When I Was Younger

Fire comes out of your mouth

You try to turn me into your ashes.

But I'm only scarred with the words

You tried to level onto my skin.

You can pin,

Everything I've sinned,

But I've already rolled the cards

that have been in my hand since the start.

Fire destroys homes,

While homes are like fire,

Beautiful in the inside going through a black hole

But on the inside of an black hole

It will eat you alive.

Once you realize your home was never normal

Or healthy,

It was the gasoline you spilt

That never made me miss

The life I used to have.

It's only

The tomb where my memories bury me alive.

That only makes me wonder

Where it all went wrong.

The only thing I'll miss is the father I used to have

When I was younger.
