Her Precious Idea

CHAPTER 12

"1720, 1820, 1920, 1948 and 1901" she calmly stated as she pins every idea on the wood board in front of our conference room.

"Really? A Pin board? That's thing is going to save us" I sarcastically speak out of the blue

"Can you please shut the hell up?" she speaks as if she's talking to her guards

"Come on Mate! stop pretending that you're not amazed with her intelligence" Lock teasingly chuckles "By the way! You're obvious!" he added

Asshole!

"Pin board is where my key ideas go to stay, it's a sort of hotel for important thoughts and emotions, a place for them to stay until I need them to weave in with another spark of inspiration and create something new… in other hand, we're using this Pin board to store and put our ideas, starting from our evidence until to our leads" She dedicatedly explain every single detail on the that thing.

"we already have the information in 1720 right?" Gray added

"that's why Lycko pinned all the articles and leads that has a relation with the 1720 incident" Price commented

"So what are we going to do next? Any plans?" Lock stated seriously

"Maybe we can continue with 1820?" I suggested an idea that makes them think in a moment "but how can we supposed to know the truth? I mean how can we supposed to know why Blade has something to do with these things?" I added

"Literally speaking, if we finish to get information about the dates we can easily put things together and find the lead yet we have to do it ironically" she convincingly stated

"what do you mean ironically?" Lock asked

"We have to do this thing secretly and reversely" Gray added

"what? Why?" I asked

"not literally reverse idiot!" Price hissed

"I don't get the point" I commented

"let me clarify, our purpose in solving these problems was to get an answer right? To know what is the connection of Lawrence and Patricia to the Richardson's and to know why do Blade know all of this in spite of he is murdered when you were little right?--" she calmly tries to state what's on her mind

"I still don't get it" I stated cutting her statement

"damn it! How can you be the great Pendelton in Town? The great detective douche in town if you don't get any idea from what I stated?" She angrily mocked at me

"I just don't get it… just proceed brat!" I stated

"Hey! Watch your words!" Price murmur

"Tss…"

"The point is, we should know the reason before knowing who's behind all of this… let's break the stereotypes scenarios were we have to know first the culprit before knowing his reasons… the truth is this catastrophe was well planned, it goes smooth and they either have back up plans or back up options against those who opposes them, against us… the culprit expected us to attack either in front of them or at their back but I suggested that what if we attacked them under? It was like digging towards the direction where they're hiding and as we reach their feet we just grab them up so we are able to know who they are… it's basically knowing the reasons first before knowing who's behind those reasons. Simply yet clever right?" she stated as if she has planned everything up.

"So what's our plan?" Knight-Lock mocked

"We have to collect the information regarding to the catastrophe happened from the given dates" Price stated

"After getting every information we can basically make an idea out of those articles" Gray added

"With that, we can know what is the meaning of everything, what's its reason and how can we stop the catastrophe… it's like an It's now or never scenario" Lycko automatically curve a smile after stating her idea.

"In order for us to know everything we should be parted. Lycko works with Lock in 1820 file—"

"But we should stay together, it's too dangerous to make a move that we're apart." she demanded

"how can we know about the other if we focus on just one information?... we should work correctly and fast! Time is running! Tik… Tok…" I sarcastically shouted out of frustration.

"Fine! Do your plans! Just don't fucking shout at me as if you're the superior here Chase! I just don't want to risk the lives of my brothers with your stupid parted plans!" she hissed angrily and sited on the couch staring blankly on the ceiling

Ignoring her was the best idea. "As I've said a while ago, Lycko and Lock assigned on the files from 1820, Price you're in charge on 1920, while Gray was working on 1948 and I will be working on the case of 1901" I said calmly as I could.

The silence was a poison to us yet we can't avoid. It was like a fog that slowly eating us, for in that void of sound the shallowness of our breaths was laid bare.

"How can we know if little things mean a lot?" Gray suddenly ask out of the blue

"why'd you ask?" I asked

"Nothing, it's just that we're on a mission that each one of us don't know if we can survive, it was like a ticking bomb, we don't know when it has to explode" he stares at the bottle of rum he's holding

"We can know if little things mean a lot when anything affects everything" glancing towards where the voice came from, he was staring at Lycko sincerely. Secretly clenching my fist and taking deep breathes was the only option I have.

"Enough with the dramas" I coldly stated and sit to the nearest couch.

"You've heard of the butterfly effect right?" Lycko spoke

"Butterfly effect?" –Lock

"What do you mean?" –Price

"Wouldn't it be strange if we could go back and change the future from the past?... But what will happen when the nightmare does not end and time comes crashing down?" Each one of us was staring at her yet she seems decided not to bother look back on us. She still staring at the ceiling wondering about everything.

"Hey, stop it you're being crazy" Price come through her direction and comfort her.

"She has a point… Life is strange" Gray agreed from his sister's idea.

It was the kind of decision that didn't seem like one at all; it flowed through the eyes the same way a mountain range does in the soft light of a new dawn. It is like words that let the surroundings dissolve and the sounds around. Having a conveyance of meaning, often on more than one level. Layers of symbolism as fluidly everyone could imagine, often the subconscious speaking believing to be silent.

"We should get going" I coldly stated.

"Danger comes with Death; Loss comes with Guidance; Fortune go on its own" she stated and walked away.
