001 - The Demon King 01
"We, the Dark Kin representative, with humble heart, wishing our lord a biggest welcome to our world. Your Majesty, the one who rules over us, the Demon King has listened to our plead and grace us with your majestic appearance!" That's the first thing I heard, after arriving in this weird place. Apparently, the place that I should be right now, in the class at first period, change into the location of primitive like village in the middle of the jungle.
Furthermore, I can see plenty of hideous faces, the group of green monsters, kneeling in front me as they acknowledging me, an ordinary but professional teacher, Daimon Akuto - the rightful ruler of them. The leader I assume, a female old green creature, nonstop raining me with it's praise, but all of those words doesn't insert in my ears anymore. With emotionless face, I tried to remain calm, observing the situation and calculating any possibility about this sudden event.
As I eliminating one by one the speculations that I made while doing the thinking, the only conclusion that I received is I definitely have been summoned into other world, which means, become the victim of sudden missing in my world... I mean former world, the Earth. I tried to look around, searching my students, but none entered my eyes. If my students, the Otaku A, B or C are here right now, I'm sure that they can explained this situations.
"My lord.... My I help you with your wondering?" The green old monster stop his praise sermon, and speak those words.
"Am I only the one who been summoned here?" I open my mouth after only riddling in silent.
"Yes my lord, but in the same time, no...." The green hag monster riddle me with its word, make me angry, looking that thing with fierce eyes and said; "don't messing up with your words..."
"Your Majesty, your humble servant will explain it more later on, but I plead my lord to enter the humble place that we prepared for you..." Sensing my wrath, the ugly hag creature offer me to enter the place that it mentioned.
"Well then, show me..." With the King mode, I said it with haughty manner, making those creatures shiver with fear, as their king given them the permission.
The place, where my 'throne' have been prepared there, is like a big canopy, Red Indian styled, but much bigger - can comfortably hold the whole group of the ugly creatures together with me in that space. While I sitting on the decorates chair, those green creatures, surrounded me, 30 things plus one of its leader, waiting me, to open my mouth.
"You'll may sit now...."
"By your command, your Majesty...." The old green hag bowing to me politely, then followed by others before sitting down on the ground, that covered by the grass mats.
After changing the pleasantry, the leader of the group begin to explain what right and left, the whole situation to me with missing any point. The green hag giving the input about this world, and the main reason why I standing in this place. In the few hours of exchanging the words, I have make some note about the main points of our conversation;
1. The green creatures in front me are called the goblin, one of species that belong in the Dark Kin category. The goblins have short live expectations, only 15 to 20 years old. For your information, the goblin old hag, the leader age already reached 15 years old, about same age as my students. While their life quite short, they can extends it by evolving, from goblin, to hobgoblin and final one, highgoblin. It seem that the only way to evolve by reaching level 100, which can be done by killing the beasts or the enemies.
2. The Dark Kin in war against the Light Folk. The war of the tribes actually happen for how many years only God know, with the track record, the Light Folk always triumph over them. The heroes summoning are the main reasons of their success. No wonder, they tried to change the usual Demon King summoning, basically to call out the legendary dark being like the devil or demonic creature - but the green hag brilliantly hijack the human summoning ceremony in their searching for the new leader, among the peoples of the hero world. By the way, Earth actually recorded as the hero world in their history.
3. As the result, I have been summoned by them, after taking advantage of the hacking of heroes summoning ritual by human tribe in this world, also known as the leader of Light Folk. I been chosen by Dark Kin side after decided as the most suitable person for the Demon King job, not like the others (my students). I have a bit of problems after knowing that I, a innocent and respected teacher, have been chosen as the Demon King, because of my qualifications. Not like I bragging around, but I always been praised by my students as one of the best teachers that they ever have. Even the problematic students in my class finally cool down and focusing their study in my class, after I become their class teacher. Even though I am a new teacher, they given me great cooperation, as expected for me. But, a Demon King? Well, it's useless to cry over the spilled milk.
4. With great power come the great ability. Nope, not at all. Well I have few talents as the Demon King and with the better stats, but there is no special or unique skill at all. The only ability that I owned are I can establish my own castle by summoning it. The green hags explained to me that the castle is a must as we can gather the forces from other Dark Kin tribes before started the war against Light Folk. Well, I need to wait about two years for doing that, so it's not an urgent thing.
The most interesting that I found about this world is the status screen, just like game styled, suddenly appear when I said "status". As the old hag advised, I voiced the word before the screen of status information appears in front my eyes, and written like this;

Hell no, I need to kill human and other light folks kind for level up huh. I got some good idea to do something about it. Naming sound nice for my future army, but learning and teaching quite funny talents I have, ironically, for I, as the teacher in my former world.
5. Currently, my location right now are inside the Kulshedra Forest, the west side of this unnamed continent. This forest region belong to the Dark Kin clans, separated with three zone. The deepest zone, with covered the west coast of the unnamed continent, exist the high rank Dark Kin species such like vampires, werewolves and sirens. The region itself full of dangerous Chaos Dweller beasts, that ranked for A to SSS by the adventure guild in the Light Folk countries. The middle region of the forest belong to middle ranked Dark Kin tribe, such as treants, kobolds and orcs, in additional of rank D to B Chaos Dweller monsters. My location are in the periphery of the forest, which normally the weakest side reside here. Actually, I rather be here because of the lower risk of safety and I could gain plenty time to rise my power.
The Light Folk peoples reside at the east coast of this continent - mostly in the 4 big nations. In between of the Kulshedra Forest and the 4 big nations, exist the region called Marduk Free Land, where its well known as the place that full of dangers. The funny thing is the Dark Kin threat never happened there, but the conflicts of the place related to the bandits, mostly the work of human kinds. The region also is the home place for the minority tribes of the Light Folk, but they have to stay hiding and alerts from the bandit activities. When you see the bandit as criminals, I see it as the foods for my leveling.
By the way, I been summoned in the morning, at same time of my first class period. So, the discussions taking plenty of time, as my stomach begin to make sound. The goblins prepared me some foods, which is not bad but not well balanced diets. The foods contain mostly the meat, came from their hunts, the deer like creatures, but in cow size, and some weird looking fruits, to entertain me.
After filling my stomach, I gathered them back on the throne room, and granted them names. The goblins shout happily, cheering my decision. I asked the old green hag about any side effect of the naming ceremony, but the leader denied it while saying that she never heard about that. Before starting the ceremony, I asked them about the young and elder goblins, since all of the goblins that gather here in adult age range except the leader. With her sad face, the green hag told me that all of them left their tribe in order to summon me. They wanted to become the subordinates of the Demon King, and fight alongside him. Their dream actually laughed by their own species, but now they managed to succeed it.
Their story really touching me. So, I will naming them with most thoughtful feeling, to commemorate their dreams, by summoning me. My name sense are very excellent, so there are no hesitating for me to do this things. The first one, the old leader, I named her Ichika. Her right hand, become Nika, afterwards, Sanka, until number ten, Juuka. The eleventh goblin will name Juuichi, then Juusan, and that kind of naming, the brilliant one, using the number in Japanese, that picked by me, become the standard of their new name. After granted the last goblin with special name, Sanjuuichi, finally the naming ceremony ended.
We having feast, well the foods are like the late lunch, to celebrate their new names. Some of the goblins surprised with their strength, as they become much stronger than before. Coincidentally, the first ten are female group, while the rest are males, so adding -ka really making their names suitable for their gender. Especially Ichika, the hag really happy with her name, although her old appearance did offset that.
Later on, I make another step, in order to become the Demon King....
