporting goods. My eyes widened as I saw a chance for me to get out of here.

I waved to the driver to stop.

He slowed down

"Hey were are you going to"he asked me but he did not wait for my reply. He quickly drove off fast like a manaic.

"What in the fucking hell. What's wrong with you instead of helping me you are running away you fucking coward. What is the world turning into. FUCK YOU" I shouted at him giving him the middle finger as I saw his retreating car. I wondered why he ran off like that.

That's when I looked at my body.....

"Oh my Goddess" I was a freaking mess,I was bloody,my legs had scratches and blood dripping down I also had marks on my face. No wonder he ran away I looked like someone from apocalypse...

I decided to wait a little to see if any car will pass by and sure enough one came

"Hey hey please stop"I waved

The guy slowed down,he looked like someone in his twenties so I hoped he will take me.

"Hey,what are you doing by this road at this time"

"I went to a party and just wandered around to drink then I got lost. Please can you take me to town" I pleaded giving him girly eyes. No one can resist that,smiles....

"Yeah yeah,hop in" he said opening the passenger door for me

"Thanks" as I sat down on the chair I felt more relaxed that I will be leaving this place and go home.

Music was blasting from his radio and I moved my head and hummed to the beat of the song.

I felt him looking at me...I looked at him and he removed his gaze I knew that something was bugging him....

"Out with it, would ya"

"Okay sorry for asking but we're you really drunk and wandered to the forest"he asked glancing at me

"Yeah,why"

"Then what's up the blood"

I flinched,I don't know what to tell him that's believable.

"I wandered into the forest. As for the blood my leg was scratched from the thorns of the forest that's why am bleeding" well at least that's believable

"Okay"

I was happy that he didn't push it . The remaining trip to town was in silence.

"Thanks,bye"I waved at him as he dropped me off

"Bye"

I walked the rest home. I was just hoping my parents won't give me a hard time. Well if they do I'll just tell them what I told the guy that carried me.

I unlocked the front door and walked in,it was pitch black. I closed the door gently to avoid it making a noice and tiptoed upstairs. Half way upstairs the light flicked on, standing there was my parents looking all furious. Oh Goddess

"And why are you coming this late Octavia" my dad boomed

"And why are you looking so bloody"my mum asked as she ran to my side inspecting my face.

"Sorry mum, sorry dad. I got drunk and I wandered into the forest"I cried. I cried cause I can't tell them I just found my mate and my mate is an Alpha. I know it supposed to be a good thing but not when your mate is a ruthless one that wants to kill you.....

"But that does not explain the blood young lady"my mum asked

"Wandering inside the forest. I got scratched with thorns that's why am bleeding"

"Oh Octavia, didn't I tell you no alcohol"my mum scolded

"I know mum but I couldn't help it sorry"

"Thank Goddess your a wolf and you'll heal in no time,go freshen up dear"my dad said looking me over

"Good night"

I walked upstairs to my room. Threw my clothes into the waste. What I really needed now was a bubble bath to calm my nerves.

I filled the tub with water and added the necessary things.

I entered the tub and lay down. Instantly my nerves relaxed.

But I couldn't help myself as my mind wandered what I had just passed through with my.... mate.

When I walked into that party I wanted to just have fun and find hot girls that I'll screw and dump. As I walked deeper I was hit by this wonderful scent,I really wanted to know where the scent was coming from so I followed the scent and it was leading me to the back door of the building. The scent of overtaking and my wolf was howling for more,it was getting aroused. Yeah that's what the scent did to me.

Getting to back if the party I saw a girl stop in her tracks and the scent hit me stronger. She turned and it's then I knew the scent was coming from her...

"Mates" we both said at the same time. Before I could register her scent she took off. Are you kidding me why will she be running from an Alpha and mate.

I took off after her,I noticed her damn friend was still rooted to the spot like a fool. I ran after her and we ran deep into the forest. She his behind some bushes. I laughed cause that was stupid I could smell I scent.

I walked slowly behind her, she turned when she heard a sound coming from my direction. I pounced on her before she could make any move. I turned into my human side

"Why the fuck did you run away from me" I growled

"Why won't I goddess I was in shock,what did you expect" she replied back at me

"When you are in shock you supposed to stand freaking still like your stupid friend" I seethed

"Don't you dare insult my friend" she warned. I scoffed like she's going to do anything,am only saying the truth she stood like a statue

"And what will you do"I dared

"Why don't you just leave me alone and get out"

"Let me tell you something girl,I am not here cause of mate love, am here cause as a mate you supposed to come and live with me even if I don't want that" I seethed looking down

"Then leave cause I don't want to even live with you"

"This is why I don't want a mate" I shouted. I dreaded the day I'll see my mate,I did not want a mate for any reason,the stress was just too much and I can't see my self with one person for the rest of my life

I knew she felt hurt, hearing your mate say that he or she does not want to have a mate. It's painful

" Then reject me" she said

"ehh I can't"

"Why can't you"

"Cause your 'friend' also knows that you are my mate cause she was there and heard us,then she got stuck like a fool,so she can tell people about it. And I don't want her to start asking questions like 'hey what of your mate I thought you guys are supposed to move in,he's such a jerk', I don't want that. Thinking the worse of me"

"Cause you are the worst" she shouted at me

"Don't you raise your voice at me again" I said pointing my finger at her. She was starting to piss me off

"Don't point your fingers at me"

"Let me tell you something,just because you are my mate does not mean I won't do something to shut you up,so have some respect before I do something drastic" i threatened taking steps to come face to face with her

"Good,now come with me and let me just warn you am not bringing you in as a mate,am bringing you in so that people won't think bad of me. So get that into your thick skull" I said dragging her

"Let me go,I don't want to go with you"she screamed hitting my hand and trying to break free from my grasp.

"Nope I won't and whether you like it or not you are coming with me and don't make me force you I'll hit you really hard" I threatened dragging her so hard.

I was dragging her through the bush and I saw she was getting scratches and cuts on her legs from being dragged,but I didn't care

"You are hurting me let me go"she shouted as she scratched my hands with her nails.

I didn't bulge. I was just fixed on taking her with me by force.

I knew that she was trying to let her wolf surface but I was not scared of that

"Let go of me,this is a warning" she warned

"I already said I won't"who was she to warn me

She clawed at my hands. I streamed letting her go and looking at my hands that's already bleeding.

"What the bloody hell"i shouted

"Come close to me again and what I will do will be worse"I threatened

"Do you think you can kill an Alpha and your mate"I laughed at her. But I gat to be honest hearing her say that turned me on but that does not mean I accept her as my mate..

"Don't test me"

"How did you even have the strength to do that"i thought. I never knew she'll have the power to do that

"You will never know"she said

Before I knew it i charged at her. She did not expect it and she couldn't avoid my grab. I grabbed her from the throat and started choking her.. I just wanted her to die,she's pissing me off

"Le.....t meee go"she cried trying to push me away.

"I'll kill you" i said. My eyes has already turned black from anger.

Before I knew it she hit me in the face,I screamed and touched my nose that am sure have broken.

"You bitch"I shouted. How the fuck did she do that

She ran,I grabbed her legs. She screamed and used her leg to hit me in the face causing me to groan.

I saw her running but her let her go,I'll get her some other time.

I went to my mansion and called my beta.

"Simon,I need you to search for a girl"I told him

"Who Mason,they are plenty girls. How will I know the one you are looking for"he replied taking a seat

"Okay let this be between us"

"Okay so...."

"I found my mate"I rushed out

"Oh Goddess, really wow,that's great"Simon said giving me a wolfish grin

"No it's not"

"Why".

"The thing is I don't want a mate Simon"

"What! Why. A mate is a great thing"

"It's not for me"

"Then why are you looking for her"

"Cause I don't want to look like a bad person the more. You know, seeing my mate and then abandoning her when people hear that they will hate me more. She'll just stay her that's all ,no mate Interest" I said sighing

"How do you want me to start looking for her"

"First off I don't have her name,so you'll have to go to the party and get the footage,so I'll show you the girl. Then you can proceed to ask more questions about her around. That will be all for now" I told my beta

"Okay I'll get right on it,but I hope you'll treat her well buddy" he looked at me pleadingly,I almost laughed

"Yeah yeah,get to work". I waved him off as he walked to my door and shut it behind him.

I dropped the papers I was holding in my hand and thought about her. She thinks she can piss me off with her ways and claws that made me bleed.
